You don't have winter in California. That's both a blessing and a curse. Here in Canada where I live, the temperature this morning was -44 degrees with the wind chill. Exposed flesh freezes in seconds. Obviously we don't have homeless encampments in the winter here, whereas you have a plague of them.

What is your guess of how many vehicles are in that park? It is astonishing to me, and I am so glad there is a decent place for them, and I hope they have water and bathroom facilities there.

There is a place I would like to sujest to you and the place would be over by the children's Discovery museum. If you go to the back of the museum and across the street there is a bike trail and there is homeless down the trail, but in order to see to the camps the best way you should take the to the trail on the right. There is parking lot and the camps start after the parking lot, and also there is another encampment across on the other side of the river called t the shelves. In order to see the shelves good you should be on the opposite side of the shelves cause that encampment is up some Rocky steps and you can't really see it if you take the trail on that side. And if you go down the side of the trail by the parking lot there is camps down the trial until you get to Virginia Rd.
