I am a pretty new player....I am Ilevel 1000 and found myself stuck on guardian raids etc etc. I also thought I got gatekept from reaching end game content untill I eventually started a lobby and found all sorta people who just want to help out or offer help if needed. This community is small but there is soo many ways to still progress.

Your only gate kept when your that idiot burning thru ilvls trying to join brel with one engraving and lvl two gems lol endgame is endgame for a reason but getting there I've not had one issue and I'm not bis on most of my characters and play many off metas. Plus the beauty most ppl too lazy to do is you can make your own group lol so anyone crying gatekeeping is just too lazy to make group or not be a hard carry. New players who are starting to play the game for the first time are being banned for being confused with BOTS. This game will never be able to keep new players like this

Your defending a studio that handed out perma bans to players who havnt logged in for months due to botting behavior 😂 I got banned 2 days in after purchasing the $40 starter pack. They ban innocent players because 2/3rds of the population are bots 😂
I think this "return" is momentary. The truth is that the real problem with this game, the most serious at least, is learning raids for new players. There is no efficient way to add new players to the most current raids. There is no point in giving ilv and end game items to new players, if they are going to hit the gatekeep wall, and unnecessary stress in learning new content, most will give up on the game at that point, and only those who really loved the game, or who have experienced friends are the ones who stay. But I see that Smile Gate wants to avoid messing with the "core" of the problem, or modifying the raids to the point of being more inviting for new players, or, creating a learning system that really works without stressing either new players or older players. experienced. In my opinion, SG should eliminate the "event" mode of raids, which NOBODY USES, and put that same difficulty in normal mode, and leave the real difficulties of current raids, only for hard mode.
If they would just add a progression system for non raiders the game would grow. Raid gear should be head and shoulders the best gear no doubt, but why can't there be other avenues for more casual players?

Because, learning the mechanics of raids is very tiring, and it becomes even more tiring and tedious when you are the one teaching them. Most people have little time to play during the day, often 2 or 3 hours after work or college, how are these people going to teach if they can barely do their daily content? The developer itself is the one who should solve this problem, and I see that they have tried, but still in a "discreet" way, and I understand, perhaps they are afraid of making too sudden a change, and alienating loyal players.
me and a friend returned 2 weeks ago too and we really like the events and all the quality of life changes lost ark got. We are yet again fully commited to the game and dont regret it, i wish i had never quit (i quit when kakul saydon released)
Welcome to returning/new players! Hope the community doesn't mess it up this time with extreme gatekeeping. Take a lower roster/DD18/YHAP18. NAW needs to normalize this for Akkan NM, it's where new rosters are getting stuck/quitting. It's not really an endgame raid anymore. Great video Zeals!
dude, I allready thinking of quitting again. I even struggle to find a clown group with my 1585 summoner 5x3 level 3x9 dmg 1x 10 cd gem, rest 8s and 7s. I mean wtf ? I saw groups looking for los30 1580 for Vykas. At least on EU
They even gatekeep guardians man. I've seen so many newbies they want to join the parties that I'm in just to get straight up declined instantly. Akkan is literally LoS 30 territory, even on normal. 90% of the parties want LoS 30, 8% of the parties want you to have PLC (Plague Legion Commander). With luck you find a party, but it's full of below average people that can't clear the raid. So they gotta start progging... eventually people get frustrated because not everyone can play well, they get stuck and can't go on, they quit again. And that is just Akkan imagine, they even gatekeep (!!!) Brel and Clown after 2 years (ON NORMAL) despite being easy AF. It's great that Smilegate and AGS try to cook these massive events.... but what does it help if the community is full of elitist dumbasses that can't have even 5 minutes of their time wasted or life's over? I just don't see people sticking around. Those newbies/returners will soon realize what wall they have to overcome. If you don't fit the criteria of veterans, you're filtered out.... unless you got 3/7 buddies that also want to play and you static all the content. Also, I think it's a huge problem that AGS literally doesn't explain anything about the basics of the game in a very advanced and detailed beginner's tutorial. Which is crazy to me because they literally have Mario minigame practice portals, you can practice Prokel (remember him?) but they can't offer tutorials for battle items (a measly stupid tiptool, that's it), stagger checks, different types of AoE, weak point break and more. This would help new players MASSIVELY to get into Raid content... especially since they no longer start at Valtan, they start at fucking Brel and Akkan. And that's not even me imagine, I tried so hard to pull ahead more newer players with learning parties, just so people tell me when they learned and cleared the raid, they still get declined 90% of the time. Lost Ark has to be the most anti-social MMO I've ever played. Everyone just wants to be an asshole. This is why we get more and more support shortage going into higher content. Newer players aren't given the chance. I'm 1630 now, but told my static I fucking quit. No more Thaemine for me. This game has no future in the west and the community will be the main reason why it dies. This is also the reason why this andy game sits at 50k playercount while you have millions of players sub to a 20-year old relic game with expansions. Guess why?
Its gonna die slowly in the west or have small peaks every hyper for 6-8 weeks unless they expand their target audience to casuals. Its 2024 games catered to hardcore are becoming more and more niche. Its my second time coming back and after a week i already know im going to quit when new wow expansion launches. Cause i can get shit done there however i want it to get done without spending 2/3s of my weekend in queue

