Playa Pública in Puerto Morelos is one of the best beaches to walk on in the Riviera Maya and the world! We stroll on this virtual walking tour all the way from the industrial dock and the locals’ beach past the muelle municipale and the leaning lighthouse, through the busy hotel beach zone with lots of party people and families to the playa nudista (where everyone had their clothes on) and the national reef park:)

Yes, this was one of our favourite beach walks, and there’s more rain to make it green than in Zihuatanejo! We enjoyed swimming there for a few days at the beginning of the beach area, especially with our son:)

The sargassum was just starting to come in after we shot this video, so the scent was a lovely sea breeze:)
