... Do yall have any idea how difficult those are to remove and put back on and the shape of the pool and fact all the leafs fall in when you take it off and that a good one that will last years cost thousands and even then they need to be cleaned regularly. What they need is a good pool man and to trim their damn trees once in a while.
You gotta wonder how much money they've got burning a hole in their pocket to NOT care that they're paying someone to come out twice a week to clean the damn thing. I can't imagine an amount of money that would make me take the route of "someone else will do it" rather than "I should combat this issue".
There's a leaf net cover you can put on top of the pool for when it's not in use during the week. You can easily remove it when you want to go for a swim.
@@QuadDawgg you bill em after 45 minutes per bag and if it could been blow away or mostly avoided they get a nice text as well. but either way this is easy money. texas pool boy here ive regularly gotten 8 32 gallon bags out a pool ill punch holes in the bags too and squish them down easily over a hundred maybe more pounds leaves .
I am in Texas as well. I own Aqua King Pool & Spa I have a few accounts like this but I typically keep newer pools that are free of trees (crape myrtles specifically) and excessive landscape. Accounts that look like this pay extra or they will have to find someone else to service their pool. Hope you guys are staying hydrated out here!
You know they make nets that prevent kids from falling in the pool. I believe on the commercial they show an elephant standing on it without breaking through. My mother had an inground pool on the farm they had and the horses would periodically get out and I can tell you that that net although not a solar cover that would make the water warmer it will hold two fully grown horses standing over 16 hands each. She would keep it on because there were lots of trees around the house & pool. The cover would keep all of the debris out of the pool. She would just run a leaf blower over it before she opened it up when anyone wanted to swim. (Anyone living on a farm understands why there's always trees around the house. Old farmhouses typically do not have central air/heat and that shade keeps the house cool in the summer. And it also keeps the wood pile from getting too wet during the rain or covered in too much snow since heating is done with a wood stove)
Been a pooltech/cleaner for about 4 years now and all of it mostly comes down to the landscaping around pools and the weather that messes them up bad. I have plenty of pools during the week i spend 35 plus minutes at cause they look similar to this mess of a monster pool!
Hey man, me and my dad's friend pretty much just started a pool company and we're at 73 pools with just me and him what is a normal amount of pools you're doing a day if you don't mind me asking. Also how long is your root because we're ending up with like some 100 mi days because i live in Houston? Thank you in advance if you answer
@@kilovwdude6457Usually I do 80 pools a week ,15 a day typically, 17 to 20 busy days but i’m the same area , start around 7:30 and get out around 12-1pm
I take before and after pics…I’ve been doing pools since 1985….gotta adjust the price to make it worth your time, I’ve cancelled many pools due to poor conditions at customers houses…
They build electric covers they roll right out. Back when I was about 15 I helped a friend build pool covers that you push your button and then slide back lift up and make a shade cover on each side of the pool aluminum frame with fiberglass I've never seen one after I quit working for him they were awesome
It's called a leaf eater. U use with a pole & Ur h2o hose. It has a net that catches the leaves that r blown up into it. Not only easier, but a whole lot quicker
So first you need a landscaper way before a pool cleaner!! Lol Also use a leaf bagger. Water tech makes a cordless one but the handy leaf master has better pressure. Or get a guy that own a rip tide to get them all out. That pool is not even usable!! Also lower water level and run several full skim cycles per day. They make a return side leaf bagger as well which could help. I would not have that pool on service like it stands though.
1- Remove any tree limbs that go over the pool or patio. 2- Get a couple of devices called PoolSkim or anything similar to it. It attaches to the pool return eyeballs. 3- Get an automatic pool cleaner and an in-line leaf basket that connects to the vacuum line.
They need to replace the landscaping that drops all the leaves. We did that with our pool. Now the pool sweep easily keeps up with the minimal debris. So much nicer.
Yup been there and I hate it if it becomes a problem don’t be hesitant to drop that account the time spent there doing basic cleaning you could of done 3 more Pools
Whyyyyy ..... oooo lets put tress right next to the pool lmaooo .... like what did u think was going to happen. Do so gravel like clear quarts, fary lights and some glowing lawn art.... boom u got a relaxing spa at night and no leafs in ur pool❤
