Instant purchase, the work you put into these presets would put anyone else to shame, the only ones I ever use to assist in my own work. Happy to pay full whack as it's so worth it, hope you make a lot off this Jamie and best of luck health-wise for 2024.
I've never had luck with presets but I just bought Presets 6 and I'm impressed. I haven't given up on learning Lightroom, but I've realized that I won't be able to reach the skill level I want anytime soon.
I've been shooting some Kodak Portra 400 with an old analog camera, applying that look to my digital images has been cool. It doesn't work like magic, it can't make bad photos good. But even when the preset doesn't do exactly what I expected it to do, it often gets images to a point where I can use the Lightroom skills I have to get it where I'd like it.
The "tools" are interesting, too. After you apply a preset to achieve a film's color profile, these can do a number of things. The two I've been using include "dull background," and "vignette." I think both use AI masking tools. I know how to do this stuff, but the presets remove several steps. And I can fine tune the masks after the preset gives a starting point.
I'm looking forward to spending some time looking at the changes the presets make, too. It'll help me learn the software better.
I was happy to pay for these and recommend them.
I hope these are a huge success for you Jamie. They look amazing and your channel is TH-cam photography, essential, must see, reference quality content.
aaaand I bought them, not only they are great and well-priced, but I am happy to support you a little after all you've taught me/us all
i was editing some photos with your aerochrome presets and came to check up on your channel legit hours before you dropped this video, the timing is insane. thank you so much for a new pack, i love the looks of all your preset packs and it's clear you put so much thought and work into crafting these! can't wait to try them out
I ordered these as soon as I saw your post. Having purchased all your other presets and use them often, I can’t wait to experiment with your new ones.
I truly hope that you and your family are well and happy. Sending you my best from the west coast of the US in Oregon.
Glad you're doing better, the goat is back!
So nice to see you back in action . Your dedication to your art is lesson in itself.
Jamie, so good to see you’re finding the time and energy to make videos again! I sincerely hope things are looking better for you now.
Got your new preset pack right away. For the price, I think they’re a no-brainer. I was going to stay away from preset packs that use color profiles because I can’t tweak them and use them as a base for creating my own presets (or not that conveniently), but yours look like they’re totally worth trying out. Thanks for all the work you put in! =)
Jamie, you did it again! This is the second pack after the Portra I bought from you. You just never disappoint, man! Great work! I love your creativity and I love your channel! Keep'em videos coming more often 🙂
amazing work, Jamie! I will buy it. I'm still super happy with the older presets! keep up the good work!
These are great. I've just been playing around with them today. I really like that you added the contrast and colour boost. Thank you as always
Well worth the wait. Thanks Jamie.
So great! Love all your other presets, I often use your profiles on my own too.
Absolutely amazing, like the rest of your work. Love your channel.
They look so nice. Great job. Also I really enjoyed how you were using them during the video. I'll get them. Many thanks
Just bought it now. Playing with the halations. Loving it!
Will be buying it ! Incredible work
Magnificent work as per usual Jamie, thank you for another excellent preset pack!
Purchased today! Can't wait to use these! Thanks Jamie :)
Thank you so much Jamie! Inspirational and personal as always. You explain the art part of photography to me better than anyone else ever could. Watching you edit those pictures with your presets made me want to edit my own as well so straight buy for me. As a nice 48th personal birthday present. I've got about 3k of travel shots from sri lanka awaiting selecting and finish editing and I want to see what this will add. The harmonious palettes of your presets look awesome.
Looking forward to the next video.. take care and wishing you awonderful Christmas & newyears with your family and loved ones
Ahh just found this video, so exciting to purchase and try these on my images, your work is very much appreciated Jamie, thank you!
I just picked these up, you make amazing presets! I use the ones from your other packs all the time. I had actually been wondering why I hadn't seen any videos from you recently, I guess I missed a few and youtube stopped recommending them (I just saw the one you made today though - glad you're still making stuff!).
Buying now! Love all your other presets
Thank you.
You are the very best Jamie! Still using the heck out of your halation actions from the CS pack!
Thank you so much for serving the Ultramax 400 !! The complete package looks amazing…can’t wait to try it out.
Great work Jamie. You are the Man! Your presets are a godsend.
