I love the editing at the beginning. Using the audio from the in game conversations as background rather than the sometimes awkward camera angles 👌🏾 👍🏾
@@ryconroleplays it’s a double edged sword. There’s soooo much dialogue! If they cut to cinematic angles in every conversation we’d be complaining about that same as the load screens. It’s gonna be up to your creativity. Speaking of… what about flashbacks to previous conversations as internal dialogue during action sequences? I think that would be a nice touch too.
@unknowel6174 they could just not lock the camera on a zoomed-in-the-face and allow the player to keep moving during conversation and it would be already something. A mod will do that soon I'm sure
I don't recall stealing a single thing when I got picked up by the Vigilance- but the Crimson Fleet storyline is indeed a lot of fun... and it pays well in the end. I'm looking forward to seeing when and how Wyatt decides to upgrade the Frontier of build a new personal ship from scratch.
Just a technicality. You can literally get picked up for anything. I got pulled into this quest line because I had some aurora on my ship and forgot about it then got scanned.

I've been watching each episode as they come out, just haven't been able to comment on them because my husband and I have been watching them together on our Fire TV. But I always feel bad that I'm not liking or commenting on them, so here I am! I think this was my favorite episode so far. It might be because I haven't done this quest yet, so I didn't know what was going to happen. But I think it's also because I love your role playing so much. I thought it was hilarious how grumpy Wyatt was the whole time he was on the UC ship, and all the guards were like "howdy!" and Wyatt's like "hi." Made me laugh out loud. Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to the next one!
I just started this quest just a short time ago today, but I started as a UC Vanguard volunteer. So this take is different as a busted smuggler.... enjoy!
Guess I never did the right bit of crime for this quest to start in my game so this will be extra interesting to see how Captain Wyatt toughs his way through
That dude doing that 'look at you, look at the screen, look at you... look at the screen (ad nouseum). It's like he was doing a criminal face drawing, or checking you against one. lulz. It was a *TAD* distracting.
The tone of the least beat in this episode doesn't land because Sarah is not a grounded, believable character. In response, Wyatt's neither fish nor foul. He's so good at everything he can be anything, which means nothing. Character issues like these arise because BGS was not able to focus the game around the theme of exploring a genuine unknown. In my view, I can see the protagonist in a Starfield role play as being more of a Chris McCandless-type character--an earnest, high-achieving college humanities graduate who gives everything away his wealthy father gave him to journey the galaxy to find what's inspired him all his life. He's idealistic and way over his head--and gets far more than he bargained for and it almost does him in. IRL, his naive adventuring kills him, but I can also see him ending up working in a mine on Vectera. While he joins Constellation, he's more intense than they are, thinking they're dilletantes and they don't understand a lot he says. I can see a role-play like this working because the protagonist can now respond appropriately to everyone around him: "Get a grip guys, the reality here is you're not seeing the real threat before you."
I've speed watched a lot of your episodes, but do you think you would be willing to turn on subtitles? It's okay if you would rather not, but it would make it somewhat easier to follow.

God the camera angles are just the worst. I was really hoping Beth would move to something a little more in world ala Cyberpunk
