In Sama of the sun these motes are like [Whirling] Sufis
no one knows to what lyric, to what rhythm, to what instrument
In every heart there is a unique rhythm and song
dancers are visible and [yet] the minstrels hidden as secrets
[The dance] inside us, is more exalted than all our Sama
our specks dancing within Her* in a hundred kinds of glory and pride
*In the Persian language there are no gendered pronouns. We use او for he/she/they/it. In translating Persian Poetry I use she/her because that's the pronoun of 𝒎𝒆 and my 𝑩𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅. You can read them as any other pronoun you prefer.
در سماع آفتاب این ذرهها چون صوفیان
کس نداند بر چه قولی بر چه ضربی بر چه ساز
اندرون هر دلی خود نغمه و ضربی دگر
پای کوبان آشکار و مطربان پنهان چو راز
