I've only been picking for 2 months and am handicapped, "one handed." I'm amazed that these lock companies are still in business.

Is the main issue with this lock the bitting or are the tolerances to low to keep it from easily being raked open?

Weak springs and bitting. Strong springs and decent bitting will thwart most rakes

Not that I could feel no. Its not a tough SPP
