dude I'm like a week sober and listened to this song and realized that it fits my addiction so much more than any romantic relationship I've had. Thanks for sharing your story, keep it up!
When he yells "Love" I can't do anything but sit in silence and clench my chest. It speaks volumes to me. I can literally feel every inch of pain comprised of one word belted out in just a few notes. Absolutely breath taking.
Breathtaking indeed. Gets me every time. “LOVE”. “Mercy” as well, especially live. Goose bumps, tears! Love. We need that now more than ever. And, friends.... Listen to “Map Of The Problematique “ “When will loneliness be over” ❤️
1:57 that harmony, I love it's one and done, it's sprinkled in at the half way point, and they way each person comes in out of nowhere just gives me chills.
Yes, when you said "comes in out of nowhere." Almost everytime this part plays I look around the room thinking someone around me is actually singing it out loud in person. It comes across as a whisper in your ear.
I never paid attention to Muse's music except for this song and 'Supermassive Black Hole' --UNTIL I saw them on this now defunct channel called Palladium where they showed a Muse concert and they were AMAZING! I would love to see them in concert one day. I miss Palladium channel because they always had great concerts and live festival performances from so many genres of music from modern and classic rock, to rap, R&B, classic pop and modern pop. Plus that channel had 'Live...With Jools Holland', and his diverse panel of musical guest NEVER disappointed.
This is songwriting brilliance. For Muse, a band so known for bombastic rock anthems, to craft this small, delicate song about honesty and to restrain its power all the way until the confession comes spilling out in the end… it's gorgeous!
ShyanTheLegend hahahahaha calm the fuck down bruh! its just a song. lmao after 3.00 its the end of the song. you might wanna just move onto the next song.

I don't know why people are complaining that this isn't a true lyrics video. The artistry and symbolism are amazing, and it looked like a lot of work. I love it, great job!
Well, while beautifully composed and modern-looking, this "lyric" video lacks its main characteristic and full purpose: the lyrics of the song. It just shows an odyssey of coloured dots grouping and disbanding to try and make some key words of the lyrics, but are still sometimes hard to read. It would make an awesome screensaver, though.
Once in a while I come back to this song and I sing along almost with the same intensity. Every word reminds me that you need love to success but I ask myself, what is love? Is it madness? and finally I realized that you need to find your very own definition of what is love. And now everytime I sing I think "This is how I express my love, singing, writing, and living my life respecting others and helping. So that's the light. The light is the hope of know that you are full of love even if it seems madness.
i love how this song is contradictory....i'm not expecting you to care...i can finally see the light...and then he says trust in my dream come back and rescue me....a pure true felling....thinking something is over but having that little spark that you don't want to let die....one of the most beautiful, visceral and awesome lyrics and music 😊☺
You're absolutely right Maddison . The crazy thing is that I'll come back and listen to it every once in a while and still get the same chills every time I hear it. It's a treasure. I truly envy those who are listening for the first time
4:05 this part I swear, there's something about how it gets delivered and how some guys feel Come to me Trust in a dream Come on and rescue me Yes I know, I can be wrong And maybe I'm too headstrong Our love is Madness
Those aren't even the lyrics though lol. Come to me just in a dream Come on and rescue me Yes, I know, I can't be wrong And baby, you're too headstrong
The emptiness won’t last forever, you need to love yourself, forgive yourself, you’re the only person in your life who will always be there, and others will see the love in you and want to share it, not take it. You’ll get through this.
I like your comment but I don't agree with it. You can love yourself to the moon and back and have great intentions and there can still be no one that gives a fuck. That's why there are still people that are considered "good" that commit suicide unfortunately. It's not as black and white as that but I have seen good/loving people left behind my whole life.
I still remember when I heard this song on the radio getting in the car when leaving my last day of work at my first real job, don’t know why it sticks with me all these years now
ALWAYS say something when you are in love to the person you wish. Holding back offers nothing, and will most probably lead on regrets later. On the other hand, the initial "embarassment" of your try will not matter after a while, regardless of the outcome.
Tony Do How do you know unless you speak up? Who knows what goes on inside some people's minds, they may be just as afraid as you to show how they feel. At some point, one person has to be brave and tell the other how they really feel!
I just heard this song for the 1st time today. I know,...I'm late to the party. Anyway, I was thinking the same thing about being reminded of "Queen". Especially the early vocals. Thank you Muse for creating a beautiful and perfect song that helps me carry on and awakens and heals something inside of me. I can't stop playing and meditating on this song and when the part that comes in that says I need to love I break down in the light of it's message as if it is expelling the darkness within and the sacred water flows from the windows of thy soul. Thank you very much for creating this piece of sonic art Muse, you'll never understand the power of this gift you have given.

