Sudesh Bhosle said in one interview kishore kumar is his Guru even when it comes to mimicry. The thing is if kishore wanted he could have mimicked exactly like the actors he is singing playback for. But he always kept some originality of his own voice otherwise people would forget him and typecast him into a mimicry singer like what people did to Sudesh ji.

Nobody in this world can give that divinely voice and outwordly heavenly effect of that great divinely down to earth humble personality devine man Mohammed Rafi sahab if someone tries to sing a song sang by Mohammad Rafi Sahab will be badly exposed my advice to all the singers please don't try this mis adventure please go and sing Kishore Kumar's manna day's Mukesh's song they were having ordinary voices and range.. when Rafi Sahab sang the lip movement body language and facial expressions were of Rafi Sahab's but the original singer was the all mighty God who was In the heart of that great personnality Mohammad Rafi Sahab .
How long has he been around? I remembered listening to an audio cassette of all the actors on a picnic, their voices mimicked by him , if I am right .I don't really know maybe 20 years back.I remember only Ajit's voice.( singing kabutar ja ja ja and then he shoots the kabutar saying you must go kabutar.)
