@@taurock96 Wait, hear me out. If Bowser cares about his family and protected them from the Death Egg, and Eggman abandoned HIS family, treats his empire (minus Sage) like scraps as a turbo loner and tricked the Koopa King... then technically he's more evil, right?

@@marcusyates3044 Well, I'd say Eggman and Bowser are two sides of a same evil coin: one of too much chaos and too much order.
Bowser is closer to a pirate, going around the world with his crew and stealing whatever they want when they want (hell, his armada is made of LITERAL FLYING BOATS) because no one can tell them what to do, which can lead to some pretty selfish and evil deeds. Spoiling Junior like Bowser does can be seen as a form of neglect. And obsessing unhealthily on a single woman and constantly bullying other kingdoms instead of choosing peace is pretty evil. (And family speaking: again, he keeps a reanimated corpse of his "family friend" in his dungeons to puppet around for Mario Parties. Bowser is his own league of F-ed up.)
Eggman on the other hand, is straight up a tyrant, crushing free will for absolute order and leaving only room for him and those he cares about. So naturally, all the bad stuff come from him and him alone. So it can absolutely be seen as more evil to some (And it's me, I'm definetely some). But he's also been willing to work with humans to take out larger threats, like Metal Overlord, The End, etc...) and he can be pretty relatable. I mean, as an autistic introvert, I'd absolutely go for a simpler world that can be run with a simple button and from the comfort of my chair. And I'm sure if Bowser got his hands on the Metal Virus or the Time Eater, he'd definetely use that shit on the mushroom kingdom.
And remember, from Eggman's POV, it's his family that abandonned HIM first by focusing on Maria.
I'd say Bowser is more sympathetic overall because of that free-natured spirit, but I wouldn't let him off the hook and say he's "less evil" than Eggman.

To tack onto that, he did use it in Dream Team, so it’s still in there somewhere

In Paper Jam, he uses Inhale in his secret Boss fight as Dry Bowser.
One thing I noticed on a rewatch was that the Death Egg Robot was a combination of the Movie and Game version. It had the overall build of the movie whilst having the hands and color scheme of the games.
So, it's a chaotic pirate versus a corrupted marine, I just put it together!

- And that was a NORMAL Yoshi who did that. Star Child Yoshi would be stronger than that!
- I should note that Bowser, Mario, and Peach have lasted against Culex 3D, who, with his new third dimension, gained the power to "consume all time and space" (similarly to Solaris and Time Eater). Yeah, they were in a team of five at the time, but so was Culex with his 3D Crystals - each one potent enough to fully restore his new power. And hey, invincibility power-ups are completely optional for this!
- "No wife" while showing Sonic Adventure 2 footage. As usual, they know what they're doing.
- Infinite is confirmed alive (though left to question his existence). Still, he got whipped even faster than Michelangelo did.
- "HOW DARE YOU! KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY SOOOOOOOON!!!" Chills. Every. Time.
- Started with plywood, ended with plywood. Also, did you hear all those 1-Up sounds during the coin rain? Seems the Koopa Troop's casualties are pretty much nullified.
- The implication that Orbot and Cubot had the upper hand on the Elite Trio is still hilarious.
- Hoping we can see more of those Alternate Scenarios. Helps to show bonus stuff that couldn't fit into the fight animation proper.
- By the way, considering Peach has the power to overwhelm the Dream Stone, I SERIOUSLY question how Zelda could possibly get the most wins, even with the full Triforce.
(Should note that there are some things that Zelda and Peach can't do by their lonesomes, like echoes (which are made by Tri) and Sparkle roles (granted by Stella). But even then, Peach has a variety of magic skills AND power-ups on her side.)

I was so wanting eggman to win, and at the end I wasn't even mad, because that animation was so PEAK
Such a great episode easily Top 3 favorite Death Battles of ALL TIME for me! Song is a banger, Fight proves Moro is a MAD LAD but a MAD GENIUS, Research done well, Alternate Scenarios were a GREAT touch, and VA's KILLED it! That next time threw me for a loop! Super Neo Metal Sonic made the mistake hurting a father's son and sealed Dr.Eggman fate
He made 2 mistakes, one was not finishing off Bowser when he was down and the other was not finishing off Junior since his spells ultimately gave Bowser the edge he needed at the end.
Seriously, making bowser mad by hurting his son would be a giant nightmare for any hero or other villain trying to stop bowser
He was already in hot water for trying to kill Kamek. That's Bowser's surrogate dad, let's remember. Attacking Junior absolutely sealed his fate, though.

I think these "alternate scenarios" are deleted scenes that didn't make it into the actual fight.
I actually just asked MORO on Twitter and turns out : Nope ! These were supplements asked to be added by the animator himself because he just wanted to make them ! The lad is a mad one

I feel like the beginning of the battle could be even better if cubot was actually holding a catfish, either a real catfish or a cheepcheep with the cat power-up, Idk but I can see Cubot doing that because of it being called operation catfish.
