mmm We think the "kids" are little piggies!!! We love when you do things real fast!!! we were rollen on the floor!!!!! God Bless you all. We just love your videos!!!!!!!
I've got 1-2 cups from Lamancha each milking in the first 2 weeks after kidding without kid separation, then the quantity dropped to 1/4 cup each milking because the kids grew big enough to drink almost all the milk. But now (the kids are about 1.5 mos old) I noticed that the doe has a full udder and refusing to nurse her kids - just moving away when kids trying to suck. Is it normal weaning behavior or they hurt her teats so it's painful for her to nurse? Now to let kids to nurse I hold the doe for awhile and she's letting them have the milk till her udder gets almost empty.
Elle-May, my lamancha weaned herself at 3 months, as a bottle baby. I think if she had been on her momma though she would have nursed much longer. Goat are so smart, and ornery...😂 she love's to steal the bunnies alfalfa pellets, not matter how much she has eaten. 🙄🤨😉😆

I actually have similar results with my bottle kids🤨 not sure why they wean, but it does make my chores lighter
