One thing that I will suggest is add turn order bar like i heores of might and magic games that you in real time see which champ will move next. Also battle gui is not clear it should be bigger and what I lack in raid they dont specify exact number of hp and tm. There should be number on top od hp bar that tell you this champ has 100k and that has 50k not force player to guess. „can i one shoot it his hp bar looks big”. That is from me. Wish you best and be top1 gacha soon

I think your excitement about the game and your desire to share everything with the community is so refreshing and brings a lot of hope to the gaming world. (After video edit) got to say I know it’s early in the build but it looks great. The characters are cool. The skill icons are very nice. The level design are awesome. I am so excited for this game and each update.

Even if this game looks terrible at release, knowing the team behind it genuinely cares about the game itself is going to be such a relief. Keep the updates coming. Loving to see the progress and we all know it takes time.

Drock was on point the other night in his live stream. People were asking his opinion on if Plarium will fix certain things about their game, and he had some answers but concluded with "Honestly, they are just too slow. Once Hades' game comes out, everyone is just gonna play that."
Seeing this project from concept to actual in-game engine work is just so hugely exciting! I can't wait for this game to take the gacha world by storm. Great work Fateless!

You mean once everyone sees that HH's game looks no different than any other microtransaction game as it still has $99.99 microtransactions for sale, still has monthly subscriptions for core game resources, still has < 8 hour limits of regenerable game energy, still has.... every single monetization issue every single other game out there uses....
Then people will be super excited still to play his Raid clone, that really only has different champs and perhaps some slightly different missions and events?
Huh. We'll see. We'll see how long the excitement lasts. Once the honeymoon of it being a new thing wears off and the realization comes that it's just another microtransaction.

None of my clan - and certainly not Drock - is concerned about energy regen or micro transaction pricing model in the Fateless game. That is just standard gacha stuff and HH's team has played too many to fuck up those well-tested elements.
What people are concerned about is having a playable, balanced game with great visuals, good story, and fun champs by a dev team that isn't afraid to get in and shake up metas with nerfs/buffs/re-balances more than once every six months. We'll pay with time and money if Fateless can deliver that.
as much as this game seems nice, I dont expect to quit raid for it, good luck to everyone, but it would be unfortunate to see everyone quit imo
@@elfishmoss1457 I doubt it'll happen all at once. I've got two years into my Raid account, so I'll probably still play it for awhile.
But honestly, it's my clan and the Content Creators like HH, Saph, Drock, Eharbad, etc that keep me coming back for more. If Fateless can find a way to make a Raid clone with rogue-like game mode and better community engagement, there's just no reason to keep playing Raid.
Thank you for sharing everything with us. I absolutely love seeing this journey from concept to final product. Having the community involved at such an early stage is brilliant.

Absolutely loving the turn order visual on the right. I really hope there will be some sort test area where you can test teams/artifacts/speed tunes out against the content you are building them for. Even if it was under a refreshable key (clan boss esq...) it would allow testing options before using resources against the live content. Love watching this journey and cannot wait for the release.
I like how Watcher of Realms does it, your resources (eg. energy) gets consumed when you get loot. So if your run fails it costs nothing. I think that's fair.

I will definitely be playing this game at the earliest availability . This is even a game I would consider buying a pre release package of some sorts (maybe shards to summon champions and/or anything we will be able to purchase ingame after its release....but should be a one time supporters package with great value)
We are considering some early bird things with actual items as well like concept art book and small figurine. As well as in game stuff

@HellHades, While you were showing off the champions, I couldn't help think, "what if they had animated facial expressions too?" It could make the heros more personable and add a layer of personality that you don't see in this genre. Then I started to think, "what if there were in-game rewards, or purchasable emotes for characters, to customize them further?" Just an idea...
Awesome progression in just 5 months! Getting in early, and being a little cheeky by asking, but put my name down for beta testing I'm really excited to see what's next.

Amazing progress so far and thanks for the early look, excited for the next stage with animations upgraded etc to see it in action! only criticism id have is please change the camera angle but great job guys
This is really cool to see. Takes a lot of work to get to this point! Excited to get dug in once you start letting the community folks test it out. You mentioned several dates -- will you guys do any sort of closed Alpha on top of the beta? Maybe for patrons? 😉
We will do a closed alpha at some point but relatively small numbers. Would be hand picked from active early bird or patron users in discord 👍

Cool stuff, I'd call it first view version not pre- alpha state yet. Most features are from Unity engine, a lot of engineering work is still needed, the road to deliver a game is a huge undertaking - you are at the beginning of it. Wishing you a lot of success!
That's wild. I remember watching you back when you ran that defense team with altan in arena to creating your own company and game. I really hope it's success, and how you guys are listening to the community I think it on it's way. What would be interesting is seeing a f2p friendly gacha, I don't think that even exist yet.

