Hi Kim! Wow 50 years, that is amazing. This was an awesome video with an incredibly good speaking French narrator and she included some amazing pictures! Kim!!! Your topics are ALWAYS the best. Every video is different and I learn something new every one. I would have gone into the heaven cafe and probably stayed out of the hell cafe. But I would have had to take a peek for sure! Hi mind blowing, I agree with you that the people of that era had more imagination than people today despite all of our technology. Just look at all the clothes they wore, frills, lace, cuffs. It sounds like when I was a kid going to the fun-fare and entering the monster and ghost castle riding through in a little train and getting scared out of your skin. I've heard of Hell's Kitchen, but never Hell's Cafe. But yeah, the Victorians did have a sense of humor. If you've ever seen the cheeky tombstone inscriptions of the old West era, they're not merely an invention of Hollywood. Ironic epitaphs making puns or jokes about how the decedent died actually _were_ a common occurence.
