Thank you for sharing all your beautiful makes Sarah! Grateful you showed me the length of the Ashton top, I’ve had it printed and ready to go for a while now.
Wow you’ve been busy! 🤩 Your Ashton top looks great and also love your Daphne maxi dress, it’ll be perfect for a December wedding! The reindeer ornament is so cute too, looking forward to seeing any others that you make! ❤️
Thanks Lauren! The boys were very excited by my reindeer ornament - they wanted to put it on the tree immediately, even before I'd hung the lights - so I really would like to get a few more sewn up. It's always nice when things are appreciated and noticed!
Your Nell is a stunner. So gorgeous in that fabric. I’ve made a blouse and two Nell dresses so far but my first blouse was a wearable toile and doesn’t fit as well. Love the fabric of it though, so i will still wear it. What lovely makes of yours. Thank you for the decorations link; they’re so sweet!
Thank you so much! I am glad I could share the decorations link - it's so generous of the designer to be giving away the patterns each day! The Nell is a good pattern isn't it, with lots of fun variations! I do love a v-neck line too, although it's a bit deep for me to wear at school. Mine will be weekend / holiday items only!
@ I teach too. I wear vest tops or long sleeve tops under most clothes anyway so I don’t have to worry about things being too low. I like that they can give a contrast of colour too.
I love your Nell top and I love your honesty. I actually bought the pattern in this Black Friday Sale. I love the sleeves. Your top looks beautiful in the fabric you chose. Omg. You got so much done. Everything is so beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing your vlogmas. ❤❤
Thank you Sarah, great video, and all of your makes and fabric choices are stunning!! You’ve insired me to make the Maisin empire waist dress for the holidays! 👏
Im really enjoying your channel, Sarah which gets better and better all the time. I love all your makes particularly the ideas for Christmas gifts from today and last weeks episode. Great explainations and honest reviews make your channel very authentic - thank you and Merry Christmas to you and your family. xx
Hi Carol, I'm sure you have a much easier time choosing outfits that match together than I do! I need to add a few more plain colours into my wardrobe! 😁
All your makes are amazing! The Frieda fabric dress looks very intensionally empire waist. There are a few patterns available just like that. You will be the bell of the ball at the wedding in your stunning gown. They say that sewing your own clothing doesn't actually save you money... but sometimes it does 😉🤫🤩. Looking forward to Vlogmas. Have a wonderful weekend
I love all your projects! The green dress is my favorite! I have an eco thread that has a stretch, is clear, and can be used on a needle for hand sewing, or used on your machine. I do a running stitch on some of my ready made tops to cinch just a tiny bit for my droopy shoulders! If you’re interested I can look up the brand. I believe it starts with “Eco”, and perhaps is made of recycled material. That might snug up your shoulders without taking it apart! I purchased mine at Hobby Lobby here in the States.
Oh that sounds really interesting and a quicker fix than trying to pick apart the seams to reduce the elastic length - I'll try and look it up - thank you!
So happy you're doing Vlogmas! Your Regency dress is amazing and you look wonderful in it. The Frida Kahlo design is maximized by the pattern you chose... you have a knack for pairing fabric with the appropriate pattern. The felt ornament is adorable! Maybe you can tell your boys that it's a multi-year project!
Thank you so much Peg! The fabric / pattern matching is definitely a skill I've improved on over the years! Yes I think I'll take a few years to get all of the felt ornaments made . ☺️. They were VERY excited to see the first one and hang it on the tree tonight!
Your Lyra dress looks lovely but I agree with you about the length. I have the pattern cut out ready to place on some fabric. I will be adding a couple of inches to the length. Take care.
Thanks Denise! I think if I hadn't reduced the bodice length it wouldn't have been so short! Having said that, though, I lengthened my first one to a midi and love the way it turned out. 😊
Lovely makes..enjoy wearing your summer wardrobe is sorted🌟
Your knitting group looks like so much fun!! And the Lyra looks really great!
It is the loveliest knitting group! Thank you!
You have been a busy little sewing bee. 🧵🧵🧵🧵 🐝 🐝🐝
Gorgeous makes!!! 💖💖💖
Thank you Constance! I have made the most of my free time as much as I could!
Thank you for sharing all your beautiful makes Sarah! Grateful you showed me the length of the Ashton top, I’ve had it printed and ready to go for a while now.
Oh I'm glad it was timely and helpful! 😀 I love my cropped Ashtons but they are really quite cropped. This is a very versatile length I think.
Lyra looks good with sandals in spring/autumn
Yes it's a length that doesn't need heels, luckily! Makes it a bit more versatile.
Ties must be optional! Lovely ❤
Always love your videos. You provide really great feedback on the patterns and fit changes etc. great makes !
Thank you so much Sam!
Love your makes! ❤ Daphnee is a perfect name as it is a nod to Bridgerton and so is the style. 😊
Oh right, I've never actually even watched Bridgerton so I didn't realise that Daphne was a character's name in the show! 😆

Thank you so much Katrina! The sleeves are a lot of fun - I didn't expect to ever try this version but it didn't take me long to change my mind! 😆
Thank you Sarah, great video, and all of your makes and fabric choices are stunning!! You’ve insired me to make the Maisin empire waist dress for the holidays! 👏
Oh that is great! Love hearing that my makes have encouraged others to try the pattern themselves. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful clothes. I love the fabrics you chose.
Thank you very much! I loved all these fabrics too!
Gorgeous green print dress❤❤❤
Thanks Karol! I am very excited to have the occasion to wear it to soon!

That's very kind of you Jeni! I will endeavour to keep my videos short each day and if I have nothing to share, even shorter! 😄
Lovely makes.
Thank you very much! 💕
Always wonderful makes ❤😊
Thank you Karol! I had a good month!
I love all your makes, Sarah 😍 I have a wedding in early January and I think I'll try sewing the Daphne dress. Yours is so beautiful 💗
Thank you so much! Yes, give the Daphne a go - I think it makes the perfect wedding guest dress! I hope you enjoy making yours!
Sarah, I love your choice of colours and fabric designs. I'm never game enough to do that, incase I tire of the print.
Hi Carol, I'm sure you have a much easier time choosing outfits that match together than I do! I need to add a few more plain colours into my wardrobe! 😁
Love all of your makes Sarah, in particular your Nell blouse! Very pretty 😍
Thank you Wendy! I am really happy with how that one turned out!

Hi Sarah
I just watched your video for the first time. I love the makes. Your green dress is really pretty.
I live in Melbourne also in the south east
Oh thank you, Libby, and welcome! I am glad you enjoyed the video!
Great stuff
Thanks Jane!
Your Lyra dress is perfect. I would shorten it in the bodice also. Beautiful fabric.
Thank you very much!!
Your green dress is beautiful 😊
Thank you! I'm very excited to have somewhere to wear it soon!
Sarah, we all made mistakes because we get sidetracked. Everything is lovely.
Thank you!
The second dress is very cute. But if you feel it’s too short you could lengthen it by letting out the hem and maybe facing it.
Thank you! I'll see how I go with it!
