Ah. Like making Tsuda the third Palace Boss rather than Kaneshiro or have him be working for Kaneshiro and Karou becomes a hostage during it which then gives Iwai a reason to get involved with the Phantom Thieves proper beyond being Ren’s Confidant.
If Persona 5 had adult cast, he would be a great member.

its probably supossed to be like that but iwais soundtrack really fits with his story line, first kinda cold and then you find out he's a pretty decent guy and then in the end you start talking to his kid and learn about how much he actually cares about you and his kid. the song is 'happier' in the end

I Played all of Iwai's story, and its really a roller coaster of things. Going from helping a dude with shady business to helping him connect with his son. then getting pulled a gun on by a gang leader to becoming a gang boy with his very own gecko. To be honest this was a very fun story and if you hadn't done the story Do it they are worth the effort to read and listen. I recommend this being done on your first playthrough if possible (You need a lot of Guts).
That's why he's a high priority for me in every playthrough. The rewards you unlock can be ignored, but his story is great, it's not forced or dull. Oh and remember, Attis exists.

I love how this theme perfectly fits Iwai. It starts off as something as a tension moment, but as it continues it just sounds calm, perfectly fits Iwai at first look, who looked sorta tough untill we had a deep connection with him.

I found out during my vacation to Tokyo that airsoft gun shops really do exist; one day I encountered a gun shop in the back alleys of a shopping district, and it gave this same ominous feeling too, but not the rest of the alley. I'm not even allowed to take photos (after thinking it through, it has good reasons), but the guns look very realistic, showcased very nicely, and the person handling the shop looks like a good person too. It helped me appreciate Iwai more. It also makes me wish I was a gun enthusiast back there, as I did not have the "guts" to go inside the shop...
Japan created airsoft They have tons of great shops. Lots of shops in Japan not just the airsoft shops don't like you taking photos. they worry about corporate espionage and stuff. Don't want the competition copying their merchandise selections and layouts etc.

I’ve tried playing this game before but the insanely long intro put me off until I bought the PS5 version recently. I decided to muscle through it this time and the game has been rewarding me in droves for doing so. My concept of time goes right out the window whenever I start a session.

For real, I played this game over the summer vacation 2022, and that month just *flew* right by. I was so engrossed.

Iwai has to be one of my favorite npc’s. His character has so much depth. Sucks that his quest was just a mementos request instead of a full on palace, his backstory was too good just make him a side quest
I think he should have had a role in the Kaneshiro Arc.
