I feel the same. After he told us about how people treat him I was like "annyeong potatoes!" His concern was more important to me because if this is how he as a man mstaken as a woman is treated, how are REAL women treated in those situations where people just touch him?

He made me cry. It's hard enough to live like that in North America, where we claim to be liberal, but in other countries, it is even more of a challenge. I have a 22 year old daughter and this broke my heart.
Even if all those male customers thought the first guy was a girl, it's pretty disgusting that they think it's okay to force a girl to sit down & start groping her. I think that issue should have been addressed too.

That's why they ask him why he didn't report it to the police. It's sexual assault regardless if they thought he was a man or woman.
I think he should change his hairstyle. It makes him look more feminine. And I don't know why he is wearing makeup.

The first concern, his brother looked upset and he looks like he's going to tear up when he saw his brother teared up while telling how many people assaulted him. I can feel he cares for him so much
This episode was very interesting. The first concern really made me angry he's really strong after all that happened and still coming to the show. And the last two were kind of hilarious hahah.

Fans like her are one of the major building blocks of the entertainment industry, hehehe, so I feel a bit happy for her although I do feel for her husband but when your lonely or depressed you do reach out for something, anything.

The story of that 22 years boy who looks like a women made me CRY T.T .. poor him TT.TT
OMG.Even I started squealing like an idiot when Jung Dongha came and sang, even though I'm NOT his fan. That voice,doe. Anyone will fall in love with that voice.
This episode was awesome, but that 22 year old guy really made me feel sad.
I hope people will treat him differently now.
That said, I must say, CNblue was gorgeous! Every single one of them! Minhyuk, Jungshin, Jonghyun and Yonghwa!
Sometimes I feel as if these male hosts go way too far in making fun of Lee Yeonja, at the end of the day she's a woman afterall, no one likes being poked at because of their weight.
I think a bigger concern is the amount of girls that must be getting sexually harassed--if what the man in the first concern reported was true (him getting such encounters dozens of times a month)...
Also what does it mean to run like a girl? Some of the gender stereotypes while meant to be comical were unnecessary...

Its cases like the second one that make Korean celebrities worried when it comes to dating. Coz there are always those fans who don't support them just for their talents, looks and personalities, but support them in the hopes of marrying them someday.
If not this, they just feel like they own the idol or actor. I understand being a little sad that the guy you like is taken, but there are extremes. And sadly there are people who go to these extremes.
I know I can't be with Lee Jonghyun (just an example even tho I do love him lol) but I want him to find love and be happy ^^
I think her obsession has more to do with menopause or a mental disorder. it has nothing to do with the poor celebrity. I like how he said what she is, is not uplifting for him. There are also studies now that the decline in estrogen can bring on psychological problems that may have been held in abeyance by the hormone.

A lot of older generation koreans are still very much conservative. The newer generations seem a bit more accepting but it's still not something widely accepted there.
I'm not saying it's right but you need to understand their culture and look at how it's continually changing in the future generations.

Yeah. I agree with you. She might go a little overboard with all the money spent, or too many pictures, but it makes her happy. I was just like "How dare he try and take away her happiness". She doesn't have a job, and she basically raises two kids on her own. She needs something else in her life! And if a singer makes her happy...then she shouldn't change that!
+silvervixen007 try to look at this concern from the husband's perspective. he provides for his family, he works apart from his family, he can't see them everyday, I guess if he could he won't take that job, who wants live separately with their families? and seeing his wife loving (or I'm gonna use her term), liking another man that much? of course it hurts. if she thinks her husband can't make her happy then there's a problem with her. his husband's jealousy is already a proof that he loves his wife, and he envies his wife's affection towards Dongha. just my two cents.

