Here's a tiny detail that I only just discovered today: Sovngarde is described in the lore as somewhere you will never feel hungry, thirsty, or tired. If you're playing on Survival Mode, where you will have to eat, sleep and stay warm, when you first step into Sovngarde while playing on Survival Mode, you'll receive a small notice that you don't feel hungry, tired or cold, and those metres won't apply to you while you're in Sovngarde, so this was a nice attention to detail by the creation creator. Whether it's nice enough to be worth spending money on is up to you.
Nope, I'd rather just turn off my survival mods in MCM, better yet; forget lore friendliness, I want some of those Sovngarde foodums served on gold platters.

Now I can get infinite poisons that reduce the enemy's health by 480 points (with 4x +25% enchanted alchemy gear) because of the nirnroot instead of just 450 with that fucking fish.

Number 7, as you may see here,this barrel is occasionally stood next to by npcs, this is a reference to multiple other elder scrolls games where barrels and npcs are seen together, or maybe it's just a coincidence, only the barrels now, and the barrels aren't telling
Igrod is onto their plot. That's, presumably, what she is talking about when she says, "You are troubled, Gorm." And he says, "No, no. I'm fine. Is there something you need?" She replies with, "No, Gorm. I am simply telling you what I see." I always assumed this was what she was talking about, as this would be a troubling thing he would have difficulty concealing from someone like her.
I can't remember if you've ever covered this Nate, but you know Carlotta in Whiterun? She talks about men falling in love with her, so much so that even married men flirt with her. Interestingly, next to her bed in her home she has a book of "enchanting", although she just sells food. Thought it could be a fun, small nod to her personality.

Something I noticed while doing the Quest “nobody escapes Cidnha mine”- I hadn’t started any civil war quests so markarth was still under imperial control. Maybe it’s just a glitch, but when I got my stuff back, I noticed my Amulet of Talos was missing. Either my game just glitched or the devs included a nice lil detail of the imperials destroying it.
*Confiscating it so you are not caught by the Thalmor But seriously, the Empire kinda was helping you out there. Since you aren't getting bagged and dragged by Thalmor agents after you leave any prison in skyrim with an amulet of Talos, you aren't getting reported by the Empire. Further proof that the concordat wasn't enforced until the war.
A really interesting tiny detail, is that when you fight Alduin at the Throat of the World, the quest marker that rests on his head between his horns creates the symbol for "Dragonborn" in Akaviri that we first encounter during the quest "Alduin's Wall"
Fun little thing I noticed: So during ‘The Cure for Madness’ you have the choice to either kill or spare Cicero. BUT! If you kill him, and bring him back using the spell ‘Dead Thrall,’ he will follow you around. Now obviously that’s not all, so here’s the part I found interesting; if you try to bring Dead-Thralled Cicero back to Falkreath Sanctuary, he will instead wait outside. Not anything too special, just found it interesting that they put it in the game.
Here's a detail I found interesting. When the Greybeards share the knowledge of their shouts with you they actually take damage. I feel it implies they're sharing part of their soul with you.

Fun fact, crimson nirnroot can be used as a potent poison(roughly 3 times as powerful as normal nirnroot), so, if you’re of the alchemically inclined, this can be a good reward for finding the roots in blackreach. You could use the roots directly, but allowing the farm to, well, farm it could be more effective.
One time I was walking around, I activated a guard and he said “Psst, hey, I know who you are. Hail Sithis!” Obviously I was a member of the dark brotherhood, but it surprised me
ES5 was the last good game Bethesda made. I'd actually say they started going to down hill due to the success of Skyrim. It gave them an extremely large amount of money and they got careless and started relying on fan hype, knowing fans would be buying it day 1. Which is way fallout 4 was so lacking in content.

In several episodes, a character named Rune is mentioned. I believe he is a reference to Mel Brook's film, Spaceballs. In Spaceballs, the male protagonist is found as a baby with a necklace no one could read. He says he has gone to all the wisemen in the universe and none could tell him what it means. By the end of the movie, Yogurt, the sage who teaches him to use "the schwartz" tells him it's a royal birth certificate and that he's a lost prince. Perhaps Rune is a secret Sceptim? Also, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but when you are doing the second quest to defeat Potema, there is a picture engraved on one of the walls showing Potema... wearing what appears to be the saviors hide. The armor gifted to the player by Daedric prince, Lord Hercine.
A tiny detail while outing myself as a former horse girl: When you're stealing Frost in Promises to keep, his papers state his sire (his "dad") and his grandsire, which is 'Sleipnir' and any horsegirl/Nordic god's fan will know, that is Odin's eight-legged horse. No wonder those people wanted to steal Frost haha

"A Return to Your Roots" is a lot easier if you have the "Green Thumb" Alchemy Perk. With that Perk, you only need to find 15 plants because you harvest 2 from each. If you do seek out all or most of them, that leaves plenty left over for your own Alchemy endeavors.
@@czgaming4503 - You might be right. I recently did the quest in a couple of new runs and wasn't getting doubles. In fact, a few plants seem to be unaffected by the perk. Regular nirnroot, crimson nirnroot, and jarrin root (plantable via the MT Plants mod) are among them.
It's definitely patched cuz I still play the vanilla game on Xbox 360 and even without downloading the patch I needed to install the 3 DLC, green thumb never let me pick 2 nirnroot.