The lyrics leading up the last Madness is literally genius. Mathew is a genius. I am so glad I got to see them live a few weeks ago. I will be seeing them again whenever they decided to come back through.
this is the only "rock song" my grandpa would listen too. he died 2 years ago and this song still makes me cry. he and I weren't even that close, we rarely talked, but i loved him.
This is a cool song for it being new. I'm all about the 60's and 70's classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. But this is one song that refuses to leave my mind and I find myself humming it and attempting to sing it often. Must be that bad assed Bass!
I was a freshman in high school when I first heard this and I thought; BLECH But a year and a half later I listen to this song everyday at least three times
I'm not high right now but I'm very sleep deprived. Anyways i was imagining myself gliding and dancing my way through inside the movie paper towns in Q's neighborhood as I was playing an electric guitar, and told Q to hold the guitar as I stared at the sidewalk during sunset and a purple ish watery portal opened up and i just fell forward into it, Then I was traveling through space and it was so full of beautiful colors and I then decided to ride a massive ocean like wave of energy having the time of my life.
Somebody is driving us crazy,no matter who, this song will always apply. Thank you Muse!
Exactly how I feel

I, Finally Light
I, Finally Realized

+MrCrasherdog show less.
Some deep lyrics going on in the video lol
+MrCrasherdog Wrong, man. Look closely, at 1:11, 2:27 and 3:42. It's REALISED, not REALIZED!
this song reminds me of my first love experience
Right
Same
this song was the one i listened to after i broke up with the first real and biggedt love of my life... agh still hurts
I love this song
{Lyrics}
I, I can't get these memories out of my mind
And some kind of madness has started to evolve
I, I tried so hard to let you go
But some kind of madness is swallowing me whole, yeah
I have finally seen the light
And I have finally realized
What you mean
Oh oh oh
And now, I need to know is this real love
Or is it just madness keeping us afloat?
And when I look back at all the crazy fights we had
Like some kind of madness
Was taking control
Yeah
And now I have finally seen the light
And I have finally realized
What you need
Mm
And now I have finally seen the end (Finally seen the end)
And I'm not expecting you to care (Expecting you to care)
But I have finally seen the light (Finally seen the light)
I have finally realized (Realized)
I need to love
I need to love
Come to me,
Trust in your dream
Come on and rescue me
Yes I have known, I can be wrong
Maybe I'm too headstrong
Our love is
Madness
Madness? THIS IS SPARTAAA!!!!!!
I remember when I couldn't stop listening to this song. Probably because I can relate to this song.
i'm relating to it now
Thanks Mag for reminding me about this gem
at work, sleeping, in the morning, school, with different emotions thers only one thing in my, madness, its what its called, it makes me mad, in a good way

Vida longa ao Muse
Oh Jesus the memories that come with this song. Still amazing though!
The lyrics leading up the last Madness is literally genius. Mathew is a genius. I am so glad I got to see them live a few weeks ago. I will be seeing them again whenever they decided to come back through.
Me and my dad used to jam too this song, this ones for you daddy. 3 R.i.p 10/24/2013
So sorry :(
this is the only "rock song" my grandpa would listen too. he died 2 years ago and this song still makes me cry. he and I weren't even that close, we rarely talked, but i loved him.
This is a cool song for it being new. I'm all about the 60's and 70's classic rock like Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. But this is one song that refuses to leave my mind and I find myself humming it and attempting to sing it often. Must be that bad assed Bass!
3:43 this part.
this is a masterpiece .....plain and simple....pure masterpiece
God, this song is so good, especially at the end, the hair on my arms raised and got a shiver down my spine
I was a freshman in high school when I first heard this and I thought; BLECH
But a year and a half later I listen to this song everyday at least three times
Looks like you've finally seen the light..
bosnagurl1234 The spell has been lifted. Congrats, you discovered great music.

If only the millions of other members of your generation would reach the point of enlightment as you have...
This is bye far the best lyrics video I have ever seen. I LOVE IT.
I was working some extra hours at office, when I found this song. Thanks Daniel.
Kewl
Only Muse could teach people the lyrics to their songs and give them seizures at the same time. lol