They burned the bridge with the playerbase multiple times. That ultimately when they did make it f2p and casual friendly no one even bothered to rejoin again
I have been playing since the beginning of this year. I was about to quit a month ago because of the toxic player base I was running in to, and the horrible comments I received in raids that I was still perfecting (might die at the end, might miss a mechanic I know). Then the server merges happened and the vertical progress hit, and it seemed there was in injection of nicer players.
ive been on and off and this is making me wanna play more, i got roasted in a brel 3 yesterday for failing a mech. it was like our 10th wipe and my first mistake and i was just thinking why do i play this game. cool to know there are discords out there that are willing to teach cause id really like to continue playing.
I’m the guy that took an hour to find out what gear set i needed for my hunger reaper, and i have to say i do appreciate videos like this. This game is awesome but a hell of a lot to take in when you only played up to gear lv 250ish over a year ago to now being 1470 with the boost. Even what items to choose from chests at this level is all new to me as well as many others I’m sure. Most of the information in places i look for the help online go from a basis that you already know a tonne about the game which is confusing so breaking it down for the new bob’s like me is certainly appreciated.
@@ZealsAmbitions Whelp, in that case I'm still out then. One of the worst things I hate about games with gear is useless stats, especially when it's RNG. They have purposely neglected making the other 3 useful in some way so the only purpose they serve is RNG fodder, and basically everyone is running around with the same thing on. yeah... bad stats in rgn farming is just normal nothing wrong with it or else it isn't rng anymore and prices would look different, and like the other said u don't farm ur pieces u buy them and what u get from rng u sell and make gold. that's the auction house heart beat

Playing this game on and off I must say that this is i think one of the biggest updates in the understanding of catch up event. Adventure tome completition island souls etc.
hey, its cool that they changed so much on QoL stuff, but is it still the case that once a guy dies in an 8 man party within a raid boss that the boss cant be finished and you have to restart? thats my biggest barrier to return to the game tbh since i dont want to waste so much time on raids and not progressing if you dont have a consistent party every week and fail with randoms to waste way more time. im working 9/5 so thats the biggest issue in Lost Ark atleast in my opinion

