He was a GREAT Otello. You have to take each one for their interpretation. Also, I heard Jon Vickers do Otello. He was the best I ever heard.

Compared to Jon Vicker‘s overwhelming Otello Domingo’s Otello is ridiculous, even though Renée Fleming’s cutting edge singing is ravishing as ever.
Too bad the Met’s stage design is old fashioned musty as always.
