Travelled to Pokhara from Kathmandu, took the luxury tourist bus which cost around 1,600 Nepalese rupee (~ approximately SGD 16). Check the previous video link as I've included the description where and how to buy the tickets.
I've stayed in Thupten's Airbnb home and highly recommended as he has over 20 years of being a tour guide. You'll get a lot of information about Tibetan culture, village, local life and you get to live like a local.
I absolutely miss living in his Airbnb place. You can check the link below if your keen to book a night stay in this place or book his tour package (no hard sell). He'll provide you as much information as possible and even suggest you the best place to eat, take the best route and makes you feel like a local.

Otherwise, Pokhara is good for 4 night stay! Don't need to stay too long there, in my opinion, the air was fresher and I felt more on a vacation.
Lynn, u open my eyes to a travel journey that I must follow. The simple living of the Nepal ppl, their good nature is amazing. The country may not have high rise buildings but the rivers+ mountain is so beautiful. The mother nature of their country is harmony. Tq for sharing your journey. Rate Nepal as a solo female traveller out of 10?
Hi Alejandro, I would rate around 7/10 as a first timer there but different solo traveller could have different perspective! A lot of solo traveller actually go there to trek Mount Everest or the base camp, so they might have different purpose :)

Pokhara is my hometown and I think Pokhara is most beautiful city of Nepal and best climate and weather to live. But I would like to explore Karnali(Sudur Paschim region/Far west Region) of Nepal. Karnali is yet to be explored.
