I marched in the Lodge as a kid, I'm 69 now so it was a life time ago. The world was a different place post WW2. That was like going back in a time, and very nostalgic for me especially the drumming. I forgot how good the snare drums sounded. Never the less it was nothing like it was all those years ago, it seemed out of pace with the times. Like an old folk tradition. Quaint nostalgia I enjoyed it.
@MOUNTAINGOAT66 wouldn't watch it all. I can't believe the people of Liverpool permit this rubbish to take place in their city. The police should stop it if they were any good. But we all know they are useless. Merseyside police is second only to the met when it comes to corruption.

Another fine video David , I wonder why Queen Mary is not mounted on a white horse as each queen was in the 1960’s when I used to see them all when trying to get to work in the days when the lodges used to March up Moorfields and go by train from the long lost Liverpool Exchange Station to Southport, maybe the horses were taken back to the dairies and carried on with the milk rounds until everyone returned from Southport in the evening
With the pipe band at the end some1 who was against protestants and the lodge was arguing and so he tried to assault one of the members but the Marshall moved him away and chased him but the Marshall fell and cracked his head open and yh I only know dis because I am the side drummer in the front middle of the Duke of Lancaster band which was the band in front of the pipe band
Only when it comes to playing the national anthem at Wembley. A lot us like and get on well with Mancs and people from Lancashire and Wales and Scotland etc. Liverpool was technically in Lancashire until IIRC 1974. It's only when we encounter people from the depths of darkest Yorkshire that things can get tricky LOL 😀
Living in the past, move on.
