Great vid! Where is the best area to stay with no car? Is the snorkeling any good off the beach? How does this compare to Cozumel? Thanks!!!

Portside is the area on the water, which is walkable to the beach, and inland on the other side of the lagoon and highway is the main part of town where it’s cheaper to stay if you’re okay riding a bike, or taking a short cab or combi, or walking a ways on foot:) Thanks and you’re welcome!

We hope you’re feeling better, and yes, this was an immersive beach walk to be sure, as it’s often windy in the Yucatan:)

Lovely and thanks for sharing. I’ve been to Mexico four times and plan to visit twice this year. My favorite place to visit is Puerto Morelos. The atmosphere is so relaxing and peaceful. My plan is to retire there in about 4 years. I will be there in June and November to experience the different temperatures. #myretirementjourney

You’re welcome, and that sounds like a lovely plan:) We really enjoyed our time in Puerto Morelos as well, especially the beach area south of the main dock where the locals hang out! Thanks for the view and comment, and have you been to Zihuatanejo?
