In 2020 I was diagnosed with Cancer. Had to take chemo pills but Praise God he kept me through all I went through God kept me. I'm now Cancer Free. God Kept Me. Hallelujah!!!!

I know that can be very difficult and frustrating. I suffered from 2008-2011. But God was there for me. I prayed more and spent time reading God's Word. But I did get help by going to a psychologist for 3 years. 1st year one on one. Then 2 years group therapy. It helped so much. No I'm a pastor and I counsel others. Look at God. He will work it out.

My surgery was very successful! Glory be to God! A three and a half surgery turned out to be 6 hour surgery but my God is awesome ! I had very low blood loss and my after post op pain did not last very long(praise God!!). Thanks for thinking about me and everyone that prayed for me I thank you as well!!

Today is Sunday, February 27th, 2022 9:15pm. There’s a war between Russia and Ukraine, while there’s a pandemic. It’s hard to believe. But I just mentioned this song in a text to this man I started talking to yesterday. “Jesus, You’re the center of my joy…” Decided to come on here to listen to it again.
“When I’ve lost my direction, you are my compass.” That part gets me! Then, when he says, “You are why I find pleasure for the simple things in life.”, I lose it everytime.
June 2024 and in my garage listening and praising God!! Turned 60 in May. I was diagnosed with MS 2007 and still able to get around using a cane now but He is so good and definitely the Center of My Joy!!! ❤

One of my fondest childhood memories is listening to the old Black Gospel radio station after church on Sunday nights. All the family eating, listening and just enjoying the phenomenal music. Feel like a lot of these powerful songs are lost in many churches today.
I listen to this song everyday. Each day it’s a different reason, but I know it gives me the security I need, it gives me strength, and let’s me know the Lord is with me always. He loves me and makes me so very HAPPY.

This song gave me the strength when i was 18 years old in Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN and they had told my grandmother that I wasn't going to live to see the age 20 years old but now im 48 years old and im still kicking and i have actually had a daughter and she's 17 years old now! My husband passed on December 12, 2022. This song popped up on my phone in the following week and ministered to me in my grief. The first two lines says it all. I had it sung after my tribute at his funeral. I wake singing it during the night and when I start humming during the day, this is the song.
