Also the fact that if he goes back to his own timeline he completely destroys the guilty gear universe and everything in it stops existing since he became part of it and now is apperently the most important character. The fact that this british man from 1988 is the foundation of this universe since he got timewarped is still funny to me.

I like to think the idea behind " My password is out of the box" is that Axl doesn't have anything to hide, he's just who he is, and he does what he says.
Like I get that, but it literally sounds like "my past world is out of the box" and that makes more sense with the fact he was stuck in time and hes now able to move on with that fact, which also works with the later lyric "my frozen time moves again" which LITERALLY goes right back into "out of the box"

I mean, to be fair, out off the entire cast, Axl is the most put of the water kinda charater lore wise, literally being over 170 years from the past. Since the first game, which took place in 2178. Even if we assume that the time that pasted since then, (2178 to 2187) was also felt by Axl, rather than him blipping out of time, that's a lot of new technology to have to learn

Alright, I'm gonna keep it real.
This song has been telling a message I thought I understood, but NOW I get it. Although it pertains to Axl's character, who has been warped here and there and everywhere, it also pertains to a message/story of adversity. Recently, I've found myself in control of my life MORE THAN EVER. Like, waking up and smelling the flowers. My anxiety has just dropped SO low. My insecurities are all out of the box (pun oddly intended) and now I feel like a whole new me. Though I'm learning not to where my heart on my sleeve.
Anyhow, lyrics like "my time moves again" and Axl just talking about the most random things really hits me on a personal level. Or when he says "my password is out of the box", to me it feels like he could be saying that "you can have my password, you can't hurt me". Like you're free. That's why he "smells the flowers" by talking about scenery around him.
Idk I just feel really happy and I wanted to share this perspective with the comment section because I feel like it might help others come to realize that about themselves. Just in time for Pride Day, which although I do not believe I am anything but straight, I support the movement as always. Feel free to tell your stories of breaking out of "your box" here, like a journal. Also if you feel trapped, try journaling. It works!

Recently, I got a new job, and started working out because I wanted to cosplay a buff character for Comic-con, but I kept going because I just enjoyed it. I feel great, and I've started to notice things like that too. I literally passed a cafe the other day, and I never noticed how good bread smells, and it reminded me of this song
Despite being able to manipulate time and space, he still chooses to live in the present and enjoy life as it is and not as what it could be. That's why he is so happy all the time. He enjoys the moment without worrying about the future or regretting his past.

Ever since November, I have been in a constant cycle of being depressed and not being depressed. That all changed recently when I did something personal that I don't feel like talking about. What I did didn't feel like a big deal at first, but after listening to Out of The Box in full, lyrics like "All day today, the same day has come A different day from everyone", "It's like my time was frozen still", and "My frozen time moves again", really spoke to me, and they made me realize that I did something meaningful and that it made my family happy. Who knew a fighting game theme song could make me feel happy again after looking at it through a different lens?

Im more inclined to favor beauties like Dizzy and Elphelt over cool dudes like Axl but honestly he's definitely my fav character of the entire series. Imagine a world of terrifying monsters, insane technology and apocalyptic incarnations of fundamental forces and this dude just goes where time leads him. Its so respectable that even though he may wake up tomorrow in a different reality, losing everything he worked for he just goes with the flow because he has achieved the most advantageous state for the search of true human happiness: The detachment of the selfish desire of self-indulgence, replaced by an insatiable curiosity of what lies beyond the reality we have constructed for ourselves.

An isekai’d character with sickles and the power to stop time? I swear, it’s like every shōnen put into one fighting game character.
Axl Low was pulled from his timeline with his friends and girlfriend, Megumi and set into the Guilty Gear universe. Now, instead of going back to her and destroying this timeline, he stays to protect it and the new friends he made here.I won’t spoil the Strive story, but oh boy, does it cap off his arc. I used to main Axl and the amount of times I’ve terrorized my friends is hilarious. His theme, though? God, it is gorgeous. It’s great to listen to, especially in the car. It’s just the sleekness of it and the lay back vibe of, “Hey, whatever happens, happens,” is amazing. Certified bop.
You said you didnt want to spoil the game, but Ive never played a Guilty Gear game before, though it really gained my interest, I also doubt ill be able to afford it any time soon, so id like to know more. Alright, so he used to be in a completely different timeline before being pulled out of his own and into GG world by, what I assume, is The Backyard. Him and I-No are connected somehow because his girlfriend was a different timeline I-No and I-No’s love interest was a different timeline Axl. I’m assuming when I-No was born in The Backyard, that was when Axl was pulled into the GG timeline. Also, if you listen to his theme in Strive, it tells you how laid back he is and how he’s not gonna focus on the past or future, but he’s gonna focus on the present and whatever happens, happens. Very dope British guy!
