You have so many subscribers because you provide a street view of each country you visit. You don't stay at resorts, you eat at local resteraunt s, and you walk and use local transportation rather than booking \ tours

Thank you for the update. I'm looking forward to the next year's videos. I am a govt. retiree living near St. Louis, Mo. Never travelled to Asia, mostly traveled to England and Germany. My hobby is genealogy and all of my roots go back to Germany. Went to visit the villages of my immigrants (came to USA in 1852/3) in 2016 and 2017. Stayed on a farm of distant relatives, and hope to go back someday. Health issues in my family prevent future travel for now. I enjoy watching your videos as a hobby along with many ex-pat channels like notime2bsad and "Thai girl Gift and Foreigner Joe". It is good clean entertainment and educational. Keep up the good productions.

All countries in Southeast Asia It is beautiful and has its own identity. There are many cultures such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Laos, and Myanmar that may not be safe because of war. But Myanmar has a beautiful culture. The only country I don't recommend is Cambodia. You may have heard of Cambodia's negative reputation from fellow travelers.

There you go!!! Philippines is d best country to be your base….everyone speaks good English, it’s so easy to get and extend visa, you have 7 thousand islands to choose where you want to go, food and accommodation are cheap, etc….

Hello guys! I was revisiting your videos now and glad to see you guys doing well. If you are going to visit Europe again, maybe you can also make health visits in the meantime. Don't get me wrong, but I think Luke needs to visit the dentist a bit. The healthcare sector in Türkiye is both very developed and more affordable than most of the European countries. I would say keep this in mind.^^

But I have unfortunately developed severe food allergies, so I have to stay home now to strictly control my diet. I miss Kamakura(Japan) and Penang (Malaysia) so much!! I have been following you guys since your NALU days. First video was when you were in Albania and I was in Durres, Albania. Ive since been to Turin, Italy (3 months), North Cyprus (3 months), Portugal (3 months), Georgia, the country (4 months), Zagreb, Croatia, (3 months), Tirana, Albania (3 months), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (4 months). heading to Guadaloupe in april. Hopefully POLAND in July!
I will continue to dream of my next destination, much like you are!

If you plan to go to Philippines and explore the Visayas region, I would suggest doing your journey this way: Boracay Island -> from there head over to Panay Island then take a bus to -> Iloilo City (City of Love and also the food capital of the Philippines that recently got the title for UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy) - from there you could do a sidetrip to Guimaras (The Sweet Mango Island) or go to Negros Island where you'll find -> Bacolod City (City of Smiles and also a foodie paradise) then you can either take a bus or van down to Dumaguete (City of Gentle People and also a city surrounded by great diving spots like Apo Island) then either go to Siquijor Island or Cebu Island (this one is already famous so no need for me to explainl) then afterwards you can proceed to Bohol Island (Nature is spectacular here) then proceed to Camiguin Island (Island born of Fire) and finally head over to Surigao then to Siargao Island (the fave of digital nomads). In between Camiguin and Siargao is Dianagat Island (this is a hidden gem by the way with some places comparable to Palawan's though not as developed as the others). Technically Camiguin and Siargao are already part of Mindanao but I would still include them on this list.

The visa situation gets in the way globally for so many things. As you say Thailand is fine if you are over 50 which both of us are, but now it's taxation policy has changed, that is a consideration.
But even that, Thailand is one of the few with a 50 year old age. Some are higher than that, and many countries require you to be a pensioner, which is quite stupid actually because the permits are for a year at a time, and quite honestly lots of people have non work income that exceeds a pension income and is provable. The best option is a business visa option if it exists and the capital requirements are low.
Otherwise, you are stuck being nomads bouncing around. You do at least, avoid the tax consequences.
Sorry we are only seeing this now! Yeah, that is certainly very true. It is a tough decision to make for sure and getting everything in line for a country you might not even be sure of yet too could be a mistake also... Have to just keep travelling and we are sure we will find a place soon.

The system is not designed for people to leave their countries and take off to other ones. You'll figure that out pretty quick.
@@JayandSarah Yes unfortunately we have already ran into so many problems that keep us limited. It’s really maddening to see how the structure of modern societies is so heavily built against freely moving around the world 🌎 We are permanently handling things like banking issues, identity issues, taxation issues etc. Certainly a headache! 😆
@@TwoMadExplorers we are a world of countries and when you are nomadically going around, you kind of belong to nobody but you are paying taxes somewhere.. someone owns you. And to disconnect and try to do something else... good luck. Seriously, I feel for you guys... it's either a life of keep moving around or... what? At some point you need to be putting money into a pension or get nothing... and you can't just bumble about and claim to live nowhere for life. Well, you can.. but..
that has it's own issues!

@@TwoMadExplorers it's ok because the people that live in rubbish Dumps know they live in rubbish Dumps, that's why their cross oceans and seas on boats to get to Europe or cross other countries to get to America, or over stay their visas and live in countries illegally, just look at how many countries are getting flooded with immigrants getting away from rubbish dump countries
