Great video....i can't believe how many people are agains the shaky footage. It adds such a dynamic especially to football since its a contact sports. Keep up the amazing work
Personally not a fan of the 'Shaky Cam' effect, but I totally get the dynamics that were being conveyed. Overall, I loved the video and the effort that was put in shows! Thanks Matt, Jim, and Westcott Lighting.
Dope Vid.... I’ll be recording some G League and College Footage soon and was wondering what type of Lens works best for these sort of videos... I was told a 70-200mm for my 80D Canon would work but I think that would be difficult when including a gimbal for stability...
I was amazed by the behind the scenes but kinda disappointed when I watched the final video. I guess there’s too much shaky footage here. The composition is kinda messed up too. sorry. :( please don’t hate me for my honest opinion.
I thought it was pretty good, I think they could have filmed in 60 or 120 fps to get that really smooth video in slow motion, but artistically, the choppy/shaky footage does give it a distinct feel, and I think it's pretty cool!
thnk you missd the whole point the shaky cam really not shaky at all the handheld looks give your a diffrent feel of the shots then when its on a gimble handheld makes you feel like your in the action with them . he clearly showed you they had a ronin out there. so ithought it was good balance between the two. but if he had shot this whole thing on a gimble it would not give you the since of feel there going fr n the video.
I still get a kick out of the name of the school: Mccracken. It's like McDonald's and Cracker Barrel got together and had a baby.. lol. Goid job, I've always enjoyed your videos and learned plenty from them.
Basically like a pre event highlight video that covers practice, pep rallies, the band, the fans before a game and all the cool stuff that leads to the event. Kinda like HBO's 24/7 that they do for boxers.
Jeff Speers It was a custom score Jarrod & Matt had made for their hype video, the one Matt referred to in the video was the inspiration for their video.
All of that. Pro mics insane set ups for that video. I can do much better with a camera I have for my highschool smh. Your raw videos are clean tho keep it up

Nice piece, great seeing the XTENDER Friction Mount with the ATOMOS on your camera rig.
Best 1st video I've ever seen. Great job!!

Jarrod Basl WOW! Super cinematic feel. I love it. Was gonna ask when the film was going to be released in theaters, lol. 😀
Thanks Michael! I really appreciate it!
More hype than quality
This should be a movie! Amazing filming and editing work.

4:30 - 4:35. So sick.
3:33 and on. What shutter angle/speed did you guys shoot at? Is it also a global shutter camera you guys used too?

shaky footage can be filming style for videos like football

Do you Shoot in manual or auto focus?
What’s the music I love it!
What kind of camera?
Will it still look good on a t2i I’m just trying to record one for my school
With proper lighting and composition you can make any camera look great!
whats the best recorder for human movement and sprinting? Someone please help
This vid is fire. I guess some don’t understand what a “hype” video is

First! Loadsa Hype! I would have liked to have seen it with maybe a little slower shutterspeed, seemed a bit jittery. But maybe thats just my pc.

Gotta love it when your footage gets taken and ruined. Happens far too often.
Nice job on the shoot.
Loved it! And the edit below, 🔥
@@jarrodbasl6769 The vimeo edit is really good. Really like the grading, and the faster pace.
WOW
Thanks for watching!
3:47 if you slowed down that jumó, would have been epic!!!
What is the hype song? You talk about how it came about but never say the name of it.

Google detect music search says it sounds like : Impact by Seastock

The color grading 😩. Needs some work in some shots. like a lot😂.
Would love your feedback on a video (my first hs football video) its called "Survivor" on my channel. I appreciate it and great work
wrong music
This is done well...music is absolutely awful and ruins it for me tho
you should not shake the camera so much.
