  • A new political party aiming to overhaul the country's political system has been launched. Rise Mzansi believes it is an alternative to the current political establishment, saying it wants to give power back to the people. Former editor and publisher, Songezo Zibi is the leader, whilst former Azapo President, Ishmael Mkhabela, and former DA MP, Makashule Gana, are part of the national leadership.

    As one of those who jumped ANC ship years ago, I tried my luck and basically went along with every party that was formed with an eye on the coming elections. At one stage, my wife giggled and pointed out the desperation for a new messiah party on my part. Bear with me compatriots, but the truth is simply that any new party soon fizzles out and goes out of business before the next election. I am not saying we can't keep trying with these late comers. Anyone, if you hear of something better or promising, hook me up..

    The person I respect more in South Africa is one who manages to pay these minions to create political parties all over the place. If there is any success story in SA is that of convincing fools to create multiple political parties.
    Unfortunately s/he remains unseen and unknown, but the work speaks for itself.

    • @MoreThanRuan
      @MoreThanRuan หลายเดือนก่อน

      They got R10m from the Oppenheimers. Their failure to be funded by party members is exactly what the issue is at the moment. They have a debt to the Oppenheimers and not to the voters. If you want political system change then rather vote for OHM who refuses money from companies and are member funded 100%.

    If you see many political parties being formed shows ANC is going to continue in power . Why we form new party when there is so many political parties already ? You wont unseat the ruling party by bringing so many new political parties rather unite small nyana parties to defeat elephant in the room. ED is giving Ramaphosa some advice .. Divide and rule

    • @marcup5359
      @marcup5359 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really, the formation of many political parties does not necessarily mean that the ANC will continue to hold power. The presence of many political parties may indicate the opposite - that the ANC is losing its grip on power and that there is a growing desire for change among the electorate.
      Forming new political parties can also be a sign of a healthy democracy, as it allows for a greater diversity of voices and perspectives to be represented. However, you are correct that having too many small parties can lead to a fragmented opposition, making it more difficult to unseat the ANC.

    There will be no true progress and solutions to the problems in this country until the Khoi San peoples are recognized as the true peoples of Southern Africa.
    And their language recognised as an official language in South Africa.
    Schools are prevented from teaching the true history of this land.
    Political parties will come and go and all are missing the fact - that Southern Africa belongs to the Khoi San peoples.
    This country cannot grow to its true potential without the Khoi San being part of the growth and wealth.

    Organic Humanity Movement (OHM) is self funded and standing for political system change with a direct democracy system without political parties existing or being funded by billionaires and greedy corporations. Sadly Rise Mzansi failed already by taking R10 million rand from an individual billionaire. If you want to give power to the people you need to take memberships from the people. Now you owe the Oppenheimers!

Anything that doesn't address the economic question and how Africans have been disenfranchised in South Africa will never have my support. These people think we have outsourced our thinking. Having said the above, I welcome anyone who seeks to bring down the criminal thugs that are the ANC.

    This looks like a desperate attempt for the anc to remain in power. Whilst mom and dad is taring each other apart, the kids suffer. Best workable divorce solution is where all parties sit around the table. Anc please dont be like some fathers who leave their woman and children in the street, just because you had affairs. Why cant you negotiate, and give options to your ex and the children. The more parties formed is a detour on what is suppose to happen. A divorce.