Yesterday I got a letter from a friend, leveled up and talked to the ebony warrior (if i remember correctly he said something along the line of, 'What are you doing here?' Or 'What do you think you'r doing?'). Afterwards i saw the currier go up to the warrior, saying something. Then just continue standing with their chests pressed together for awhile. BTW this happend in Whiterun.
I don’t know if you ever mentioned this before but during the quest we’re you kill the dragon in kynesgrove, if you follow Delphine there she has unique dialogue about some locations you’ll run past or enemies you encounter. It could possibly be a mod I have using unused dialogue but it’s still cool. I wonder if her and esbern have some if you follow them to sky haven temple haha
Tiny details I’m not sure have been covered. You can meet the farmer with the painted cow that he is giving to the giants (this one May have been mentioned) but I recently ran into this giant roaming around with the cow later in the game (assuming there is only one painted cow). I also recently learned that just south of Iverstead area there is a necromancer on top of a hill with a make shift alter where he brings...chickens back to to life. Just chickens.
Funnily enough, Chef Mung Daal is also voiced by Dwight Shultz. Keep this in mind next time Neloth sends you out to gather ingredients, or to assist thwarting Mora. You may just end up being promoted to apprentice chef.
Welp, I just finished binge watching this series. I'd seen a video or five before but I just went through and watched from part 1 to now without stopping. I love how much the way he talks and delivers information has changed. From his earlier talking speed of a south usa bidding announcer, to the slow, calm, well emphasized sentences, aswell as a huge amount of perfectly placed exaggeration in the intonation. Amazing

A tiny interesting detail that I have never heard anyone mention, is that if you see a courier heading your way & you start backing up, after a short distance, the courier will despawn right before your eyes. As soon as you start back towards the area that spawned the courier, one will respawn, however it likely won't be the same one. (This is significant because often you will keep the same courier the entire game.)
#8: You kept misidentifying Idgrod's Steward/husband Aslfur as her Housecarl Gorm. Almost every time you talked about Gorm, you had Aslfur on screen instead.

I don't know if you've covered this. If you have an iron sword, gaurds will walk by judging you, asking if you're attacking butterflies with it. It is different with the other weapons.
Hoping you’re still taking suggestions. 1) NW of Wreck of the Winter War is a small campsite with a journal, talking of dangerous fishing nearby, and in the water are two skeletons surrounded by slaughter fish. 2) south of Broken Helm Hollow is a burned down house, with a corpse inside but also a circle of candles alongside it. Horror at Castle Xyr book in a log nearby, unsure if related in any way. 3) north of the Twilight Sepulcher, atop a hill, is a faerie ring of mushrooms with a bloody skull, skill book, and staff inside it.

If you get annoyed as heck trying to find all the crimson nirnroots and decide to use console commands, you're in for a surprise. The quest counter marks the times you pick up a new root so just adding 30 roots to your inventory will count as ONE.
I recently did a quest that brought me there. The Book of Love quest I think. Started the quest in the Temple of Mara in Riften if you're interested. You meet a ghost who's looking for her husband, it's an easy quest but I loved it, for the lore
So, Linda Carter's nephew used to come in to the Game Stop I ran awhile ago. He would always come in and tell us all the cool stuff he got to see when he visited his uncle at Bethesda. Really nice kid.
Hey Nate, hers a detail I haven’t seen you cover yet. In the orphanage in Riften, if Grelog is still alive, there is a closet next to her room on the right. Inside is three pairs of wall cuffs, like the ones found in the dawnstar Sanctuary’s torture room. The sick lady was locking kids up in the closet

Nate I found something interesting about the START of the game so you have to choose ralof in order to find this (you probably seen it before and covered it) but if you keep the stormcloaks alive in the tourcher chamber then you get access to unique dialogue

In several episodes, a character named Rune is mentioned. I believe he is a reference to Mel Brook's film, Spaceballs. In Spaceballs, the male protagonist is found as a baby with a necklace no one could read. He says he has gone to all the wisemen in the universe and none could tell him what it means. By the end of the movie, Yogurt, the sage who teaches him to use "the schwartz" tells him it's a royal birth certificate and that he's a lost prince. Perhaps Rune is a secret Sceptim?
Also, I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but when you are doing the second quest to defeat Potema, there is a picture engraved on one of the walls showing Potema... wearing what appears to be the saviors hide. The armor gifted to the player by Daedric prince, Lord Hercine.
Hey nate, a Tiny detail here. If you kill the keepers in the Soul Cairn before you meet Valerica she will have unique dialog.

When you're stealing Frost in Promises to keep, his papers state his sire (his "dad") and his grandsire, which is 'Sleipnir' and any horsegirl/Nordic god's fan will know, that is Odin's eight-legged horse.
No wonder those people wanted to steal Frost haha

"A Return to Your Roots" is a lot easier if you have the "Green Thumb" Alchemy Perk. With that Perk, you only need to find 15 plants because you harvest 2 from each. If you do seek out all or most of them, that leaves plenty left over for your own Alchemy endeavors.

