Crying talking about his buddy blown up in Saigon. And his depiction of PTSD was a master class in acting!!!! Roles SINCE THEN have been a lil thin, but THAT ROLE. THAT SCENE. Broke my heart!!

Tho the message of the first film having compassion for a guy who was absolutely traumatized by violence, seems a weird follow up for the sequels to be all about gratuitous violence. When he took the franchise back and started doing serious ones again, I was happy to see it good again.

Hopefully King of Tulsa stays quality throughout.

Stallone is my favourite actor idc what anyone says or thinks. He is one of the most versatile actors, has so much range. Has so many iconic roles and franchises. He gets overlooked and mocked because of his speech. Which is mostly hard to understand when he gets excited but when he speaks slowly calmly, it's clear. He is also very humble and nice guy.

First Blood is one of those movies I can recommend to everyone, its themes and plot are timeless and has great emotional moments. Considering its name and I'd only seen 3 & 4, it surprised me how smart it was despite its name.

For me the true end to his story is the end of the 4th when he’s walking along the road to his old man’s farm back home, walking just like he started…. Coming full circle as trautman once said!

Actually mid credits theres a bit that shows him mounting a horse and he rides off into the sunset and yes he is injured in it. Not sure if you remember that.
