Bulls (males) are generally larger than females.
In the wild, Asian elephants have an average lifespan of 60 to 70 years. However, their lifespan can be influenced by various factors, including habitat conditions, human interactions, and access to resources.
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, there isn't a specific elephant sanctuary in Koh Samui, Thailand. However, there are reputable elephant sanctuaries in other parts of Thailand, like Chiang Mai and Phuket, that focus on ethical and responsible interactions with elephants, promoting their well-being.

Dein Video zeigt die atemberaubenden Strände, die prächtige Landschaft und die faszinierende Kultur von Koh Samui. Ich war noch nie dort, aber dank deinem Video fühle ich mich, als ob ich die Insel bereits besucht hätte.
Deine Aufnahmen sind so klar und gut gemacht, dass ich das Gefühl habe, selbst dort zu sein. Es ist wirklich inspirierend, all die Schönheit dieser Insel zu sehen.
Ich war verblüfft von der Vielfalt und Schönheit der Tiere, die dort zu sehen sind.
Besonders berührt haben mich die kleinen Tiere, wie der Sugar-Glider, mit seinem niedlichen Aussehen und seinen flinken Bewegungen. Es war wirklich faszinierend zu beobachten, wie sie auf der Suche nach Nahrung sind.
Selbstverständlich sollten wir auch an die zahlreichen Elefanten denken, die auf Koh Samui beheimatet sind. Für mich sind es majestätische Tiere und es war beeindruckend, sie in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum zu beobachten und das ihr das Privleg hattet, sie füttern zu dürfen.
Ich danke dir, dass du deine Erfahrungen und Eindrücke mit uns teilst. Dein Video hat meine Reiselust geweckt und ich freue mich darauf, eines Tages selbst nach Koh Samui zu reisen.

Aloha Denisa , suuuper , parca din ce in ce mai frumos . Mi-a placut foarte mult acest clip in care ati fost foarte activi si ati fost hranitoriii elefantilor. Aveati putina teama asa-i ? in fata acelor Mastodonti. In orice caz a fost impresionant. Nu ati urcat si pe ei sau poate in clipul urmator. Totul a fost spendit , si vegetatia si marea turquoise, si mancarea colorata si apetisanta mai ales cu fructele de mare , si ce frumos este totul facut pentru turisti. Mda am fost cu voi asa as putea spune . felicitari si astept pe urmatorul .
Aloha draga Tavi! Ma bucur mult ca ți-a placut! Dupa cum vezi, Thailanda înseamnă și altceva decat ceea ce auzim noi…exista părți bune și părți rele, ca peste tot, însă cele bune predomină în proporție de 90%, spun asta ca turist. Weekend frumos! Aloha 🤙🏼🌺
Am uitat să răspund: clar mi-a fost frică rău de ele (toate fete), dar au fost cuminți. Nu se călăresc elefanții, asta înseamnă un sanctuar, pt ca au grijă de ei sa nu fie chinuiți. Nu am știut acest fapt până nu am ajuns aici.
