Base Kevin would still beat literally every flamechaser. Kosma says he can at best hold Kevin off for a while, elysia is equal to or a bit weaker than Kevin, and she beats kalpas, and psychic mantises aren’t very good at combat so Kevin would demolish Aponia. Really only herrscher elysia would beat base Kevin outright
Herrscher Ely has a chance to win Kevin's final form as well. When she says "I am a bit weaker" doesn't mean she is weaker than his base form. They all have few forms to show like ICHOR form etc., so Elysia in her final form is slightly weaker than Kevin in his. Prometheus is weaker than the original herrscher of the end. It's more like a copy if we wanna over simplify it. Same with Kevin, he just has the authority, not the true powers. It's like the case with otto, he wasn't the herrscher of binding, he wasn't even as strong as HoB, but he has the authority.
Oh, Otto was strong. Nagamitsu admits it when she says that she was ordered by Otto to tell Kiana his only weakness, void renormalization. If he wasn't killed, he'd have turned back time by 500 years. He essentially has infinite energy, because of his tree connection, but his body limits his output. Even then, the only way to actually kill him is through renormalizing his authority.
I mean, if he truly used HoB's ability to fight intelligently, he could easily have killed the main cast. He simply wanted to lose. Instead of putting up the Binding barrier, just wait till they all get in first then activate it so they lose all their power. He wanted them to overcome it, so he did go easy on them in certain aspects
Well... yes and no... You see the way the Final Herrscher works is that she will always descend stronger than the civilization that she is currently facing. It's how Honkai works. Kevin in CE may have surpassed her initial level of power from PE, but had she returned in CE, Kevin wouldn't have stood a chance. He knew this very well, which is why he chose Project Stigma over a direct fight against her. Remember, HoTE is a literal god with the Cocoon itself as her power source. Kevin isn't able to handle the authority of Finality very well without the need to continually heal himself from it's effects on his body. HoTE doesn't have this problem because she owns the authority and had it by default. Kevin can die, she can't. She is effectively immortal as long as she has the Cocoon. So it's still, Kevin < HoTE

Knowing this, Kevin needed to find a way to transcend Finality, otherwise humanity would be screwed once again. I think he knows. All Kevin needs is a little of her power, and he was already a god slayer.....this man is nigh unstoppable with the exception of WoH and HoTE herself. I'm not counting the trio because he was holding back, and they all needed help from Ai and us players. If he was serious, they would be dead, and in a 1v1, he destroys them with ease.

If he actually wanted them dead, he would have killed them before they all got their new Herrscher forms. Kevin is a beast, and 1v1 he would destroy any one of them with ease. Even as a group, Kevin would end up winning mid diff.

@@-ne1qt I feel like there's tons of headcanons here, kevin only has the authority of time, everything else he doesn't possess since he wasn't selected by the cocoon itself, he just hijacked it with the help of project stigma weaving the threads of finality + the backdoor prometheus left. moreover kevin has never made a full blown direct contact with the tree itself. otto did after the renormalization and become a true transcendent being for a period of time, which allowed him to rewrite and create a different branch in the tree. kevin's entire range is literally just at the solar system based on how much the authority of time resets the universe/solar system. Otto as long as he is connected to the tree cannot be severed or die it's even worse than kevins regeneration as you cannot even erase otto from existence because of his connection to the tree itself.
moreover kevin and otto have the same power spike confirmed by Dr. MEI and prometheus. the only problem is he's just an eternal body controlled by the tree of imaginary numbers.

Prometheus is weaker than the original herrscher of the end. It's more like a copy if we wanna over simplify it. Same with Kevin, he just has the authority, not the true powers. It's like the case with otto, he wasn't the herrscher of binding, he wasn't even as strong as HoB, but he has the authority.
Oh, Otto was strong. Nagamitsu admits it when she says that she was ordered by Otto to tell Kiana his only weakness, void renormalization.
If he wasn't killed, he'd have turned back time by 500 years.
He essentially has infinite energy, because of his tree connection, but his body limits his output. Even then, the only way to actually kill him is through renormalizing his authority.

Well... yes and no... You see the way the Final Herrscher works is that she will always descend stronger than the civilization that she is currently facing. It's how Honkai works. Kevin in CE may have surpassed her initial level of power from PE, but had she returned in CE, Kevin wouldn't have stood a chance. He knew this very well, which is why he chose Project Stigma over a direct fight against her. Remember, HoTE is a literal god with the Cocoon itself as her power source. Kevin isn't able to handle the authority of Finality very well without the need to continually heal himself from it's effects on his body. HoTE doesn't have this problem because she owns the authority and had it by default. Kevin can die, she can't. She is effectively immortal as long as she has the Cocoon. So it's still, Kevin < HoTE

Had it not been for the project, she would have descended. It is BECAUSE of the project that he surpassed her initial level of power in PE. If she were to return in CE, her level of power would naturally be greater than it was in PE. That's how Honkai functions. Knowing this, Kevin needed to find a way to transcend Finality, otherwise humanity would be screwed once again. Because Kiana became the new HoFi, the old one had no reason to return again, saving everyone from destruction. Not to mention, Kevin would end up dying slowly over time using the authority, while HoTE would not. So, the fight could never happen to begin with because in every scenario, she would always win. The point is, although more powerful, that doesn't mean much for an actual fight with her, as she would return in a state more powerful than her previous one. The Cocoon created her to specifically be just powerful enough to reset PE. So the same would apply to CE as well. Kevin, being a higher being, comes from Project Stigma, not the AoF. So technically, it's still: Kevin < HoTE
It's pretty much clear that PROMETHEUS (WoH), HoTE and also Jyhanar the "HoOc" are more powerful than him