@@czgaming4503 - You might be right. I recently did the quest in a couple of new runs and wasn't getting doubles. In fact, a few plants seem to be unaffected by the perk. Regular nirnroot, crimson nirnroot, and jarrin root (plantable via the MT Plants mod) are among them.
It's definitely patched cuz I still play the vanilla game on Xbox 360 and even without downloading the patch I needed to install the 3 DLC, green thumb never let me pick 2 nirnroot.
@@Dragonborn8981MH - Yeah. Seems so. That's annoying. At least there are some mods that make it better. Got one on PS4 that puts a box of 50 crimson nirnroot in Sinderion's house. I still pick some up as i explore, but it guarantees I'll have the 30 along with some surplus for myself.

Yesterday I got a letter from a friend, leveled up and talked to the ebony warrior (if i remember correctly he said something along the line of, 'What are you doing here?' Or 'What do you think you'r doing?').
Afterwards i saw the currier go up to the warrior, saying something. Then just continue standing with their chests pressed together for awhile.
BTW this happend in Whiterun.

I don’t know if you ever mentioned this before but during the quest we’re you kill the dragon in kynesgrove, if you follow Delphine there she has unique dialogue about some locations you’ll run past or enemies you encounter. It could possibly be a mod I have using unused dialogue but it’s still cool. I wonder if her and esbern have some if you follow them to sky haven temple haha

Tiny details I’m not sure have been covered. You can meet the farmer with the painted cow that he is giving to the giants (this one May have been mentioned) but I recently ran into this giant roaming around with the cow later in the game (assuming there is only one painted cow). I also recently learned that just south of Iverstead area there is a necromancer on top of a hill with a make shift alter where he brings...chickens back to to life. Just chickens.
Funnily enough, Chef Mung Daal is also voiced by Dwight Shultz. Keep this in mind next time Neloth sends you out to gather ingredients, or to assist thwarting Mora. You may just end up being promoted to apprentice chef.
Welp, I just finished binge watching this series. I'd seen a video or five before but I just went through and watched from part 1 to now without stopping. It's taken me all night and I believe I'm now addicted to saying "can I interest you in 10 tiny details you might've missed in skyrim?" in all manner of strange and funny voices while running into as many characters in Skyrim as I can and reiterating it everytime. It's been a strange night.

I love how much the way he talks and delivers information has changed. From his earlier talking speed of a south usa bidding announcer, to the slow, calm, well emphasized sentences, aswell as a huge amount of perfectly placed exaggeration in the intonation.

A tiny interesting detail that I have never heard anyone mention, is that if you see a courier heading your way & you start backing up, after a short distance, the courier will despawn right before your eyes. As soon as you start back towards the area that spawned the courier, one will respawn, however it likely won't be the same one. (This is significant because often you will keep the same courier the entire game.)

I don't know if this Tiny Detail was ever said but, there's a room in the Honorhall Orphanage with 3 sets of shackles. The same shackles you see prisoners in. Grelod the Kind was really horrible. I just found the room today.
Two things, Morihaus was actually a Minotaur, and the Skeleton Key also appeared in one of the spin off games, Shadowkey
Just goes to show reading a modded lore screen at face value isn't the most interesting part of the lore

Hoping you’re still taking suggestions. 1) NW of Wreck of the Winter War is a small campsite with a journal, talking of dangerous fishing nearby, and in the water are two skeletons surrounded by slaughter fish. 2) south of Broken Helm Hollow is a burned down house, with a corpse inside but also a circle of candles alongside it. Horror at Castle Xyr book in a log nearby, unsure if related in any way. 3) north of the Twilight Sepulcher, atop a hill, is a faerie ring of mushrooms with a bloody skull, skill book, and staff inside it.

In the sould cairn, there's "lightning attractors" that can be used to turn grand and greater soul gems into black ones
If you get annoyed as heck trying to find all the crimson nirnroots and decide to use console commands, you're in for a surprise. The quest counter marks the times you pick up a new root so just adding 30 roots to your inventory will count as ONE.
Have you covered Gjukar's monument? One of my favorite random locations.
I recently did a quest that brought me there. The Book of Love quest I think. Started the quest in the Temple of Mara in Riften if you're interested. You meet a ghost who's looking for her husband, it's an easy quest but I loved it, for the lore
So, Linda Carter's nephew used to come in to the Game Stop I ran awhile ago. He would always come in and tell us all the cool stuff he got to see when he visited his uncle at Bethesda. Really nice kid.

Hey Nate, hers a detail I haven’t seen you cover yet. In the orphanage in Riften, if Grelog is still alive, there is a closet next to her room on the right. Inside is three pairs of wall cuffs, like the ones found in the dawnstar Sanctuary’s torture room. The sick lady was locking kids up in the closet

I didn't know any of these! I must be one of only a few who doesn't mind the Crimson Nirrnroot quest. I'm exploring Blackreach anyway, it's no problem getting them. But then, I also like Blackreach. Such a unique and interesting location!
