Art is for everyone and art is history. There is no point in destroying art even if it evokes bad memories in someone. In Estonia, we have a saying: "One who does not remember the past lives without a future."
USA can officially restrict use of Spanish, Europe can ban Islam with same excuse. If such ideas are considered too far, so actions of Latvia and Estonia should be too.
USA hasn't restricted the us of Spanish. Spanish is embraced throughout the states. Bilingual or trilingual is highly encouraged in America. The Baltic state countries have been doing a lot legally to restrict the use of Russian language within their borders.
