Man you are so underrated I've seen tons of players who think they are godplayers and yet they use deadeye and auto-aim on this mission lmao. Great content as usual dude ! 👑
1:23 Now this is interesting. Because you have the "No Damage" rule, the game has attained a level of difficulty that was not present before. Now you really want to avoid damage so you use the dodge function, unlike your regular combat vids. It looks quite cool 2:07 That kill right after a dodge was cool. I love how powerful the revolvers are in this version. 2:37 That was a close call 3:29 Why is RDR2 John such an absolute dimwit? He can shoot a bandito in the head to save the hostage girl but he can't shoot this guy in the back at point blank range? What? 4:35 Excellent shots 5:36 That was an awesome dodge 6:00 Here you could have used the zoomed out dodge (hipfire+jump) to get a better view at the men shooting at you. Very quick kills though. 6:20 Your dodge game keeps being badass. You actually killed these guys without taking a single bullet. 7:23 Dodging those shots like max payne 7:36 Look at that ragdoll Honestly, as impressive as your shooting was, the highlight of this video is your ability to avoid bullets like Neo. I remember you talked about a damage resistance mod that makes Arthur more vulnerable to damage. Maybe you can do key story missions like that instead of a perfect "no damage" run which i assume must be rather infuriating rather than fun. At least with the diminished damage resistance you'll be able to take some damage before you die but not to a ridiculous degree like the vanilla version. Also, now that the reticle no longer lies to you because you removed sway, bloom and camera shake, do you perform better with it than without it?
Finally, someone recognised the many bewildering details of this clip that I can elaborate on lol. Fun fact: I was so sick of restarting that I had to mute the music before i threw up. Added it back on edit lol. A big advantage I had here was straight up luck. Prior attempts were more methodical, but someone at some point will either shoot me or the hat off. But despite getting sloppy from fatigue, this shitstorm of a run would be the run that would finally win. MAIN example. Huge catastrophe at 7:04, I thought I killed that guy (because no kill effect). So when he rose back up I mustve press circle to try and kick him (dumb move, R2 wouldve been safer). Lucky the game mechanics prevents you taking bullets mid-takedown (same way it does polishing guns mid combat) because I was WIDE OPEN, if I stayed there for a second longer I wouldve got shot, so I jumped outta there... But, when it rains - it pours. When I dodged at 7:13, I inadvertently caused the OTHER side to spawn early, while having the left side still shooting at me. The general script is that the left side come out, they die, then the right side spawn from their tents and then die. I spawned them SIMULTANEOUSLY. That mistake is what lead to my greatest free aim moment in history, going full Matrix at 7:23. It genuinely looks like Max Payne in real time, especially with the bullet trails. This is one of my favourite videos due to being the most reckless attempt for 'no damage' and actually accomplishing it when I shouldnt have. And that's the story of my worst and greatest no damage RDR2 attempt lol. About the dot, I would still say I prefer no reticle. Sometimes turn it on to allow viewers to follow the aim - and it's generally courteous if you're boast 'no aim assist' etc. DeeDaw, example of someone who took 'no reticle' to hide his aimbot. I don't mind switching around. BUT I do find myself wanting it off in RDR 1 (my dumbass even tried to cover it with blue tack - before realising I just made a bigger reticle LOL) Even on my Max Payne 2 video I had reticle turned off. I feel like my centre-point instinct gives some form of natural aim assist. I don't think about it I just aim. I tortured myself in developing that instinct only to fuck with / overcome my dyspraxia With regard to more vulnerability, I have installed a mod that cuts my health bar in half. Maybe should cut it even more + increase regen rate which shouldnt be too hard. The main reason why I like 'No Damage' is because I hate how Arthur/John shriek every time they get shot (another thing about RDR1 which I appreciate). It destroys the immersion. In recent compilation videos I actually patch out the shriek from in-game sound, maybe like twice as an experiment and they've worked really well. I think I will just start doing that from now on. An example of this you can check out on my 'Ultra Instinct Advanced Aim' video @ 5:50 (you can see arthur jerk back, but no shrieking because I edited it out lol).
I'm not sure if the cowboy outfit would be suitable in the cold mountains. Maybe closed winter jacket would be cool. Tbh I officially retire as the king of all American Venom's ever uploaded lol. Not that its title is supposed to be special or anything. But after so many restarts, if I have to hear that theme song ever again I'm gonna deadeye shoot myself lol I'll likely do a Jim Milton Rides Again mission video next in this format :)
Well consider this. GTA IV is already on PC, but to actually play it is a total pain in the ass because they made 0% effort in making sure it's compatible with modern PC systems They don't take care of games they already released on PC, let alone porting any old ones. Rockstar are pretty hopeless tbh Luckily emulation has gotten to the point that it performs as well as an optimised PC port.
the moment RDR2 John became RDR1 John
Rdr1 John wouldn’t have been losing to Micah