Your presets really helps me out specially to me. As a color blind photographer I dread post processing my photos. Thank you!
These are brilliant!
my dear jamie. those color profiles are an absolute game changer. I hated to see myself spend so much time in Lightroom, trying to give my pictures those unique cinematic colors which only analog film could do. it has always been an "almost" - never enough to really satisfy me. until now. I just bought that set, slapped it on one of the pictures with which I struggled so much and BAM - now I have the film look I always wanted, all with less than 5 clicks. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. now I can focus on what we all really love: making beautiful pictures, NOT spending hours in Lightroom! :-D
Loving the Halation action feature in Ps. Merry Christmas Jamie
Merry Christmas to you too.
thanks for keep sharing us something news ❤️❤️
About to get them!!
a wild jamie appears! he's super effective!
purchased straight away really been struggling to achieve this look amazing presets
This is my first ever preset I bought. I am happy with it.
Hi Jamie,
I'm interested in purchasing some of your presets but am confused on which ones I need. I noticed you have multiple preset packs which contain the same look (eg. Lightroom Preset packs 1, 2, 3 and 6 all contain Portra looks but then you also sell a Portra specific pack). Are any of these presets different to each other or are they all exactly the same and just sold in different packs?
As a customer this is quite confusing especially as I haven't previously purchased any presets from you before. Creating an easy to understand breakdown of all of your products would help a lot here and maybe even removing old packs from sale when new iterations have been released.
Thank you!
Hope you’re doing well Jamie. Sending prayers and healing vibes.
You're my lightroom god Jamie ❤
I could hardly wait to run and buy these while I was watching. I use your portra and Kodachrome constantly.
Hello, Jamie.
I'm not one of those people who just buys everything when it comes to presets.
There are many presets offered for free.
However, there is a lot of rubbish in there.
I once bought this set of presets from you.
And now it appears why these are not free.
You have put together a very nice package and I am happy with it.
I also gained a lot of respect for the work you put into it.
You've got another fan, buddy.
I will definitely use this, especially to make more uniform work.
I couldn't do that with the free presets.
Kind regards from the Netherlands,
Antoine.
Finally a reason to legally buy a newer version of Lightroom.
Looks wonderful
would love this for capture one! any way to make C1 versions of these? I prefer c1 raw demosaicing on my fuji cameras.
I love your presets so much! Any chance you'll ever do any for capture one? That would make my day!
Thanks. Maybe one day. But at the moment, it's not a program that I know how to make my presets with. I'd need to get to know it very well and find out what's possible.
I hope you do, I've recently switched over and it's been amazing (specifically your film presets would look so good)
Bought this set when it first came out (I think I have all of your presets) and I love them along with "Haas". One question: do you set the exposure and white balance before OR after you apply the preset. Thanks. And all the best for 2024
I generally set it before, but it doesn't matter at all as the exposure and WB are completely independent to the presets. Whatever you find best fits your workflow.
Hi Jamie! Great! I got almost all your presets ! A quick question: I shoot in the studio mostly and I have been using the Kodak portra presets (those you launched the previous time ) most of the time. Do you think these new presets to be more suitable for my studio work? Thank you again for your magnificent work!
It really depends on what you shoot, how you shoot it, and your personal taste. I'd say you have a little more control with these, but if you're happy with your workflow using my old Portra presets, then there's no reason to buy this one. But you may find that working with the colour profiles helpful. I can't honestly say really.
@@jamiewindsor Thank you Jamie! Yes you are right. I will purchase them though because everything you make is amazing. Thank you again 🙂
The inclusion of "Our Feature Presentation" at the end was pretty neat 😁That music was an ear worm for me last week - prescient? BTW, you look and sound great, Jamie. Did you finally get what you'd been waiting for?🤞
Thanks. The Our Feature Presentation reference is a MOGRT from an upcoming pack. Unfortunately I’m still waiting for a liver. I’m just trying to get on with life as much as I can and put it out of my mind. I still feel healthy enough at the moment. It’ll happen at some point though
@@jamiewindsor Very cool! I look forward to seeing your video on that. Adobe products - AE and PS in particular - have come an insanely long way since I first started with them. Bummed to hear you're still waiting (I myself may eventually be looking at a kidney). I admire your courage, man, and I believe it will indeed happen for you =)
BTW, if you know anyone in Bath with scuba gear I can point you to [what was] a brand new Air 2S. It's sitting at the bottom of the Avon but as I understand it, these things can be revived after sustained periods in fresh water. The drone's yours but I would like the memory card in exchange and of course I will pay the postage. Cheers!
