I think no one looks at Duke's ability in late game. He walked to top lane and bot lane pushing the waves hard. Then he walked back to mid lane and joined teamfight. Everytime teamfight took place, his Trundle walked to mid lane and stopped Jhin from making damage for few seconds, for example, 39:16 he stopped Jhin from walking into SSG team, 50:00 he stopped Jhin's ult, kicked Jhin away and took 2/3 HP from Jhin. TBH, he did lots of contributions to SKT.

Bengi was such a lifesaver. Benching him was such a mistake, and bringing him back really shows just how good he was.
He probably was pretty tilted after game 3, benching him in game 4 allowed him to come back with a fresh mind to game 5. I don't know if I would do it, but it has some sense.

It seems like Korea's real power is not the players, it's their system and those trainers/coaches with a lot of experiences. *That's why It doesn't matter if the Korean exodus happens again.* They will just gather more players and train them really good. They are literally the starters of the pro-gaming scene, they were the pioneers. They established the system decades ago when nobody seriously cared about the gamers and they are still working for the scene. Look at those Korean casters they are the same people lol. I mean they have a lot of special know-how so it's not like we're gonna beat them in 2 or 3 short years so let's take it easy. For example, even their shoutcasting there is a good reason why they are doing it. They did it because they wanted people to know it's a sport, not just some kind of nerd party, and it also helped people from getting bored easily. They were the pioneers it shows their history. Let's take it easy at least the gap is closing.

Under 0 circumstances should A: He have been so far forward when he was alone and B: Been that close to the enemy. That mistake allowed SKT to snowball that advantage taking more and more objectives and the rest of the game went on.

He was grabbing the opportunity to burst down Bang but he miscalculated Bang's movement and the Jhin range, indeed a mistake causing a loss in pressure on objectives due to Jhin's absence driving skt the advantage.

I still remember this series, in this game at 40 minutes its like they said "ok guys let's get serious" and completely outplayed Samsung in the jungle for vision then Baron. From there it was a textbook game. Prime SKT was a team that was a joy to watch, there will never be again another team like Faker-Bengi and 3 players.
This didnt age well lol. I think the current t1 could be better. Could be but still a ways to go.

@@tuti5521 he and Duke (the Toplaner at the time) left for some Chinese team. it didn't work out well for them, Duke somehow manages to get another Chip in the following year from Invictus Gaming, while bengi called his retirement as he is going in the military. if he and Duke stayed on Skt for 1 last year, almost anybody would say " they can 3-peat" sadly it didn't happen. and now SKT or T1 is the shadow of their former self, they looked good in 2019 tho, winning the LCK Spring Finals and reaching semi's on worlds 2019..

to be fair, while bengi played really well and was crucial in skts 3rd world championship, i feel like blanks poor performance made him look even better. blank losing games in the semifinals and finals and dragging them to game 5 made bengi look like he saved skt and was the turning factor for the team. if bengi just played all the games, i feel he would look less like a "savior". i mean if you put in tsm wukong and get destroyed, and then sub in faker and win, then faker will look what bengi was. while bengi did help carry in several games, thats not to give the other members of skt, especially faker, any less credit.
Yeah Blank doesn't have as much synergy with the team. Bengi still mvp though. Comes in playing nidalee for first time and wins after being benched for so long. In the words of RiotKobe, "He came in like superman." He finished the whole semi/finals stage 6-1