But after reading your comment again I kinda get it, I was a hardcore fans of kpop (if I ever lived in Korea I could be one of those sasaeng fans lol) but once I met the right man I stopped being a fan. Ms.Maggie the outfit he is wearing looks like what most women wear to hide their hips and belly....I think if he wore shirts that fit rather than oversized then it would help .....I think a lot of it has to do with what he said about not having enough testosterone and therefore he has more estrogen which can give men belly fat, more breast tissue and a higher voice.....regarding the married couple I think that either the family should move to the town where the husband works or he she get a job closer to home....I think the wife is extremely lonely as well as raising 2 kids and working....he only comes home once a month and that is ridiculous and that is why she is fixated on the singer since she wants companionship and romance and isn't getting any

***** Way too many to list! I think they all have some strengths in different categories:-) I got into K-Pop a long time ago; It was around the time SS501 first debuted.
But Top 10 would be:
GD and Big Bang- for a rap and hip-hop group, for swag, great fashion sense and crazy M/Vs.
SS501- for brotherhood (Members are doing solo things now though)
Suju- for entertainment
U-Kiss- for a good all-around group
CNBLUE- for a rock band
Mate- for an Indie group
SHINee- for making so-so and silly songs that are not necessarily good but, you just can't seem to get them out of you head and dance to them when you're alone!
MBlaq- for Lee Joon (enough said:-)
Infinite- for their synchronized dancing and choreography, and having allot of member that have multiple talents.
Royal Pirates - my favorite rookies so far (I hope they get more popular!)
And too many more....
However its strange, I've never really paid attention to any girl groups. Plus I like allot of individual singers, for real music:-)
***** the thing is that the boys in boy groups get as much surgery as the girls. so its really not a gender thing. both get plastic surgery but honestly no one does any dramatic procedures so i dont get why people freak out over plastic surgery. its not a big deal.

The overly affectionate son is really disturbing. I don't understood why more people don't see it as a problem. The problem is not that he's showing affection, but it's in the WAY that he is showing affection. He is being physical with his mom in a way that you would with a lover and not a family member. Hugging and kissing your family is ok, but not kissing on thighs and stomach and toes and back of her neck and all over her body and holding her from behind. There's something wrong there. Even his expression when he was holding her from behind to demonstrate what he normally does was more like a look that you would give someone you were dating. I wanted so bad for someone to say that he was a son, and not a husband or boyfriend, so even though he wished he could heal his mom's hurt from an unaffectionate marriage, he simply will never be able to fill that kind of void because he's the SON. Ugh. He's trying to fill that sexual role as husband whether he realizes it or not. He was trying to fix what his father failed in doing, but that's just something he can't do. I bet she cried and told him about the marriage problem when he was a teenager, so when he was trying to heal his mom's hurt, I can see him developing this kind of off thinking during that critical time period of mental growth and development combined with all the harmones swirling. He obviously loves his mom and wants to see her happy, but this is too much.
Even if there wasn't anything wrong with what he is doing, he should respect her wishes and back off some. It's a kind of physical harassment. And it wasn't like she was asking him to completely stop showing affection. He's an adult now so he should be able to handle it. It's so disturbing when people come on this show because they are being physically or sexually harassed by their own partners, and all the other person says is, "well I like it and this is how I show my "love" so they should just accept it." It makes me so upset that even though they are causing the other person physical pain and/or mental anguish, they are so selfish and disrespectful to the other person that they won't stop. It's very disturbing.
The guy that looks like a girl, really all he needs is a shorter manly haircut and more sharp tailored clothes with boxy lines. Something that can give a more manly shape to his body. And probably work on his mannerisms because he does have feminine movements. Most of the guys in those k-pop groups look like girls, so I'm not sure him looking like a girl is so much the issue. If he could gain confidence in himself coupled with a haircut plus more man-like movements and gestures, I think that would help. Maybe when he is able to afford it he could start harmonies again. (Though with what I'm hearing about the medical system over there, I wonder if the doctor was even giving him the right medicine.) It's really disturbing and wrong how people have been treating him. I hope one day they do a "where are they now" show and we can see how these people are doing years later and if the advice helped.
IKR. Its so disturbing they way her son show his affection. Kissing here and there. I think you are right. Maybe he see his mother, more than a mother. He says he likes her mother, but what he really mean is he really "LIKE" her mom. Like, like like. Hmmm that is so distrubing

