There is a main drain line going to two separate drains in the deep end. It helps clean the bottom of the pool

Great job! Im doing the same thing. Digging my footing trenches now...very tough due to the water table in Florida. I love how you did the floor in sections like that!

Thanks, it made it a lot more manageable dividing it up

For sure! What mix did you use for the 3 hopper walls that were hand troweled, by the way? Sorry if I start asking a lot of questions, my build is coming along and yours is pretty much the gold standard that I've seen on youtube so far!

@@timjs1018 it was a standard concrete mix but was pretty dry so it wouldn’t all run down. Good luck!

It’s holding up great, I wouldn’t change anything except my paychecks, still saving to put concrete all around the pool

Very great! Any idea about how much you spent on the pool so far? Also when you were digging the deep end, did you leave the on the edge or did you drive it into the pool?

The liner, coping and everything so far around 15,000 to 20,000 dollars. I used a mini excavator on the deep end from the edge of the pool

@@joshkrehbiel7885 Thanks! do you feel like you could of not used a liner and just applied a roll or spray applied waterproof membrane to the concrete to waterproof it? Or is applying a liner just easier?

@@nicolasstoker5951 our soil expands and contracts a lot, I didn’t want to worry about cracking. A liner was much easier and gave me peace of mind.