Im returning after several years and im more than confused. Ive forgot how to forge and upgrade weapons and armors, know WHICH weapons and armors i need for my class, know which gems I need and which weapon fragment things I need and how to use/apply them, remember which raids and guardians to do and what their drops are for, which cards i need for my kits, not knowing what ANY NPC does anymore.. everything is all a blur too me and its overwhelming now. I dont know where to even start when it comes to basically re-learning the game and i wonder if i should just create a new character and start over. Im hoping some of these new guide videos will help!
played fresh start for a month, and returning here with loads of friends, seeing many prog parties too. sentiment is only doing legion raids, no dailies, no weeklies, no alts. pure fun only, love a lot of the QoL that wasnt here for fresh start. also the boosts are HUGE
I played for just a few weeks on release and recently decided to give this game another go because I love ARPGs and the combat in this game looks very pleasing on the eye. I was looking for some sort of updated class guide video that shortly explains and shows every class but I couldn't really find anything helpful, so after looking things up for a few hours I found out there's only 3 support classes in the game, which really surprised me, and none of them really tickle my fancy in terms of how they look and feel despite the fact I usually prefer playing support. Kind of unfortunate, but Aeromancer looked fun and like a sort of hybrid support dps so I ended up going with that.
I legit miss this game but I ended up so far behind on being able to learn and get through Kayangel and Brel that I just decided to go play other stuff.
Im coming back and I’m 1445 I feel really far behind and I’m tempted to use this power pass but I’d miss two continents worth of content. Do I power pass now to catch up while there are some players?
I return after one year(one week before brel) and now, people are very toxic while doings legion raids, just one mistake from anyone and flame and disband... i like the game but the playerbase just hate new/returnee players :/ (even on learning groups)
I just want a progression system where I can get gear without raiding. It doesn't have to have the best stats but something I can grind for by crafting or killing world bosses. It is the single thing from stopping me from coming back, I don't have the time to learn all these mechanics and get screamed and yelled at for messing up and wiping a group that does.
Unfortunately, the game is lacking more solo content that can gain you progression. It would be cool to have pvp gear exclusive by farming pvp but it’s not a thing. You only farm more mats for honing. All the gear is locked behind legion raids.
Good vid zeals, i am a returnee that can help my self but it’s good to see vids like these. People can get overwhelmed sometimes and become toxic but vids like these will help others find back that joy in gaming.
As a new player of a couple weeks I have enjoyed the story and the combat is great. My one complaint is not that I'm combat level 50 and trying to get into some endgame content matchmaking seems to be nonexistent.
As a returning player that didn't know about the merge happening, logging in to not knowing wtf happened to my card set, roster storage, etc but how I still had some things like my gems wasn't a good feeling. So... might be quitting again LMAO
I was a day 1 player but fell behind incredibly during Kayangel and Akkan so I just gave up. I return to hopefully have a chance because everything does seems nice but lets see how it goes
They need an alternative to raiding. The gatekeeping is a huge issue for me and my friend. I main Supp and he mains Dps. He makes a mistake, and people ask me to kick him, flat out leave, ask to replace him with a juicer, vote to disband, etc.
Not sure why there such spike. I have returned after I reached Punika end game and holy fuck. Majority of content is so dead and rotting. Most people are sitting in current endgame chores, rest is basically obsolete. Bots are still a thing 😂
That's the main thing. If you became a slave of FOMO and take the game as a job with no notion of when to stop, u will surely burnout and quit. I'm returned too, and I'm just playing my main and a second char using the current event. WAY MORE enjoyable experience

As a new player, the motivation to continue playing is increasingly lost because I don't see anyone and I constantly see around 100 bots in one group moving at the same time. the game clearly welcomes bots with open arms
I returned after half a year. Got breaker to 1580 and couldn't get into akkan party (even though I've done akkan 3-4 times already). I've tried using lfg discord asking for a group (on a weekend btw, where people should be playing), but that didn't help, no one cares. No more lost ark for me i guess. I don't wanna sit in discord all day hoping i can play the game, there's plenty of games to play.
I am in game from start, high roster, los30 demon damage etc and still cant even get inot sonavel group with my braker. New classes are always gatekept

