    It's interesting the multiple materials that go into one relatively small tool................I was working on an antique clock the other day and the pendulum seems to be copper coated lead, I was a little surprised, not something I often see except maybe in ammo.

      Yeah in the old days they used a lot of stuff they probably wouldn’t use now. As a child I remember lead was everywhere. Surprised I never wound up poisoned lol ☠️

    The No. 45 is my favorite model! Stanley acquired North Bros in 1946. The North Bros name was phased out in the 1950's.

    My grandfather had 1 almost identical to this 1 years ago, I’m not sure what came of it

      @@snapringchronicles3020 he’s also had 1 with 2 gears ⚙️, and a Chuck at the end, the handle you held it with & the handle you cranked by hand were wood lol I with I had it for sentimental reasons
