It went out the window over a decade ago when consoles began charging to play online and forcing people to purchase a new console every 5-7 years. It went out the window over a decade ago when consoles began charging to play online and forcing people to purchase a new console every 5-7 years. It means it costs sony more money to manufacture a PS5 then the price they sell it for. AKA sony makes zero profit. They make their money back in game sales.
Yes, even the PS5 pro is probably being sold to break even, meaning it costs sony probably close to $700 to make a PS5 pro. If you took the time to properly research things you would know that. (Also for the record is been that way for over 20 years, all consoles are sold for cheaper then it costs to manufacture them, sony, microsoft and Nintendo.)
Due to currency differences between countries, the PS5 pro would cost us Aussies 1.2 thousand dollars. That's not even counting games, a disk drive (how'd they think this was okay?) and a a stand.
I bet nobody buys this …..at this point why would Sony think consumers would. The gaming community is fed up. The economy is ass and there isn’t any games that inspire a need for a pro. Sony is about to take another L so be ready for PlayStation plus to go up next.
and don't forget to pay for the online connection with your internet subscription lmao
10:34 cant wait
I'm seriously praying 🤣🤣
Hope he gets one of the limited edition Xbox (PS Anniversary) skins too
For real
Concord with "1 players right now" had me killed 💀
Asmon forgot the price of buying a new SSD for the PS5 and that's another $100 - $200 average on top of $1,000.
ikr the way cod and gta are going its going to be like 600gb each for just 2 games
People forget what Pro stood for. Professional grade. imagine that. This is now your JOB...
I love the idea of Asmon getting the Pro and destroying it in his backyard. 😂
Like kid rock
What exactly would that accomplish, though? He still would buy it, so Sony still gets paid. Why would they care if he breaks it?
Horizon is like the Avatar films, they’re supposedly beloved but anyone who’s played/watched them couldn’t tell you why it’s good
The last two gens can be summed as:
Xbone: Xbox fucked up
Ps4: Sony didn't fuck up and turned things around around from the Ps3
Series X: Xbox still getting screwed from the Xbone, basically decides to give up
Ps5: Sony sees Xbox's current situation and capitalizes on the opportunity by skooting themselves in the head.
Meanwhile Nintendo and Valve continue winning by doing what they've always done.
😂 my guy eaten all the console wars propaganda
Yeah...Nintendo busy filing lawsuits like baking bread in the bakery, they aint got time for some little problems like "new console"
nintendo is just as bad
$959.99 in Canada...
How much is that in real money......
@@Raulsta1985💀
Nearly $1100 in Australia
7:00 those smiles look identical 😂
It's sad to see Garth become a corporate drone. guess he is too old to party on with Wayne.
Horizon Zero Dawn is the reason I bought a PS4. Horizon, whatever the next one is called was a solid game, but affected by DEI for sure.
Zero Dawn was incredible. Forbidden West was atrocious.
What happened to Sony? When PlayStation went to California, that insatiable American greed crippled their goodwill.
Sony US HQ is in new york... also they still are in japan they still are based out of tokyo
@@SuperRedNovaDragon Why don't you do some research first instead of simple googling and trusting the first thing you see?
"Sony Interactive Entertainment will not be headquartered in Sony's native Japan, which is where SCE had been located, but rather in San Mateo, California." - 2016.
Sony California has been making the decisions since 2016. Which is also why the shifted their focus from Japanese market to Western market, closed down their Japanese gaming studios or absorbed them into bigger teams and why they started heavily censoring Japanese games. Are you living in a different dimension and somehow all this passed over your head?
"Sony" and "goodwill" have never gone together. Can't pin that on Americans.
@@SuperRedNovaDragon Playstation's HQ, SIE, is in California. Keep up.
I wished Concord came out 15 years ago. Would have given me so much ammo when i still gave a shit about the console wars
"You're down a grand [...] you're paying the tax" - Shit, you're right. I keep forgetting, that US-prices are generally without the taxes. So the US PS5P will, at least, be as expensive as the EU-version, cause sales taxes must be included in the advertised prices hereabout. LOL
**PS5 Pro In The Corner Of The Party**
*PS5 Pro:* They don't know I render three more pixels on the tree's.
I accidentally had a pet peacock when I was a kid... it basically lived in my back garden. It was so cool.
🫛 🐔
How is that an accident?
I too would like to know how you accidentally owned a pet peacock
@yaboydarrell So basically, it must have been privately owned previously and escaped, but it wasn't tagged, so animal control just left it to be "wild." It used to just hang out in my back garden all the time, and we used to feed it.
As I write this comment, 1 dollar = 0.9 euro = 0.75 UK pound.
And somehow the price is higher in euro. Might be taxes I don't know.
The saddest part about it, scalpers are still pre-ordering them all. It was all ready dumb that scalpers bought out the entire stock of Playstation Portals despite no one wanting them but this too. When will Playstation be held accountable?
Don't worry, asmon said he'll BUY one and destroy it, so the problem is pretty much solved.
Man I can't believe Asmongold is the Bay Harbor Butcher
Maybe in VR, he doesn't leave home