I like this video, i hope to catch some of your streams, im new spent a little bit and am 1610 looking towards 1620 and hopfully clearing voldis and theamine this week. Ive finally realized traveling merchanta are currently goated and at the right time sell even LOS cards, the triod lvl 5s for free are amazing and so is the arkasia tour, also currently (before tier 4) getting the free voldis skip and level 7/8 gems, and having the ability to buy perma lvl 7s while i work other on the side has been great. There is real gatekeeping and toxicity (1610 being gatekept from hard brel even tho ive done normal and hard studied) but if you try hard enough eventually youll be accepted into a group. Also, idk about other server but if your on NA east, please ignore the botting gold farmers who will jajajajajjaja and call you out for making 1 mistake. Or maybe not using the defbuff cleansing pot or not using flare when starting guardian raids, I promise theres good people out there.
Bots. After maint. we could barely hit 40k ccu. Then as the week goes on until next maint we climb to about 55k. In Nov/Dec we were 100k ccu there is no good explanation to losing 50% of your total ccu in 2-3 months outside of bots. It's just bot influence and some new player / returning player. We are also losing launch day and veteran players at about the same rate as we gain new players that actually stick around. There is nothing to FOMO for anymore since we know we can sit at 1620 until Summer so the rush to buy gold is down so the bots are down. When Tower was coming out and hitting 1620 mattered for legendary elixirs, the bot population shot up 50k overnight.
as for casual that doesnt exsist in the game as for easier to play most classes honestly my fav is breaker soul eater aero scraper slayer and scouter or as game calls them machinest

I'd like to return, sinked 1k hours after release already but the game is a F grind and my life cant handle it. Gonna have a kid in a month, my playing days are over :/ weekend diablo and 30 min Honkai is what I have left
They give everything to new players but not the cards and there's no way they can catch up or even know what cards are in this game. Cards are the main things that put them on the gatekeeping list, at least for now.

My advice for new players dont rush for endgame enjoy the ride do all your towers and horizontal content instead of just ilvls cuz just skippin past raids only leaves u less content. Take your time and i promise youll enjoy it morei have alts parked at all dif ilvls so i get to do all the mid-endgame content at ilvl so im.not just doing the same encounter day in day out
My only grape about wandering merchants, now that they are for 5hrs on the map, why they don't offer all of their inventory and we need to pray to RNG for cards to show? considering how important the card sets are.. Light of Salvation and Kazeros Legion Commanders sets will take a lot of time to complete even with that. At least allow a new player to complete Deep Dive and Master of Spears asap It hinders general play a lot, considering they simply throw new people into content that is designed around the power of those sets.

I dunno how it is now in NA. But i was on the cusp of new content and Vikas was our last clear. The bots completely destroyed this game's economy. It's a good system but unfortunately bots throwing the gold equalibrium out of whack made it so you either had to get stupid lucky or try to buy gold from the crystal shop which was absolutely awful against buying gold from the bots cause it was WAY cheaper. The huge influx of gold just destroyed the game for F2P players. Maybe it's better now but unfortunately i cannot play this game again unless they came out with a new server, required you to have a sub to play and made it so no gold could be bought via gems. even then who's to say the bots woulda just destroy the economy again.
I think this online surge will wane again. This is only related to the new character and gifts. In my opinion, the game does not give players enough resources for development, at first you spend half a year sharpening your things, when you sharpen them, they don’t take you to the raid because you don’t have 10 gems and this routine homework, the chance of successful sharpening is so small and people just get tired of it
Can you buy gear off the auction house yet? I love the world and I like doing the main story but I don't like to raid, so I just want to be able to experience the content and gear up without having to raid, I don't care if the gear is a low quality I just want to experience the story and setting while working on my stronghold and crafting.
@@bran1886 Through the new event "Super mokoko express". The event that is happening now gives you a gear relic from Brelshaza, which you can upgrade to +15 (1490 ilvl). When you reach +15 on this gear, the event gives you a new gear, Brelshaza ancient. With this you can increase your ilvl up to 1580 with various discounts and using less materials. So you can progress the story as you want, and maybe do high level chaos dungeons and guardians, since you don't want to do legions... but they are very important for gold and materials! Consider looking for prog groups to try out the new legions, it's fun.
Average LOA veteran player: "Oh man i'm so happy seeing many new players 😊" Also the same average LOA vet player: "Just dont join my akkan reclear lobby" (It's not the players fault, its the game and its trash systems)
changes of chaos dungeon are not enough tho. All daily homework are still being big time consumption (without adding weekly raids) if you want to keep the tempo of the rest of playerbase and catch all the resources that game offer you. still a nono for me to return this game

