I get angry anytime I listen to that kind of problems .. although I love kpop and korea but I think they are too obsessed with beauty In general.. they only care about visual no matter if you are an idol or not but surely being an idol is the hardest one... its really sad so I agree with you

I am one of the fans who took to shielding Peniel from the hateful comments about his hair, mostly cause I knew what was happening. even though he isn't my bias for these past two years of knowing BTOB he's become like a big brother and I seriously remember crying. like SOBBING, when the teasers for their new comeback came out. CrystalDragon211 You should check out BTOB, while it is true that Peniel doesn't get a lot of time to shine, unlike the other members, his personality- well to me- is one of the best in the group. BTOB in general is a really open group, the members aren't really afraid to speak their minds and their all 4D it's a group of 7-4D men who grew up together and are super close, You probably will not like all their songs, I don't, but still I think a groups best qualities shine when the mics are lowered

As a 21 year old guy who is also losing his hair, it is a difficult thing to come to terms with, but being able to accept it and be open like he is provides such an incredible feeling of freedom. I just hope the fans realize that its a genetic condition and that there's really nothing he can do about. So, I hope they keep supporting him ^_~
Sophia Diassuom for my case, i've talked to the dermatologist and we're working on maintaining what I have, but growing new hair is not really a thing. They can really only try and keep what you have.
wangnips I think he only mentioned his dad and father's grandpa, but hair loss usually skips a generation on his mom's side, but im sure the stress is the dominant thing

Eunwoo is so precious. I didn't really like him at first cause he is way too pretty for my like, but god, his personality is just so adorable. The reason I think Eunwoo is able to steal hearts wherever he goes is because his eyes are the complete reflection of every color and every experience that this guy is. I have so much respect for Peniel talking about his hair loss like that. I know many people who dealt with hair loss but it was only once they stopped stressing about it, that their hair showed signs of growing back. It's crazy how some people in S.Korea won't see real counselors (I heard it was taboo and it affects their jobs) but would come on international television to speak on their problems. I'm half-Arab and it's like that here but things are improving albeit at a slow pace. This is how it is for us Asians, our society needs to be more open and understanding to mental issues.
ikr! Whenever someone suggests seeing a counseollor or a therapist, most people would immediately assume you're "crazy" and begin to view you differently and usually, negatively. We really need to be more open-minded.

The last girl doesn't have anorexia but bulimia. Anorexia is a mental issue where the patient looks at their reflection and sees a fat person but bulimia is when you eat and throw up. Bulimia patients also have the added risk of ulcers and even the trachea gets burns and sores and can even get holes from all the acid that comes with womitting too often. This girl needs medial help stat!!! She needs counseling from a psychiatrist stat. I pray she gets help.
Arya K my grandmother had anorexia and like I said its more a mental issue than physical but because they don't see their body as it really is they become emaciated and won't eat. Bulimia is the binge and purge eating. I have a degree in psychology and did my thesis on eating disorders so trust me I know what I am talking about. I think she might have both though as that can happen.

They've had on children complaining about being molested, spouses complaining about domestic abuse, people complaining about their alcoholic friends, and now people complaining about their friends literally dying of bulimia. DRAW THE LINE SOMEWHERE. DON'T EXPLOIT SERIOUS, LIFE-OR-DEATH ISSUES FOR RATINGS. GET A CONSCIENCE. One day there will be a scandal where a guest dies or commits suicide, then the show will be canceled.
I really like this show, i can see how the hosts care about people, but it is also necessary to add a psychologist to their panel, i have seen many eps and some of their cases really needs to get professional aid. Hope the girl from the last case get some real help. Korea sociaty need to understand that having help from a psichologist isnt bad at all, a lot of people may be sufering and not having help just because they are afraid of gossips and what people may think about them. TBH I think he has alopecia areata. As someone who has had, and is still having, hair loss in my teens, I can say that he shows similar conditions as to the ones that I have. Though, the cause for alopecia is unknown...

Agreed... He is mentally abusing her by restraining her freedom and ostracizing her from her entourage... If I had one advise for this poor lady it would be to leave the marriage before the mental abuse turns physical... He seems like a sociopath to me honestly he has all the characteristics: not much emotions shown on his face, being manipulative by always pretending that he loves his wife, being bored easily... Out of all the concerns the second one was the saddest in all honesty. It broke my heart when she says that she has no friend to bring to hello counselor.

The third concern is a classic one for a lot girls - it is clear to me that she has bulimia nervosa. And this concern is a very relatable and personal since I have experienced it as well so I know a lot about this as I read a few books (not an expert though). And to me the line is very clear as to how this has escalated like this. Her friend told us that she used to weigh 63 and lost over 10 kg by only eating apples and porridge which already seems crazy to any normal person - she must have eaten very little and the added restriction of food has made her go crazy both physically and mentally. She is now to a point where her body SCREAMS for food because it has starved for many many days and years, as she is still continuing to put her body through absolute hell. This is why she binges - feeling regret, starving and exercising. And then "the day" comes where she eats and the cycle continues like that because of her mentality. She labels foods "bad" and "good". This is dangerous to do so if you label foods black/white. Your body can handle a cake, your body can handle pasta. I think this comes from the fact that she might be a bit of perfectionist combined with her insecurity and that is a deadly combination. The host says that she will get anorexia .. I don't think she will because the binging will not go away if she keeps doing this. Unless she gets bulimia/anorexia combination which is also plausible.
The 2nd guy represented our society in one or two ways. We thought we love someone, we did what we thought best for them, but actually it's just the way we want -- not necessarily the way they wanted. Communication is key, everyone has their own (different) love language..

It's crazy how some people in S.Korea won't see real counselors (I heard it was taboo and it affects their jobs) but would come on international television to speak on their problems. I'm half-Arab and it's like that here but things are improving albeit at a slow pace. This is how it is for us Asians, our society needs to be more open and understanding to mental issues.

Bulimia patients also have the added risk of ulcers and even the trachea gets burns and sores and can even get holes from all the acid that comes with womitting too often. This girl needs medial help stat!!! She needs counseling from a psychiatrist stat. I pray she gets help.

Bulimia is the binge and purge eating. I have a degree in psychology and did my thesis on eating disorders so trust me I know what I am talking about. I think she might have both though as that can happen.

The third concern is a classic one for a lot girls - it is clear to me that she has bulimia nervosa. And this concern is a very relatable and personal since I have experienced it as well so I know a lot about this as I read a few books (not an expert though). And to me the line is very clear as to how this has escalated like this. Her friend told us that she used to weigh 63 and lost over 10 kg by only eating apples and porridge which already seems crazy to any normal person - she must have eaten very little and the added restriction of food has made her go crazy both physically and mentally. She is now to a point where her body SCREAMS for food because it has starved for many many days and years, as she is still continuing to put her body through absolute hell. This is why she binges - feeling regret, starving and exercising. And then "the day" comes where she eats and the cycle continues like that because of her mentality. She labels foods "bad" and "good". This is dangerous to do so if you label foods black/white. Your body can handle a cake, your body can handle pasta. I think this comes from the fact that she might be a bit of perfectionist combined with her insecurity and that is a deadly combination. The host says that she will get anorexia .. I don't think she will because the binging will not go away if she keeps doing this. Unless she gets bulimia/anorexia combination which is also plausible.
