Mr. Bankes is one of those people who stand out to me when they sing and play. Subtle, subdued, involved. He cracks me up with his seriousness during Teenage Dirtbag. Well done.

Robbie Krieger, The Doors guitarist learned how to play guitar from a ukulele in high school ~~ BUT he came to it by developing an appreciation for Flamenco music. So he tuned his ukulele like the bottom four strings of a guitar and whanged away at it. Gradually he got weary of this so, on a vacation to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in 1963, he bought him setting a Juan Ramirez P. peg-tuned guitar and mastered the genre on that.

The first time I watched uogb was the good the bad and the ugly. I was hooked by Jonty's whistling. I watch the video occasionally to cheer me up. I can't help but laugh along with him. I've noticed something too. Does anyone else notice he always has that devious smile on his face? I love the music all around. Two thumbs up for uogb!

Ukuleles are the most interesting musical instruments. Similar to a guitar and a banjo.