@@cvonp My 77mm ND1000 filter is in there too.
@@jamiewindsor That damn river will eat anything!🤣
I’m new to presets. I want to know if your presets (not just the ones discussed in this video but all others that you have created) work on jpegs or only on raws?
Oh, my. I went to your YT wondering if you had new presets and found this. I’m thrilled someone has tackled Kodachrome with an eye towards keeping good skin tones, something most Kodachrome presets fail at.
Question: will loading the PS Actions for this latest pack interfere with the Actions from your old Cinestill pack?
Hi. No, they will just add a new action folder and both work fine.
Good to know because I sure do love that pack! Thank you.
Hey! Presets are great! Does the "remove grain" suppose to work with all of them? like 35 mm for example
Hi. The 'remove grain' feature removes the grain from the film-emulation itself. The '35mm look' overlay adds its own extra grain, which the 'remove grain' doesn't affect.
@@jamiewindsor when I apply cinestill 800 for example and then use remove grain, it's not removing it, it's just not active. What's wrong I'm doing?
@@thismonday1978 I’m not sure why it’s not working. What program are you using (eg Lightroom mobile etc)?
Ooh! Beautiful! Instabuy. Thank you!
But - how do we use frames?
You just install them like the other presets and they will appear in their own folder in your presets panel. Click each one to cycle through. If you crop after you apply the frame, you will need to re-click the frame to reset it to the new crop. Delete it off your image by opening the masks panels and finding it in there.
2nd to comment
hope you feeling good jamie, love your vids
i use your filters on all my pic ever since I bought
I'm personally not a fan of the "selling presets" trend... (since most people just repackage old vsco/mastin sets) but... these are different... good job! the presets give you lots of room to tweak things contrast-wise (since most of the effect comes from the colour profile). I've only tested them on a couple of images. I'll edit this comment if anything else is worth saying, but over-all, worth the purchase.
That were an instant buy. I've got 2 or 3 earlier packs and they are the best I've own so far. Upload this pack directly to the phone in LR mobile and it really is as good as I expected and more.
One thing that is a bit strange, and maybe you know why, is that I can't use the action Dull Background in the mobile app. Is that because I uploaded the files direct to the phone and not via the desktop version of Lightroom CC?
Thanks on before hand and thank you for speeding up my time editing with these beautiful emulations.
Hi. I'm glad you like them. I don't know why the dull background isn't working for you on the mobile app. It should work fine. It's difficult to know what's happening as I can't replicate the problem my end.
@@jamiewindsor Do you think the problem can be that I uploaded the file directly to the phone, not via the desktop version? I use Android, if that helps?
Will try to upload through the desktop version in a couple of days and get back to you if that will fix the problem.
@@Leondrian Maybe. I didn't even know you could upload directly to the phone.
we miss you, Jamie!
I'm just finishing up editing a new video. It would be out by now, but I got hit with a really nasty virus that knocked me out for 6 weeks! Watch this space…
how does the first four 35mmlook work?
do these add faux grain as well? Or just capturing the color and tonality it was hard to tell watching on my phone.
They add some very minimal grain. That’s what the Remove Grain preset is for. Lightroom is very limited when it comes to grain as you can’t change the amount based on the size of the image. In today’s world where some people are shooting on 102MP Fuji cameras and some on 12MP Canons and Sonys, grain has a very different effect on the images. For this reason, I decided to use the 35mm looks to add most of the grain, and the user can adjust the intensity to their specifications. However, there is a small amount of grain applied by each preset itself otherwise it just looked a bit too digital on some cameras.
@@jamiewindsor that makes sense. thanks!
Would you ever consider making presets for Capture One?
Was going to buy your pack but notice the same stimulations in the different packs. Is this the case?
No. Every preset I sell is different. Some of the same film stocks are emulated, but the results are different.