well for me the game was fun and still fun but i can't keep up any more, need to farm alot to hone then i need gold to hone and upgarde my gear and you fail over and over ,so you go to raid but then 1 alt is not enough u need nore alts to gain more gold to push and keep up , you see where i am going with this , then we have the players who will gatekeep .
I despise gacha games and I despise chore games. Lost Ark is the worst of both of those for an MMORPG. We need more games that respect your time like classic WoW specifically.
I'm returnee and i have characters that have item level for Akkan or Brelshaza hard But i'm not gonna queue for a Akkan or a Brel hard if i have not finish at least LoS 18 (I'm with DD30 atm) I don't like people wasting my time so i don't do it to others I'm doing Chaos Gates/Una's/Field Bosses/Valtan/Vykas and Brel 1-2 NM to farm some gold, practice the mechanics, master my characters and farming the cards You don't need to do the ENDGAME content if you are not prepared to do it (Even if the game give you a 1630 character with level 10 gems you are gonna SUCK ASS)

dude, I allready thinking of quitting again. I even struggle to find a clown group with my 1585 summoner 5x3 level 3x9 dmg 1x 10 cd gem, rest 8s and 7s. I mean wtf ? I saw groups looking for los30 1580 for Vykas. At least on EU
They even gatekeep guardians man. I've seen so many newbies they want to join the parties that I'm in just to get straight up declined instantly.
Akkan is literally LoS 30 territory, even on normal. 90% of the parties want LoS 30, 8% of the parties want you to have PLC (Plague Legion Commander). With luck you find a party, but it's full of below average people that can't clear the raid. So they gotta start progging... eventually people get frustrated because not everyone can play well, they get stuck and can't go on, they quit again.
And that is just Akkan imagine, they even gatekeep (!!!) Brel and Clown after 2 years (ON NORMAL) despite being easy AF.
It's great that Smilegate and AGS try to cook these massive events.... but what does it help if the community is full of elitist dumbasses that can't have even 5 minutes of their time wasted or life's over?
I just don't see people sticking around. Those newbies/returners will soon realize what wall they have to overcome. If you don't fit the criteria of veterans, you're filtered out.... unless you got 3/7 buddies that also want to play and you static all the content.
Also, I think it's a huge problem that AGS literally doesn't explain anything about the basics of the game in a very advanced and detailed beginner's tutorial.
Which is crazy to me because they literally have Mario minigame practice portals, you can practice Prokel (remember him?) but they can't offer tutorials for battle items (a measly stupid tiptool, that's it), stagger checks, different types of AoE, weak point break and more. This would help new players MASSIVELY to get into Raid content... especially since they no longer start at Valtan, they start at fucking Brel and Akkan.
And that's not even me imagine, I tried so hard to pull ahead more newer players with learning parties, just so people tell me when they learned and cleared the raid, they still get declined 90% of the time.
Lost Ark has to be the most anti-social MMO I've ever played. Everyone just wants to be an asshole. This is why we get more and more support shortage going into higher content. Newer players aren't given the chance.
I'm 1630 now, but told my static I fucking quit. No more Thaemine for me. This game has no future in the west and the community will be the main reason why it dies.
This is also the reason why this andy game sits at 50k playercount while you have millions of players sub to a 20-year old relic game with expansions. Guess why?
Its gonna die slowly in the west or have small peaks every hyper for 6-8 weeks unless they expand their target audience to casuals.
Its 2024 games catered to hardcore are becoming more and more niche.
Its my second time coming back and after a week i already know im going to quit when new wow expansion launches. Cause i can get shit done there however i want it to get done without spending 2/3s of my weekend in queue

People will come back and quickly start to realize that the hardest content is still gatekeep fiesta and just leave again. That's how the game works.

