So well said. It's so easy to compare yourself to others, and it can be so hard on us mentally (and sometimes physically) when we do so.

You made all the good points here yourself. If I have anything to add, it is that I agree you ought to give yourself more credit for how much you do for others. So here’s a perfect opening for me to say, in case you don’t believe yourself on any given day, that you absolutely rock April! Thank you for your kindness! That is all 💕

I stopped comparing myself to anyone a long time ago...and even comparing myself to my before crap hit the fan me. Its so much better this way. I don't call myself disabled...I don't call my deaf son disabled. I think raising him before I fell apart helped me get my head on straight with this. Sure, there are things we have to do different now, but its still a 24 hour day and the stuff still gets done, sometimes not on the timeline we want, but its still sitting there tomorrow waiting on us. Hang in there, you'll get this. We are not meant to be supermom or have all good days. I used to have a Type A personality. This stuff took care of that. I can stare down a towel folded wrong or a pile of dust with the best of them now. Priorities change. My goal is to keep my butt out of a nursing home. Anything above that is pure bliss. Be kinder to yourself. You do deserve it. You have every right to be happy and every right to be grumpy on those days. Its ok to be you. You encourage more people than you know. Your journey is for a reason. Your family love you because of who you are on the inside, where is counts. Have an awesome day.

You are doing “all the things”. A mom, artist and TH-camr. I get tired thinking about all the things you are doing. And I am a so called “Able” person.