I mean if your a pool guy then i would praise the owner for having such a beautiful private backyard oasis! And if im seeing that pool 4 times a month, he would get the best cleaning services because he is keeping money in the pockets. Sound happy
A Betta plus pool skimmer would definitely help because the plus has plug-in charging capabilities so it can run longer than a regular Betta. Also a robot is must for this type of setup.
Had a customer like this on my service route when I was doing pools. Had two guys coming out to clean each week, although we each worked until we both filled the green trash bin it would still have leaves left at the bottom. The company I worked for tried to cancel their service and set them up with an independent technician, but eventually that guy got overwhelmed and they had to get two service days. Some people are stubborn and aren't willing to cut back on the vegetation.
@StonedBarbiee With a pool like this, I could do 2 pools in the same amount of time that aren't trashers and make more money. Hardly a poor business man, wouldn't you say?
Have you thought about having a screened in pool? Keeps critters from drowning and keeps out mosquitoes. You will be able to cut way back on pool service too.
yeah thats not even bad, try opening pools in Ontario Canada, open the pool cover in spring and the pool is literally black...... Black, then the customer tells you they were hoping to use yhe pool this weekend..😂😂 .. Its midday Friday and you have to break it to them that monday/Wednesday would be more practical for them actually getting to use the pool.. Man i dont miss that job
My process for this would be - Empty skimmers (makes room for more debris to get sucked in while doing rest of the cleaning) - Brush everything (pushes anything on the wall or floor more towards the middle. Some debris from top will start sinking or sucked in by skimmer) - If needed - backwash (or skip this step if not needed) - Check chems (gives time for any debris to settle) - add chems if on hand or go get them - go get vacuum and start vacuuming
My process would be, drop service. You can't brush because all of it will stir, you can vacuum it and still struggle no matter how big the skimmer it will not get all of it. You can sell them a walker vacuum and even that won't solve the problem. Get it screened in or find someone else. Done
I'm in the bizz and pool cleaners rarely have all the wier doors in the skimmers, it's unbelievable the difference if they're in, the water level is correct and pool circulation is banging on all eight cylinders.
I would suggest investing in some pool covers I'd hate to look out my patio and having my morning coffee and see that mess in my poolevery single week.....
Remove the leaf dropping plants/trees, replace them with non leaf dropping, and invest in a Beta pool surface skimmer (works like Roomba for the pool).
They could cut back to one pool cleaner a week if they invested in a pool cover, they make nice auto ones these days where you just press a button to put it on. It would make life so much easier lol
To make it easier get the gator and get their large 40" net. Also get a hammer head. Charge $1000 a month 3x a week. If they want it spotless each visit $1200
Log the pool it might need a fence around it or may have to build a cage so it doesn't get that dirty or maybe wanna think about trimming a little bit more some of the plants
Put a pool cover on it when not in use. It might seem like an inconvenience. But it's definitely more of an inconvenience to do this evey week. And it's costing you more money. Just my suggestion.😊
Well if they rake out the flower beds and under the shubs it might help. I would be trimming back a bunch of stuff. But a lot of people over plant and then when it grows out you have a jungle.
They need to get a really good vacuum for their Pool. I have one and it vacuums up everything any kind of leaves. If they're? Using. The pool? All the. Time? Then? They don't? Need A. Cover? But if they're not using it I would definitely have a cover over it.. I would never remove the trees..
I feel you….it’s one of those situations where as you’re removing leaves, more is falling in…I hope you are charging accordingly or you are paying for such a PIA pool…
I would definitely invest in some pool covers! 😬
Right, where's the logic for that placement 😅
It’s weird, I too know they definitely make those…yet he’s here whining instead..
Exactly why pay for a cleaning 3x a week when you can just buy a cover

1. INVEST IN A POOL COVER

How about a pool cover/ screen?
As a pool tech I’d hate this pool😂😂 have to dump my hammer head a million times

Twice a week service, does it look this bad every time?

You’ll be surprised especially with ask those trees around and if they have landscapers they usually blow it into the pools lol
If you add a retractable pool shield, usually made from acrylic- problem solved… it quite expensive depending where your pool is located 😊