Altough they had really bad marketing. Ultimately they also just catered their raid content to hardcore. They burned the bridge with the playerbase multiple times.
That ultimately when they did make it f2p and casual friendly no one even bothered to rejoin again
I have been playing since the beginning of this year. I was about to quit a month ago because of the toxic player base I was running in to, and the horrible comments I received in raids that I was still perfecting (might die at the end, might miss a mechanic I know). Then the server merges happened and the vertical progress hit, and it seemed there was in injection of nicer players.
...only for them to become toxic aswell.
ive been on and off and this is making me wanna play more, i got roasted in a brel 3 yesterday for failing a mech. it was like our 10th wipe and my first mistake and i was just thinking why do i play this game. cool to know there are discords out there that are willing to teach cause id really like to continue playing.
I’m the guy that took an hour to find out what gear set i needed for my hunger reaper, and i have to say i do appreciate videos like this. This game is awesome but a hell of a lot to take in when you only played up to gear lv 250ish over a year ago to now being 1470 with the boost. Even what items to choose from chests at this level is all new to me as well as many others I’m sure. Most of the information in places i look for the help online go from a basis that you already know a tonne about the game which is confusing so breaking it down for the new bob’s like me is certainly appreciated.

7 lobby LF SUPP Reclear for kaya but no learning lobby the problem is there. they have no supp because no one is willing to help them to learn.
One question. There was 6 stats on gear - CRIT, DOM, SWIFT, EXPERT, ENDURANCE, and SPEC. Does every single build still only use CRIT/SPEC/SWIFT?

@@ZealsAmbitions Whelp, in that case I'm still out then. One of the worst things I hate about games with gear is useless stats, especially when it's RNG. They have purposely neglected making the other 3 useful in some way so the only purpose they serve is RNG fodder, and basically everyone is running around with the same thing on. U don’t get your accessories by waiting for the right one to drop, you buy it in the auction house. It’s a good way to help players make gold too
yeah... bad stats in rgn farming is just normal nothing wrong with it or else it isn't rng anymore and prices would look different, and like the other said u don't farm ur pieces u buy them and what u get from rng u sell and make gold. that's the auction house heart beat
See how it goes. I usually run solo and have had a hard time with the grouping and even told groups up front my first time and was given grief over it, putting it nicely
Playing this game on and off I must say that this is i think one of the biggest updates in the understanding of catch up event. Adventure tome completition island souls etc.
hey, its cool that they changed so much on QoL stuff, but is it still the case that once a guy dies in an 8 man party within a raid boss that the boss cant be finished and you have to restart? thats my biggest barrier to return to the game tbh since i dont want to waste so much time on raids and not progressing if you dont have a consistent party every week and fail with randoms to waste way more time. im working 9/5 so thats the biggest issue in Lost Ark atleast in my opinion

Im returning after several years and im more than confused. Ive forgot how to forge and upgrade weapons and armors, know WHICH weapons and armors i need for my class, know which gems I need and which weapon fragment things I need and how to use/apply them, remember which raids and guardians to do and what their drops are for, which cards i need for my kits, not knowing what ANY NPC does anymore.. everything is all a blur too me and its overwhelming now. I dont know where to even start when it comes to basically re-learning the game and i wonder if i should just create a new character and start over. Im hoping some of these new guide videos will help!

Returned after 2 years and it feels like i never played this game before though i got 400 hours playing
played fresh start for a month, and returning here with loads of friends, seeing many prog parties too. sentiment is only doing legion raids, no dailies, no weeklies, no alts. pure fun only, love a lot of the QoL that wasnt here for fresh start. also the boosts are HUGE
I played for just a few weeks on release and recently decided to give this game another go because I love ARPGs and the combat in this game looks very pleasing on the eye. I was looking for some sort of updated class guide video that shortly explains and shows every class but I couldn't really find anything helpful, so after looking things up for a few hours I found out there's only 3 support classes in the game, which really surprised me, and none of them really tickle my fancy in terms of how they look and feel despite the fact I usually prefer playing support. Kind of unfortunate, but Aeromancer looked fun and like a sort of hybrid support dps so I ended up going with that.
Glad to know, I ask some questions and got yelled at lol no hard feeling I know you get the same questions all the time.