Hey @HellHades, if you have flat stat gear in Fateless, make it to have a higher value, e.g in raid flat stat HP chest gives 4k, it should give ~10k
You could do some math to pick the average HP a Lego would receive and that ended up being the amount the gear would give.
This allows using lower rarity characters with good gear and/or giving stat boost for those who have lower base stat (like Brogni atk or Rotos HP)

Buzzing, the excitement must be through the roof as you see the game come together and be animated on screen. I can't wait for the testing stages
It really is, every day seeing things evolve and get closer and closer is so surreal.
Looks amazing, considering how early you still are in the process. Some feedback on the character design... Leonidas and Ramses look incredible! Those two are the absolute gold standard. Odin looks like he could benefit from a little more detail/texture in the feathers. If you can get his feathers to look as good as Skytouched Shaman's he would look fantastic. I also think you could afford to exaggerate the horns on his helmet a bit more, like Altan or Prince Kymar, if you want him to look a little more imposing. Some characters, like Musashi, still look like their biceps and forearms are out of proportion to the size of their hands... either the arms need to be smaller or the hands bigger. Brynhild looks great. Unbelievable progress --- you are definitely on the path to building something amazing!
I'm excited for you all!! Being a gamer, I like to see how a game is being made, and this one looks like it's going to be amazing.
For a first run it's looking great. Was a reminder to me how much work goes into making a game...even little details like idle animations, lighting adjustments, positioning are so important in the final presentation.
I know it is early and not final but give Odin a scowl, his face feels a bit deadpan atm.
Can't wait to see the final setup for Leonidas, already looks great...he naturally will be a highly wanted character.

This looks super cool. The one thing that I hope you and your team will keep in mind when your game is up and running and people are playing is just remember where you started and remember that it is the people that play the game that make it a success. All the production and hours spent in the design phase means a lot, but it is the people that play the game that will determine if it is a successful venture. Just food for thought. I am looking forward to giving Fateless a some play time when it is released.
Community is what brought us here and it'll be what keeps us going.

Loving the pre-alpha visible effects makes it easier to know what move the Chars are using! Game is looking great for the stages we're in I would say! My one critic would be I'm not a fan of the bulky squares for the move sets maybe slim them down or round them out some how, think it would look slightly better (personal opinion of course)
The finished product will look a million times more polished for sure. Just got maybe a bit too excited with this one and shared very early before the polishing touches were done.

WOW 10 weeks... 10 WEEKS and so much done and how many things you have hiden. Most companys cant decided meeting about "lunch" in 10 weeks and you have this beauty. I am so exited to see more and more and be able to test it out. Nice work!

Loving how well this is coming along! I think the thing that I am looking forward to is the characters that you will be using, I've not seen any game that uses known people from History/Folklore/Myths in this way!

An idea, if you had spaces where champs could be, for example, 20 logos, 20 epics and 20 rares, then each time you added a new champ even for those not getting it, it would feel like they were collecting a missing space. an example of this is all the areas that Raid left in for us to see we were more excited about them when they got released, even if afterward we were disappointed, it keeps the excitement in the game even if you don't get the champs for yourself, you still feel like you're kind of collecting.
It also gives you guys some direction, instead of random factions having way more champs in than others it would keep things balanced, also the direction in thinking we have limited spaces what do these guys need and how do we give it to them while keeping them unique. Obviously, after all the spaces were filled in then you could let out excited news that we're expanding the factions. It would make each Lego and epic feel more important and worth collecting because they wouldn't feel like a never ending collection even if in reality they were.

It has been fascinating watching the progress at Fateless. As a former product manager, I understand the challenges you face in creation and integration. Keep up the stellar work. One question: are you going to include Huginn & McGinnis, Odin's two Raven spirit helpers? Also known as thought and memory at some point? Interesting possibilities there for a raven remembering past success, or adding intelligence to his kit. Just a idea.

Please keep showing this stuff. Everyone is so stoked for this game. I love seeing all the tiny steps of the process. It helps people realize how difficult it is to actually build these games. Gamers can so often complain about the smallest things. But so much work goes into all of those elements. I want one
Strong work. You have every right to be proud of the team and what you all have accomplished thus far.
Knowing that the devs are open/responsive/communicative with feedback/critique makes it much easier to spend in a game like this. Sharing content such as thus goes a long way to secure confidence in your player base, it does for me anyhow, cheers!

This is awesome to see! Getting that executable where you can actually go in and paly around with stuff outside of videos or modeling software is a huge milestone. Loving the model quality as well. Can't wait to see how much more this progresses! Also, as a side note, the music in the background really reminds me of music from Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, very nice and relaxing yet energizing/hopeful feel to it which I like a lot.
Question: Are y'all planning on a PC release as well as mobile or just mobile for now?

I fully stepped away from Raid a few months ago, Ive been waiting and waiting and I am so excited for the release of this game. One of my biggest reasons is because its a game made by gamers FOR gamers. We cant wait to see you guys knock those other games out of the water!

Interesting. Choosing legends of the folklore and myths of different regions of the world. Miyamoto Musashi, the legendary swordsman from Japan, Brunhilda, a legend in the German folklore (books). Im looking forward to more legends
