beautiful presentation. Easy to follow and understand language. Wished you would have spoken more about the Andalucia historical spots and real fact behind the Islamic art. May I know what month your trip was because I have noticed great flower tree blooming.
We visited in May. Those flowers were a lovely unexpected surprise! I think they are Jacaranda trees and bloom for a few weeks. They are really beautiful!
Excellent presentation & it is obvious you did your research. Easy listening & easy to understand & just what we were looking for. If you have any links on where to get popup maps for Malaga/Seville/Cordoba this would be much appreciated. We took plenty of notes 👏🤝👍

Thanks for this video! We’re planning a trip to Seville soon and wondered whether you had any recommendations on where to stay or area for a good base. Thanks
I'm going to include areas to stay in a future Seville video but in case you are visiting sooner... we stayed in Triana, which is a nice local neighbourhood (we showed in this video). However we were based in Seville for longer than 3 days and did a couple of day trips. For shorter visits personally I would prefer a more convenient location like el arenal or santa cruz. You can still walk from Triana to the main sights but it further out. I think wherever you stay then if you dont like noise then check accommodation reviews because some areas were loud and busy til late (great atmosphere though!). Have a great trip!
After the pandemic, reservations are now required for a number of museums. I suggest you check the web page of each location before arriving in Sevilla. Each location will have its own hours of operation. The archeological museum is closed until 2026.

I haven't been in December so can't speak from experience. Based on research it's not the best time to go, but I would happily go to Seville any time of year. Weatherwise it should still hopefully be mild compared to a lot of other parts of europe, plus christmas lights and markets are always fun! 🙂 Have a great time!

Where can I find that the tickets to see Alcazar include entry to setas also? I'm trying to confirm because I had originally planned to see Setas first, but if it's included in Alcazar I'll buy Alcazar tickets first! :) Thank you!! Leaving this Sunday
It's the ruins underneath Las Setas that are included with the Alcazar ticket. To go up on Las Setas walkway is a separate ticket / attraction. We bought our Alcazar ticket directly from their site rather than a third party. Hope this helps, and have a great trip! 😀
Your video was perfect for our visit. We followed most of what you suggested and enjoyed our 5 days. One extra nugget. If anyone would like a good sky bar suggestion, try the Abba Hotel. Thank you for posting your video
That's great to hear, I'm glad you found it helpful and enjoyed your trip 🙂 Ooo thanks for sharing your sky bar recommendation, I just googled and it has a great looking view over the cathedral!
I'm editing it at the moment so not sure if it will be ready before your trip...possibly...it'll be a close one! I hope you have a great trip to Seville 😊
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! March is typically cited as a good time to visit, yes 🙂 I guess things to bear in mind are it's a transitional month from winter to spring, so weather could be a little unpredictable (although for me being from the UK it still looks pretty great to me, haha), and also depending on what year you visit check when semana santa falls. I would happily visit Seville at any time of year though!
Question about the tickets, you mentioned that some of the casa are tied to the real alcazar tickets. Is that still applicable? I’m seeing separate tickets and not sure if this is true and if i need to purchase separately.
I just did a test run booking a Real Alcazar ticket and it says "This ticket includes free admission to the Antiquarivm, Casa Fabiola and the Triana Ceramics Museum". Is this what you were referring to? 🙂
We went in May, it was a great time to go! I talk about best times to go in our other Seville video in a bit more detail but in short, March-May (but be aware of festival dates) or September-October. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Hi, I'm planning to visit Sevilla this year. I would like to know how much time are needed for Plaza España and Parque de Maria Luisa? Thanking you in advance.
amazing video! where did you book the tickets for the alcazar online? im having so many issues with their site! did you add the royal rooms online, or at the door? thanks so much :)
We bought ours directly from their site. We didn't have any issues but it isn't the most user friendly I guess! 😅 We didn't visit the upper royal rooms as they were sold out for our visit. If it helps we did ask them a question using the form on their site and they got back to me really quickly so if you keep having issues perhaps it's something they can help with. Hope you get it sorted!
Do you have a day trip or a 2 or 3-day trip to Seville from Malaga? If you have, I'd like to join it. I'm flying in and staying in Malaga. I'm going to join the day trip to Ronda (or if you have a 2 or 3-day trip to Ronda), and Malaga 3 days trip. Please let me know and I'm coming at the end of May.
Hi, I'm not sure if I misunderstood your comment but our Seville trip wasn't part of a guided tour. We actually visited Seville on a separate trip to Malaga. I know there are guided tours available from Malaga to Seville though, at least for a day trip. You could also travel by bus or train 🙂
I suppose it depends on what temperature you consider pleasant, but maybe you would like March/April which is usually low 20s, although make sure you know what dates Semana Santa (holy week) falls that year before you book. Of course weather is unpredictable... we went in May which should have been mid-high 20s (which to us is perfect) but there was a heatwave and it was mid 40s! 🥵
Seville is one of the hottest places in Spain. In July average highs are around 36c / 97f, so you will know yourself how good you are at dealing with high temperatures. I think for some people that would simply be too hot to enjoy themselves on a city break. Personally I would try and go outside of summer, but if I could only go in July then I wouldn't let that stop me. I am generally ok with heat though. We visited in May, which should have been more comfortable but there was a heatwave and temperatures were over 40c every day. We still managed to do everything we wanted to and had a great time, but were careful to stay hydrated, choose shade over sun when we could, especially in the afternoons etc. If you do decide to go in July I would say plan to do things at a slower pace, try to avoid being in the sun in the late afternoon, stay central to minimise walking and drink lots and lots of water! 🙂
Hi, I am planning to travel to Spain towards the end of December from 21st to 31st. I am planning to visit Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Barcelona (may change this later). Wanted to know how is Spain like towards end of December? Will shop/restaurants and places to visit be closed for the holidays or can I actually have a good time there. I will be in Seville on 23rd and 24th of December
Typically, the only reason why some businesses close during a season in Spain (and some other hot parts of europe) is during the height of the summer when the heat is too much. During that time, a lot of people go and stay in their holiday homes in slightly cooler climates. You'll be fine in December. I stayed in Barcelona from December to January, and everything was opened. There was also Xmas markets, NYE fireworks, and all that seasonal stuff. As with everywhere else, I doubt that many places would be opened on Xmas day though
Sorry, we don't have hotel recommendations for Seville at the moment. We stayed in an apartment in Triana, but I think staying a little more central is probably better for short visits
@@ignacioheredia9599 po si 😊 o que no venga, no necesitamos a gente como el aqui. Hay muchos turistas que son muy amables y por supuesto que son bienvenidos.
Thanks for the info. This particular tapas bar describe their pringa as pork, chorizo and blood sausage on their menu, so I guess it must be their own take on pringa then. Either way, it's delicious! 🙂