I return after one year(one week before brel) and now, people are very toxic while doings legion raids, just one mistake from anyone and flame and disband... i like the game but the playerbase just hate new/returnee players :/ (even on learning groups)
I just want a progression system where I can get gear without raiding. It doesn't have to have the best stats but something I can grind for by crafting or killing world bosses. It is the single thing from stopping me from coming back, I don't have the time to learn all these mechanics and get screamed and yelled at for messing up and wiping a group that does.
Unfortunately, the game is lacking more solo content that can gain you progression. It would be cool to have pvp gear exclusive by farming pvp but it’s not a thing. You only farm more mats for honing. All the gear is locked behind legion raids.
This is why you look for other games and don't waste your time anymore with this Clown's fiesta.

Good vid zeals, i am a returnee that can help my self but it’s good to see vids like these. People can get overwhelmed sometimes and become toxic but vids like these will help others find back that joy in gaming.
As a new player of a couple weeks I have enjoyed the story and the combat is great. My one complaint is not that I'm combat level 50 and trying to get into some endgame content matchmaking seems to be nonexistent.

As a returning player that didn't know about the merge happening, logging in to not knowing wtf happened to my card set, roster storage, etc but how I still had some things like my gems wasn't a good feeling. So... might be quitting again LMAO
Do they really not want to release a SEA server? I can manage playing the western server from PH but I really want low ping.
I was a day 1 player but fell behind incredibly during Kayangel and Akkan so I just gave up. I return to hopefully have a chance because everything does seems nice but lets see how it goes
They need an alternative to raiding. The gatekeeping is a huge issue for me and my friend. I main Supp and he mains Dps. He makes a mistake, and people ask me to kick him, flat out leave, ask to replace him with a juicer, vote to disband, etc.
You can't blame them, they come back from their 9-5 shift and doesn't want to deal with any bs in game.
Not sure why there such spike. I have returned after I reached Punika end game and holy fuck. Majority of content is so dead and rotting. Most people are sitting in current endgame chores, rest is basically obsolete. Bots are still a thing 😂

That's the main thing. If you became a slave of FOMO and take the game as a job with no notion of when to stop, u will surely burnout and quit. I'm returned too, and I'm just playing my main and a second char using the current event. WAY MORE enjoyable experience

As a new player, the motivation to continue playing is increasingly lost because I don't see anyone and I constantly see around 100 bots in one group moving at the same time. the game clearly welcomes bots with open arms
I returned after half a year. Got breaker to 1580 and couldn't get into akkan party (even though I've done akkan 3-4 times already). I've tried using lfg discord asking for a group (on a weekend btw, where people should be playing), but that didn't help, no one cares. No more lost ark for me i guess. I don't wanna sit in discord all day hoping i can play the game, there's plenty of games to play.
I am in game from start, high roster, los30 demon damage etc and still cant even get inot sonavel group with my braker. New classes are always gatekept

I like this video, i hope to catch some of your streams, im new spent a little bit and am 1610 looking towards 1620 and hopfully clearing voldis and theamine this week. Ive finally realized traveling merchanta are currently goated and at the right time sell even LOS cards, the triod lvl 5s for free are amazing and so is the arkasia tour, also currently (before tier 4) getting the free voldis skip and level 7/8 gems, and having the ability to buy perma lvl 7s while i work other on the side has been great. There is real gatekeeping and toxicity (1610 being gatekept from hard brel even tho ive done normal and hard studied) but if you try hard enough eventually youll be accepted into a group. Also, idk about other server but if your on NA east, please ignore the botting gold farmers who will jajajajajjaja and call you out for making 1 mistake. Or maybe not using the defbuff cleansing pot or not using flare when starting guardian raids, I promise theres good people out there.
Bots.
After maint. we could barely hit 40k ccu. Then as the week goes on until next maint we climb to about 55k.
In Nov/Dec we were 100k ccu there is no good explanation to losing 50% of your total ccu in 2-3 months outside of bots.
It's just bot influence and some new player / returning player. We are also losing launch day and veteran players at about the same rate as we gain new players that actually stick around.
There is nothing to FOMO for anymore since we know we can sit at 1620 until Summer so the rush to buy gold is down so the bots are down.
When Tower was coming out and hitting 1620 mattered for legendary elixirs, the bot population shot up 50k overnight.

