Hi everyone!! In case some of you didn’t stick around until the end of the video, I wanted to let you all know that I’ve posted two new videos to my second channel: Gremlins Central. One is a reading of a poem I wrote several months ago about learning to accept my body as a trans person and the other is the start to a series I’m doing on the queer history of Germany! *Chainmail fact: recently learned that several of my transfem friends all had this thought process, have started dragging my enbys and girls along to these events. So far its never been as big a deal as any of them thought it would be, I get more sh-t for being a very masc presenting enby. Even if you dont have yourself an overconfident transmasc to drag you along, if you want to attend it attend it!*

About the separate world theory, I've always felt that conversations between women/girls are mostly about relating with each other and sharing things about an idea which essentially makes you closer because you relate about certain things about the idea which is a conversational style I am very good with. I think that might be the reason I have difficulties with conversing with guys because they don't fall into that conversational style as easily - someone tell me how to have small talk with guys please haha

do you think you could explain it more? I don’t really understand what constitutes as contributing vs presenting to the group. Especially applying it to 1 on 1 interactions (like wage negotiation). Does it apply to 1 on 1 conversations?
@@pheonixrises11 typically when I talk to my transmasc friends we’ll talk and have one person say everything they want to say and then the next person says everything they want to say. This happens in 1-on-1 convos too.
Is it kinda like mini info dumps that each person involved gets to partake in? I feel like I do a bit of both worlds so to speak? I'm autistic if that wasn't obvious.

The last one is very interesting! I wonder if the fact that some autistic people develop quicker in some areas could affect how they interact with peers? As in, maybe they’ve already learned their own social rules before the groups properly separate? I’d love to know if they ever did more studies on that! I feel like I’d be a mix of both types of discussion structures.

It feels so weird looking at trans community as a trans man who is autistic and was blissfully unaware of the gender concept for almost whole life, but one day it fit me like a rock and I tried to transition. But turns out that it's painful to pay attention to own gender and explain stuff to people and being afraid of other people's reaction to it.
So i came back to presenting as a woman and kinda just adapting to it and ignoring gender again lol 👍

Glad to see you back. Just wanted to share, non confrontationally, that I noticed the vast majority of these videos come from a very white perspective. I respect your desire to compile a place of queer safety, but if that safety isn’t intersectional, it isn’t worth anything to a large and important part of this community. Algorithms don’t favor people of color, and if that means you have to put in more work to seek out those voices, then I ask that you please do better to amplify them, even if it is just in your videos.
Thank you for pointing that out! It’s my first video after being gone for a while and my for you page tends to be messed up when I’m not using Tik Tok more regularly, but I also should be more conscious of that. I’m working on editing the next video now and there’s a lot more people of color in it this time, I think possibly a majority of the videos! I’ll also make a conscious effort in future to make sure my videos are featuring more non-white creators. Since early on in my channel I’ve tried to make my compilations a safe and welcoming space, and you’re right that if I don’t make an effort to make that space intersectional then I’m not creating that community space for everyone and it doesn’t hold up my values or the ideals I’ve established for this channel. Again, thanks for your feedback, I’m always very grateful for comments like this that give constructive feedback on improving my channel!
