Yeah, the F & Dm are interchangable. You can also play an Fm or Fm6 to REALLY pull on the harmonic heart strings...play Dm the 1st 3x thru and then add Fm or Fm6 ;-)

I stopped playing bass almost 30 years ago, but starting playing ukulele in 2021, I kept the alternating index-middle technic on ukulele. After a very few days I was really surprised how much better, faster and easier this is. 🥴

Stu, love adding new techniques to my daily practice. I’ve been working on the fan strum, the chuck, the triplet strum, and the roll for some time now. They are all improving incrementally by sticking with them and being patient. Thanks for your constant reminder to relax and breathe.

I need to learn some but need some songs to make me practice. Also i learned, quite by accident, the G11. It makes a nice kinda turn around an also adds dimension to a lot of the things inplay

Moving up the neck will present challenges to me bc my fingers dont know where to land without thinking. I also have to count up to the frets. Dont like that. So if you can give any tips on teaching oneself to move along the fret board more easily i would appreciate it! I know PRACTICE will be the main course of action.
