I’ve gotten into gardening over the quarantine period, I bought a small plastic greenhouse and I’ve been growing fruits, veggies and herbs. It’s fun and you get food out of it in the end.
As "write a poem" is not for so many people. It's kind of sad how common it is to almost celebrate yourself for not being good at Maths. I don't mean it as an offense. Just think about how much more motivating it would be for students to study math, if they wouldn't hear from everyone else "Math is hard. I don't like Math. I was never good in it, too, so don't mind."
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 I totally agree with you, but the more advanced math gets, the more it actually demands a brain that can make unusual, new connections. I would also say that often times teachers don't explain concepts in math very well, which then leads to students believing it's all just kinda made-up. As always it really just is a combination of genetic make-up and environment.
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 When you dive really deep into maths you realize that in maths nearly nothing is just there. Everything is connected. For me there is no other subject that is more logical which makes it so beautiful. Maths is the language of the universe.
@@ilseettymariawijfjes615 That's not what they said, at all in fact. They were just commenting on how it's a common thing on being "bad at math and proud", which, if it were any other subject, people would definitely call others out on why everyone's fine with such a counterproductive thing. And I'm actually shocking at maths - a self-proclaimed "words, not numbers" brain - who only through hard work, and seeing the value in and how interconnected maths is as a whole, managed to get my first C in A Level maths. In second year. In February.

Through this corona virus outbreak, I’ve realized the importance in appreciating the little things in life. Having more time at home, I started doing some of the things like this video, such as, reading more, writing diaries, growing things, eating healthy, and last but not least, having family time. Learn sign language! In summer of 2016 I was soooo bored and came across a really cool asl cover of a song. It got me soooo much into it that I'm still learning and want to obtain a certificate in ASL, International Sign Language and Polish Sign Language!
I fully took your advice to clean out my digital space- I’ve been putting it off for literally years and my computer is so laggy. I just spent a few hours sorting through my files and cataloging them as well as deleting any I didn’t need, and now my computer is in the final stages of a factory reset. It’s weird how refreshed I feel just from this simple (but a little tedious) activity. So thank you!
My sister and I have decided to learn Morse code during self isolation. We’ve already learned some and we’re really enjoying it. We’re also going to write a Russian poem on it too. Thankyou Ruby for these great ideas!
Absolutely love this! So far I have had a huge clear out and spent a week deep cleaning and reorganising my room. After Alevels were cancelled I felt downhearted but I found taking time to reset so helpful and I can't wait to try some of these things in the coming weeks. Thank you so much Ruby!
Great video Ruby! This quarantine period, I've: 1) Listened to an audiobook on a series (Unwind Series by Neal Shusterman) 2) I am currently reading a book required for my next semester 3) Followed an at-home workout 4) Practiced dancing at home 5) Organized my closet 6) Have almost made my bed everyday and kept clothes off the floor (lol)
I absolutely loved this! Thank you Ruby for putting positive, fun, and well thought out ideas out there. It's helpful for me to see others staying positive during these lonely times ❤
Last week I ran my first 5k without stopping and all the time I could hear the voice in my head saying that I can do it. Forwago, thank you so much for everything!!
Thank you so much for this list! I've been in isolation since two weeks now and I'm really getting bored, even though I work full time and go to university at the same time. This gave me a lot of new ideas instead of just doing the usual ❤
I've been teaching myself french plaits this quarantine! I've done a french braid every morning this week and it has honestly improved so quickly. Go for it!
Some more options for u..which i do in this lockdown- * Do gardening * Painting, sketching * Yoga, meditation * Cycling, walking * Learning spanish from duolingo
You've inspired me to create a dreams book and it keeps reminding me that, even without school, I can still work towards it, you've helped me find my purpose again
Hey Ruby I love this video, it’s so helpful! I’m hard of hearing and wear hearing aids and I always read lips and I often use sign language when communicating so thank you so much for including learn sign language! I would love to see more people leading how to sign, the fact you included this in a video makes me,myself feel very included! Thank you and stay safe! ❤️❤️❤️
This was brilliant! Thank you! Could you please do a video on motivation in lockdown as I have things to do but I just don't feel motivated enough to do them so a video about that would be much appreciated! From a fellow lover of old-timey things
Hello Ruby! I loved this video!! Also, I have a notebook, where I have a list of little things that make happy, and whatever it is, I write it, either the wind playing with my hair, or my favourite candy. I suggest!! It makes you realise, that we have such a lot of things that make us happy and we must be grateful for them!! ❤️
I have one assignment left and I’ve split it into 5 days of work. I’ve done 2 days so far. I also keep productive by TH-cam, switch, sorting out my room, decluttering my gadgets - I need to do my laptop. I have also started to learn a new language
OMG thanks, Ruby !!! I needed this right now. I am living in my own studio and travel bans have made it challenging for me to go back to my family. Looking for new activities/hobbies to keep me occupied and less lonely.
Hey Ruby ! I wanted to thank you for these productive videos. It helped me to regain my confidence as I had a mental broke down because of my finals. I kept procrastinating my studies and regretted it so bad. Now I'll make this lockdown time useful and cover up all my mistake. Thankyou, love ya :)
I haven't been very productive so far on lock down but since watching this video I've been doing great! I would love a video on tips for online school or something like that. Thank you!!!
A lovely video. So useful that I shared this with my students. Great to hear a young person speaking in a lovely, clear and articulate voice which is ideal for my ESOL students to understand. Thank you.
I just started to learn Spanish. I'm Dutch and my English is pretty good and feels normal to me, because English is everywhere. So to learn a new language is really cool.
thanks a lot. I really wanted to do any productive work in my holidays but I really have no idea what should I do so through this video i can easily spend my day productive again thanks a lot
I'm a 23 year old recovering addict. I am nearly 2 years clean. And the thing that really helps me is Forwago. I discovered about it a half year ago and I have been using it every day since. I feel there is still hope for me.
I was searching for thisss!! Thank you so much I'll try do as many as I can from what u said and I'm super excited! I like u a lot omg I dream of having a friend like u 🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much ruby! I really needed this right now as my schedule used to be super prouductive but now I have more time and I need to fill it up with something that is a prouductive use of my time and this has given me lots of ideas❤❤ Sending love Australia🐨🐨

ruby always gives me motivation to be productive, it’s like magic
Great video Ruby!
This quarantine period, I've:
1) Listened to an audiobook on a series (Unwind Series by Neal Shusterman)
2) I am currently reading a book required for my next semester
3) Followed an at-home workout
4) Practiced dancing at home
5) Organized my closet
6) Have almost made my bed everyday and kept clothes off the floor (lol)
I absolutely loved this! Thank you Ruby for putting positive, fun, and well thought out ideas out there. It's helpful for me to see others staying positive during these lonely times ❤
Last week I ran my first 5k without stopping and all the time I could hear the voice in my head saying that I can do it. Forwago, thank you so much for everything!!
this video makes me feel so peaceful and happy and calm...
Seriously the best video on the things to do during the lock down
When am seeing u i feel so productive
I'm surprised she managed to fit 50 different ideas into a 7 minute video. I'm very much impressed. Thanks for the ideas, Ruby 💕
Go for it!

You've inspired me to create a dreams book and it keeps reminding me that, even without school, I can still work towards it, you've helped me find my purpose again

she seems like sweetest person ever 🥺
I have one assignment left and I’ve split it into 5 days of work. I’ve done 2 days so far. I also keep productive by TH-cam, switch, sorting out my room, decluttering my gadgets - I need to do my laptop. I have also started to learn a new language
It’s 9pm and I have a sudden urge to be productive but there’s nothing to do. Excited to watch this video x
