    Thank you so much. I finally get it!! I had no problem with the scan n cut or the simply Applique. I just didn't understand how to use the snowman stickers to get it all lined up. Finally it all makes sense. I have looked and looked to see an explanation of how to place stickers. as in the second hooping.
    Every one showed how to center it on a 90 degree but not when the file was angled right or left. You did that for me and I am soooooo happy. I am getting out all my materials and trying it tomorrow. Hurrah

    Thank you for the information on the ironing pad for use at the machine. I’d just been using a couple of layers of fabric but had insulbright left over from an earlier project. Score. I’m no longer worried about damaging my machine bed accidentally.

    These ae outstanding instructions. I'm not doing this project because I inly have 5 x 7 hoop, but am watching just for the understanding I gain.

    Love watching your videos Becky. You're such a great teacher. Need to win the lottery so I can buy an embroidery machine, Scan 'N Cut, printer and rent a bigger apartment or buy a house. Lol

    I'm not making this wall hanging but so enjoy watching, I'm learning a lot. Thank you. I've found that I like using my Clover Mini Iron for applique. I find that my little Dritz just gets in my way since I have a rather small sewing space.

    I have ungrouped the SVG in Sure cuts a lot and also Scan and cut Canvas with no problem. Then saved each piece in files for that particular part of the design ready to cut on my CM550 Scan and Cut

      I don't think the issue was ungrouping, it was the resizing of the design. In the final episode of the sew along, I show how to scale it to size and then set them for cutting at the correct size. Recommend you watch that before doing any cutting. :)

    So Excited to start sewing this pattern! I have all the fabric ruff cut and will be using my scan n cut to cut is out today. I don't have all the embroidery parts put together yet. Still working with my BES4 to finish that up. Thank you for doing this sew along! It's help me to have the confidence to do this project!! You are a great teacher :)

    On behalf of Urban Elementz, The SVG file can be ungrouped, and if a customer has trouble using the SVG file, we are able to provide the native Canvas format at full size. It can be requested at support@urbanelementz.com if you've already purchased the cut files.

    So much for my brain wave. Never mind.

    Those people who are trying to ungroup, could try divide instead in Brother Canvas. it may work.

      The problem is the resizing. Even with the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" checked, it's nearly impossible to figure out what is the right size on screen so it matches the size on the paper. I've wasted so much time trying to figure it out. If the svg's were separate files for each piece, that would be fine, but the svg is one entire single file for the whole pattern. So the SNC and the Canvas both auto-resize the entire design to fit on the 12x12 mat. You can then resize each individual piece, but to what size? You don't know how much or what percentage the original was resized down, so you can't enlarge it accurately back to the original. If someone knows, I'd love to hear.

    What is the difference between the SNC125 and the SNC225? Does the 125automatically choose the depth? Which model did your new one replace?

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, the 125 will automatically choose the depth. My original SNC was the CM650. Here's a good article explaining the differences between the 125 & 225.

    My Darling love watching your videos. Is this pattern only for lg hoops.

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The smallest I would do for this pattern is a 9x14. But Simply Applique works great for smaller applique projects too!

    Why do you skip the tack down stitch??

    • @PowerToolsWithThread
      @PowerToolsWithThread  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The fabric was backed with Heat n Bond and I ironed it to the canvas fabric. Since it is ironed down, it want move so the tack down isn't required. Thanks for watching!