That first concern is serious.Why the hell the government doesn't pay for his treatment?Even here in Brazil you have access to those injections if you need to.
The second concern is ridiculous,realllyyyy hard to watch.If i was married to a girl like that i would be seriously desappointed with her behavior .The guy is really patient to keep married to to such stupid woman. (not because she's a woman, if a man behave like that. being a crazy fan of a girl group that would be also unacceptable)
I think in Korea, despite universal healthcare sponsored through work/the gov, this kind of treatment comes under cosmetic or elective care. A lot of gender/sex related health issues are treated like that in general unfortunately, in Korea and all over the world.
***** Yeah, how could she be so heartless seeing her own daughter crying and the efforts of the husband to change things and still put an idol before the family.It was painful to watch and make me really mad at her.
I think that the wife is not entirely wrong.Because like what they said,they are a monthly couple.They don't get to see each other often,so it is not surprising that the wife isn't close to her husband.But of course,she needs to draw a line between her and the idol after all.

Omg ,the first concern? I felt so bad for him when he said that people would touch him to see if he was a woman? That's sexual abuse and i swear all those people are disgusting and inhuman. So what if he doesn't look like a typical man? He had his reasons and i would sit those people down and ask them how they would feel if i touched them to 'check' their gender ,ugh such assholes.
The second concern? The woman should draw a line between her personal activities and her family's activities ,the husband was clearly upset ,i mean come on he wasn't stopping her from fangirling ,he just wanted the wife to be a bit more considerate towards the family and love them more. It's obvious he was mostly away on business but he's doing that for the family and he loves his wife and kids ,she should understand more rather than just pushing him away and dreaming about an idol.
The last concern ,when the son said that he had a reason ,i just died coz he was so what so considerate of his mom and what she had been through ,yea of course he should cut a down a bit on the skinship but he was pretty sweet . Also i hope he understands that skinship isn't the only way of showing support for someone! I hope they're not misunderstood coz it doesn't seem incest at all!
Oh and gotta say CNBLUe were awesome lol! One of my favourite guests! Oh one last thing ,right before they show the son in the last concern ,around 53:06? You can see Jong shin applying lip balm hehe so cute!

first person has hormonal problems: that's not something HC can solve as it's not behavioral. It's a deficit he has to live with until he gets a permanent *and probably expensive* medical treatment.
People in his position go on HC not because they expect themselves to change but because they hope people will see it and recognize them and not badger them about it because they know it can't be fixed. It's to raise awareness for themselves so that less people would misunderstand and treat them like that.
Doesn't the winner or whatever get money though? Any he use that to get medical treatment also?
ButtcheekofKyungsoo The prize money is only around $1000 usd. It can be a lot or very little depending on the winner. I think the prize money is mainly there as an incentive so guests will appear on the show.
The first concern is so frustrating for the poor boy. The second concern made me laugh a lot since the fan concerns are always funny and the third was sweet and disturbing at the same time. It's sweet to see he loves his mother and wants to make her feel happy because of the though marriage but he should realise the amount of bounderies he is crossing with being so affectionate

I can relate to the last concern. If he is on a 10/10 scale with being affectionate to his mother, then im at about a 7/10 LOL I'm really close with my mom and im a mommy's girl, so i can understand. I give my mom kisses and back hugs, and she always tells me to stop, but i cant lol! But im not as bad as he is. XD
same here, im 23 too I Give my mom back hugs when she does the dishes, kiss her (cheeks, forehead or shoulders) and hug her a lot, we sometimes cuddle, but I do think hes over the top! :l

I really disliked the second concern. Usually when I watch Hello Counselor the problems never really bother me much, but this time it is just RIDICULOUS. First I'd like to state that it's okay to be a huge fan of someone. Shoot, I'd pass out too if I had the opportunity of holding CL's hand or for her to sing to me. But the thing is it doesn't look like she shows affection towards her husband. And her kids. For Christ sake, he comes home once a month because of work and he has to come home to her talking about that guy, sneaking off to see his concerts, her depressed and crying because he got married. Who would want to come home to see your wife like that? Crying and agonizing over another guy? SHE HAS A HUSBAND and TWO KIDS. TWO! They planned a family trip and because of her they had to cancel it. It's ridiculous. I mean if she was single and didn't have kids then she would have different priorities and she can do whatever the hell she wants. BUT SHIT take care and LOVE your husband and look after your kids. She's there acting like the whole thing is a joke. She needs to understand that since she made the commitment of having a family she should COMMIT.