Thank you!! Will place order
ordered!! Yay!! Keep up the great work, you are one of the best artists of our times. Best regards and wishes in the upcoming new year
@Jamie Windsor - Do these new profile/presets also suffer from posterisation like the 3.1 Kodachrome do? Didn't get to play a lot with them, but out of the box there's ugly banding/pixelation in the skies. All on X-T5 images (in morning summer light by the sea...)
This is news to me. I own an X-T5 and have never had an issue like this. Are you using them on compressed JPEGs? Can you send me some examples?
@@jamiewindsor I only shoot raw (and process in LR). Where could I send some examples? I'll browse more instances /conditions (Canon R5, X-T30II, GR 3, Canon R and different weather). So far it's the Kodachrome 1974 only that's manifesting this.
@@mariusnicula7541 Go to my website jamiewindsor.com and contact me through there. I'll reply and you can then send me some files.
Will all Canon images look washed out and require the color boost when using these presets? Not sure I understood that bit completely.
It’s only the images from the R series. They rely on Canon’s in-built profile to add a lot of saturation so when I switch those out for the bespoke ones, sometimes the canon images need a bit of a saturation boost (and some other minor tweaks).
Gotcha, thank you!@@jamiewindsor
How is no one talking about how INSANE this preset pack is??????
I'm getting it sectioned.
I already own all the previous ones, no discount for 6 for existing customers? They look outstanding.
I’d like to do something like that, but Sellfy doesn’t have an option for it. My best attempt at something similar is making the bundle pack with 20% off. I might see if I can talk to Sellfy about it. I’d also like to send updates to existing customers. Occasionally I refined or improve a preset and I update the pack, but it would be nice for the people who bought it before to have that update.
Went ahead and ordered anyway
I didnt realize you could stack the luts in CC , my question is how do you remove them?
It’s a bit of a hack workaround, but you can create presets that only add masks, and the mask layers can be set to apply to the whole image. All the extras are made on mask layers. You don’t get all the controls you get with the main preset, but there’s enough control now to do most things you might want.
You can remove them by deleting the individual mask layers or by just switching them off and on.
@@jamiewindsor Just purchased your pro looks. Thanks, Im tired of shooting film😂
Make this pack for Capture One! I’m begging ❤
Awesome outro screen 😂
Thanks. That’s actually a MOGRT from a new pack I’m making at the moment.
@@jamiewindsor look forward to that. I also have to say your attention to detail with the graphics/animations on the screenshots describing the download process is meticulous and must take a long time to get right! Thanks again. I have the presets and have had a little play. More subtle than your previous packs and a really useful addition…

I can't seem to get the Cinestill 800T preset working on either Lightroom CC or Classic. Anyone else?
What's happening?
@@jamiewindsor restarted LR and now I can see the effect. For some reason wasn’t loading at first but seems like issue with my machine. Great work on the set!
I live in the US, whats the price in USD..?
It will change depending on the exchange rate. If you start the checkout process, it will update into USD before you need to commit to purchasing anything.
Just brought it, works perfectly on desktop but I can’t import it to mobile. Anyone could help please? IOS user
Did you watch the tutorial on how to import it to the mobile app?
@@jamiewindsor I did, there is no option to import presets on Lightroom IOS (at least not in the IPhone 15) but it worked on my old Samsung.
@@kelvinbott1615 Yeah, you have to import them via the desktop app and they should sync to your phone. If you watch the video, it’s all explained in it.
@@jamiewindsor done that, it didn’t sync for some reason.
@@kelvinbott1615 It can take a while sometimes. It seems to promote syncing catalogues of images over presets. If you’ve waited a while and they’re not syncing, I’d contact Adobe. They’re probably better set up to help you with this than me.
you've added Porra 160 400 and 800 but you have these in various other packs. If they weren't right the first time, why are you still selling them?
They’re not ‘wrong’, just different.

Cannon is used by more top professionals than any other…including me (minus the top professional), yes they have a very neutral appearance yet that allows for a whole incredible range of different skills in the studio to be utilized and a very neutral way of shooting live capture, it also helps in post processing with versatility, you don’t have to “correct” anything before proceeding. I’d like to get a Fuji film medium format though and a Sony for street photography
Or You can just use Capture One and got full control over color.
