  • Gomba rice is aa northern brown rice which is very delicious and also nutrient-packed. Very popular street food in Kumasi.

You are one of the only if not the only channel that made authentic Ghanaian foods with no Western add on or some twist and we love the originality andauthenticity you post .     Thank you for cooking this recipe, I grew up in Akwatialline around nineteen steps and it could be breakfast, lunch or dinner, and we the kumasi people will testify to this, love your cooking, always close to home, in US here I will try with brown rice, you made my day, thank you again

      Thank you so much. I can feel the excitement at the same time a nostalgic feeling. Wagashi is a type of cheese very popular amongst the fulanis. It's made out of cows milk. I call it the African cheese. I have a recipe here on my channel on how to make it.

    The rice is so much like the Nigerian Ofada rice. Is it the same thing as our Nigerian Ofada rice?. .The Ofada rice is so nutritious and very tasty.

    Great recipe, I tried and it was fantastic but the grains didn't come out as soft as I wanted it even though I used lots of water like you recommended. Any tip?

      Thanks dear. You should let the steam cook it for you. Once you are sure you added enough water, reduce the heat to the lowest, cover with foil, kitchen towel or parchment paper, make sure its tight to retain the steam and the magic will happen 🤣. Note: this type of rice is very hard compared to the normal ones we use so make sure you add enough water. Let me know once you try this style. I hope these tips helps. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

      In the US am not sure but its similar to Nigerian ofada rice which I think you can fin in the african market. 👍🏾