They give everything to new players but not the cards and there's no way they can catch up or even know what cards are in this game. Cards are the main things that put them on the gatekeeping list, at least for now.

My advice for new players dont rush for endgame enjoy the ride do all your towers and horizontal content instead of just ilvls cuz just skippin past raids only leaves u less content. Take your time and i promise youll enjoy it morei have alts parked at all dif ilvls so i get to do all the mid-endgame content at ilvl so im.not just doing the same encounter day in day out
My only grape about wandering merchants, now that they are for 5hrs on the map, why they don't offer all of their inventory and we need to pray to RNG for cards to show? considering how important the card sets are.. Light of Salvation and Kazeros Legion Commanders sets will take a lot of time to complete even with that. At least allow a new player to complete Deep Dive and Master of Spears asap It hinders general play a lot, considering they simply throw new people into content that is designed around the power of those sets.

I dunno how it is now in NA. But i was on the cusp of new content and Vikas was our last clear. The bots completely destroyed this game's economy. It's a good system but unfortunately bots throwing the gold equalibrium out of whack made it so you either had to get stupid lucky or try to buy gold from the crystal shop which was absolutely awful against buying gold from the bots cause it was WAY cheaper. The huge influx of gold just destroyed the game for F2P players.
Maybe it's better now but unfortunately i cannot play this game again unless they came out with a new server, required you to have a sub to play and made it so no gold could be bought via gems. even then who's to say the bots woulda just destroy the economy again.

I think this online surge will wane again. This is only related to the new character and gifts. In my opinion, the game does not give players enough resources for development, at first you spend half a year sharpening your things, when you sharpen them, they don’t take you to the raid because you don’t have 10 gems and this routine homework, the chance of successful sharpening is so small and people just get tired of it

I love the game but It is unfortunately not a game for casual or working people.
Can you buy gear off the auction house yet? I love the world and I like doing the main story but I don't like to raid, so I just want to be able to experience the content and gear up without having to raid, I don't care if the gear is a low quality I just want to experience the story and setting while working on my stronghold and crafting.

@@bran1886 Through the new event "Super mokoko express". The event that is happening now gives you a gear relic from Brelshaza, which you can upgrade to +15 (1490 ilvl). When you reach +15 on this gear, the event gives you a new gear, Brelshaza ancient. With this you can increase your ilvl up to 1580 with various discounts and using less materials. So you can progress the story as you want, and maybe do high level chaos dungeons and guardians, since you don't want to do legions... but they are very important for gold and materials! Consider looking for prog groups to try out the new legions, it's fun.

changes of chaos dungeon are not enough tho. All daily homework are still being big time consumption (without adding weekly raids) if you want to keep the tempo of the rest of playerbase and catch all the resources that game offer you. still a nono for me to return this game

well for me the game was fun and still fun but i can't keep up any more, need to farm alot to hone then i need gold to hone and upgarde my gear and you fail over and over ,so you go to raid but then 1 alt is not enough u need nore alts to gain more gold to push and keep up , you see where i am going with this ,

I'm doing Chaos Gates/Una's/Field Bosses/Valtan/Vykas and Brel 1-2 NM to farm some gold, practice the mechanics, master my characters and farming the cards
You don't need to do the ENDGAME content if you are not prepared to do it (Even if the game give you a 1630 character with level 10 gems you are gonna SUCK ASS)
