Great to see this really ancient historical research going on, alongside all the Arthurian stuff, there was obviously a great knowledge of the stars given the things people are finding. All those mounds lined up and named for major constellations in old British/Welsh, and matching up with old Babylonian names. More evidence all the time showing not a nation of European Celts, but an advanced nation with real khumric links to the near east. Keep it coming boys, theres so much in this part of Britain, that only now through free thinking, is revealing itself. Bye bye to the coal mining and rugby stereotype, hello illustrious british history!
10:24 Forty eight degrees east of north is approximately the summer solstice sunrise.
Some goddess symbols at last. Great work guys. X
Great info - thanks. Looks like a good spot for next summer
@@BritainsHiddenHistoryRoss Some overnight camping ;-)
So interesting. Love your enthusiasm 😀
I live in Nantyglo. I was exploring here this morning doing landscape photography! Never knew there were markings on the rocks! Ive got a drone so i will have to get some footage of the quarry face etc. loving the channel very interesting!
Brilliant.
Standard bench quarrying of sedimentary stone utilising daylight. The carvings were interesting and probably made using flint or arsenical bronze tools. The lichen gives an idea of age, which not being endangered should be documented then removed for research purposes.
Edit. Possibly an earlier work spoiled by later quarrying hence scree/rubble mix. Lichens are protected for some ludicrous reason.
Great stuff Ross
Thanks all round. Good to see the location and get a sense of the place.
I found this video so fascinating , you never know whats on your door step .
Another cracking video.. please think about uploading audio as a pod cast
Thank you. I think the vids are getting better. Can you recommend a pod cast platform to put the audio on? I am happy to give it a try and dont know much about them. Any help or tips appreciated. :)
@@BritainsHiddenHistoryRoss your vids are brilliant and I think people would love to be able to listen to your content.. I use podbean to listen to stuff.. all you need do is upload the audio.. count me in..
On a different note, I'm investigating a possible arthur battle site on hadrians wall
Around 4:45 it looks like the Nile delta to me.
Very interesting love robs knowledge and way of thinking
Love it Ross
Am I losing it....but can anyone else see the faces carved into the rock at 26:00 to 26:15?
Rob will be busy in late December. Fingers crossed it's clear sky's for you.
Nice one team bhh..
why do you think the roof of that cave was so flat? a natural feature? seems unlikely. EDIT: Changed my mind. I guess that stone fractures in straight lines as is apparent from the quarries.
I would agree that there could have been some work at the entrances. Apparently they link up with the other caves when you follow them further in. Would be great to get some caves down to have a good look
Damn! That's very interesting! Although I do think the quarry stuff are natural formations and the result of the quarrying.
I share your opinion.
Eden had river a snake and an apple
Mitsvah near the end of the video now Joseph of Arimathea knew the Druids where from the really ancient east of Israel and some of the Druids ways where like the ancient Hebrews. So it would have been a cleansing pool for the washing away of sin Druids , just like a Mitsvah
@@MonikaEscobar1965 you need to dig deep at the migration roots of Israel . The story is true to latest research from experts
There is the theory of the "lost tribes" coming to Britain around 500BC and there are plenty of references to the Druidic praticises having come out of Canaan or Assyria. It would seem reasonable that they might share some rituals such as the bathing pool.
@@MonikaEscobar1965 Yes Jacob was Abraham grandson and Yahuah changed the name of Jacob to Israel, yes it was much later the land was called Israel before that it was the land of Canaan
Agreed, the Druid ways must have come from somewhere.
Could they just be a spelling of Judeans or similar?
@@seanbeak4155 Yes I was speaking to dr Pidgeon this weekend and they do come from Israel one of the first groups to move out . Oh we do need Ross and dr P to do a few videos for us or a conference when he comes to Britain
Weed killer, jet wash.
Lichen and mosses are not endangered or supporting a habitat, l agree but suggest a flamethrower and wire brush might be more efficient
