- CRAZY day meeting Senators and religious leaders. Toured the U.S. Capitol, exclusive Book of Mormon lunch in the Library of Congress. Then had a very uncomfortable day in an Uber. Just your standard day around here:)
This video was not sponsored or paid for by anyone other than ourselves. This was such a unique opportunity that we had to be part of even if it did take Lincoln out of school, cost thousands for the travel. Once in a lifetime experience and we are extremely grateful for the leaders in Senate who are willing to make time for social media.
This TH-cam channel experience has taken us many places but this experience with an apostle of the LDS church and the highest ranking senator is just another one of those amazing experiences in life that we will forever be grateful for.

Great tour of the US Capitol....Senator Hatch is a great individual in many ways and he assisted me in getting a hotel open in Park City many years ago. I wish he was still a Senator we need more people like him in DC right now. I assume the other 2 kids are part of your family? You Son is well polished get him involved in politics now and for his own Mission trip in the next year or so.

Constitutionally, you are considered a natural-born American if you are born to American parents, regardless of the location of your birth. Otherwise, neither John McCain nor Ted Cruz would be able to run for the presidency.
40+ years in the Senate is the exact reason why we must get Term Limits.

I'm sorry, but I have to correct some of the inaccuracies in this video. First off, Mitch McConnell is the senate majority leader, and the third in line for president is actually the speaker of the house, who is Paul Ryan.
Also, the vice president is the president of the senate.

Yes, the President Pro Tempore is second in command of the senate, Article one Section three of the constitution states that the vice president is the president of the seante, and that the President Pro Tempore takes upon the Vice President's duties when they are absent. The President Pro Tempore is fourth in line to be president, not second like the video stated. I just wanted to share this because the video stated something inaccurate and I wanted to corrrect it because I am a fan of this channel. Thank You.

Hatch was replaced with RINO Romney. Now Romney is retiring.
Well that was a crazy trip! This same year, my 11 yo daughter and I also met Senator Hatch and his wife Elaine in their home just outside of DC. It was an unplanned and crazy, surreal experience. Didn’t accomplish anything but experience. Then he retired before things got really crazy!

I think any young person should run for office both local, state and national. Young people are the ones who will make our country a better country for all people. And my sister is a Mormon and she has 5 boys.
I went to DC and got a tour from the senator of my state. It was awesome! Did you ever take the metro while you were on DC? The metro was amazing!

I normally would not post like this on a public forum but, please see an attorney that specializes in area of law that is willing to listen and advise before proceeding with anything. I am not one but I have had experiences with "fun" issues like this. You may have already but make sure they clearly go through your options and reasoning's for each one. Bring ALL of your paperwork. Actually the Vice President is the President of the Senate. Senator Hatch is the President Pro Tempore which is the second highest ranking in the senate. He has more legislative power than the VP though.

Ive been in the pentagon. First thing you notice is the sub machine guns the guards are strapped with behind giant portable shields. The tour was given by two airmen. It was really cool to see the courtyard and the 9/11 memorial room.