I do pronounce it Seville, apart from once where I also use Sevilla (as I wanted to include the Spanish name too), so I'm not really sure what you're referring to I'm afraid? I've been scratching my head over this one!

When can we expect the planning video? We are going to Seville is a couple of weeks, and your video has really whetted out appetite's. Thank you.
I'm editing it at the moment so not sure if it will be ready before your trip...possibly...it'll be a close one! I hope you have a great trip to Seville 😊
Is March also a good month to visit the city?
Great video (and tips) btw!

Could you please tell the month of your visit to Seville. Also what are the best times to visit Seville.
Hi, we were there most of the morning, so around 2-3 hours. I could have happily spent longer though! Have a great trip 🙂🌞
amazing video! where did you book the tickets for the alcazar online? im having so many issues with their site! did you add the royal rooms online, or at the door? thanks so much :)
@@OurTravelPlace thank you so much! :)
Which is the best month or specific days of the particular month so that i get pleasant weather, no heat
Hallo, may I know from which website did u buy the cathedral Seville ticket?
Hi, we got ours from the cathedral website: catedraldesevilla.entradasdemuseos.com/
@@OurTravelPlace thank you ❤, I'll def follow your itinerary for my seville trip next year thank youu
@@vendakansya6382 That's great, I hope you find it helpful :)
what time do most restaurants open for dinner please?
It varies, but we found most opened sometime between 7:30pm and 9pm.
Just wanted to know, is Spain doable in July?? Or is too hot
@@sensimania Thank you! Looking forward to the trip! :)
Does anyone here know how is Seville during first week of Dec? Care to give some tips ❤
What hotels do you recommend staying in Seville?
Sorry, we don't have hotel recommendations for Seville at the moment. We stayed in an apartment in Triana, but I think staying a little more central is probably better for short visits

Did you say beef cheeks?
It's more common the pork's loin checks.
Beautiful city but it’s a shame about some of the local people who are both racist and prejudice. Fascism is still well at large in Spain.
What's happen to asume this fact?

wrong! pringa is not pork, chorizo and sausage, its red meat and "Tocino"
Thanks for the info. This particular tapas bar describe their pringa as pork, chorizo and blood sausage on their menu, so I guess it must be their own take on pringa then. Either way, it's delicious! 🙂
This is too slow even on 2x speed.
You have added photos of Barcelona ;la cathedral secla safrada familia)and Madrid(Ciebeles) which are not Sevilla. Do your homework first before posting please
I'm not sure what you are referring to but all photos/clips were taken by us while in we were in seville.
I can't with this pronounciation
Oh I'm well aware as a non-Spanish speaker my pronunciation sucks! I do research and try though - that's all I can really do 😆
Flamenco reminds me on 🦚🍳🍗🦴.
What makes me hungry 🤤 😋
Its Seville for all speakers in the world. You dont butcher the names of places. Learn the pronunciation before making a video.
I do pronounce it Seville, apart from once where I also use Sevilla (as I wanted to include the Spanish name too), so I'm not really sure what you're referring to I'm afraid? I've been scratching my head over this one!
@OurTravelPlace can you go to Wikipedia and listen to it's proper pronunciation? Not sure why my comment is getting erased
Your comment isn't erased, it's still there. From looking at wikipedia I take it you mean you don't think the English pronunciation should be used
@@OurTravelPlace should never be used. In Japanese, or any language, it's still SeviYa(pronounced).
