    Just an FYI… I would invest in a good set of hex key bit’s if you’re going to be tinkering with this bike. I use the Wiha mini ratchet set, but anything Wiha is amazing especially if you’re working with cheaper Chinese materials and are worried about possibly stripping thing’s you shouldn’t. Plus it makes it easy to get into tight spaces with some decent torque with the 4” ratchet

      Couldn’t agree more. I used Home Depot generic hex keys and they were twisted afterwards. So I’m gonna get an upgrade soon for sure

    Thanks for this! Will certainly remove the brake sensor on mine, it seems very strange that you can’t brake and accelerate at the same time, this is how you’re taught to ride in the UK at least!

    I put passenger pegs on my talaria the other night and had a hard time breaking those peg mount bolts loose too. I used a long cheater bar and they broke right loose. I would avoid adding heat near the electrical components. When I’m doubt, add LEVERAGE

    • @haveagoodoneyt
      @haveagoodoneyt  ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice! I’m glad it worked out for you. I definitely need to invest in some better hex wrenches. Mine always feel sketchy so heat was definitely better in my case by yea. If I could have used more leverage I would’ve preferred that

    Hello! Can the original factory controller of the Sting RMX 4 be programmed? I know replacing the controller would be the best solution, but that's too expensive. I live in Hungary. I would need the secret codes of the factory controller so that we can modify them. Thanks to everyone who can help with this.

    Honestly, I really great video overall. I was really hoping you would get into kickstand sensor deletion, or even sensor removal, but so far nobody has.

    • @haveagoodoneyt
      @haveagoodoneyt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you 🙏
      The only reason I didn’t is because my kickstand sensor never worked to begin with.
      If you do want to delete it then all you have to do is unbolt the sensor, it’s under the bike, and zip tie it out of the way. It operates off a magnet that turns the bike off when the kickstand goes down and connects. So as long as it’s far enough away from any steel then it won’t shut the bike off.

    • @nightdrv
      @nightdrv 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    One question: why did the dealer not do the display swap free of charge?

    • @haveagoodoneyt
      @haveagoodoneyt  ปีที่แล้ว

      I bought the bike from Ebikezilla which is based in Canada. So they couldn't do it themselves without massive shipping costs. So the next best thing was to send me a working display free of charge. I'm very thankful for that because they shipped it very quickly and I was back out riding in no time. Plus the new display starts limp mode at 10% instead of 20% so I got a secret bonus!

    • @intensegamer7559
      @intensegamer7559 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@haveagoodoneyt Okay. But since this seems to have been a warranty issue Ebikezilla (and ultimately Talaria) should have covered all the cost including shipping. The question is why they were not obliged to do so. Are there no laws for that in Canada and where you live?

    • @haveagoodoneyt
      @haveagoodoneyt  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@intensegamer7559 honestly I wasn’t concerned with that. I wanted ride and I was just happy to get a free replacement as I’ve heard other dealers refuse to help. It all worked out in the end and I was happy.
