Loved serving in Northern Ireland. The people on both sides, even the ones who HATED us, always had time to chat, crack a smile and have a laugh even if it was at our expense. The Troubles also brought out the warm and humorous side to the Northern Irish people.
Very apt and self serving as long as you don't actually live in a working class area. There was nothing "fun" for families living through such political hell. These Middle class comedians saw an opportunity...and went for it. ....
Some of you people need to lighten up! Our differences between Catholics and Protestants has became a big joke and a way of playful teasing among Northern Irish youth and I'll tell you what, it is a good thing. It shows how we have moved on and how we take our differences less seriously, turning our differences into something that can be laughed at by everyone!
Most of the troubles now are the children are bored (all ages). The Parents are too lazy to guide them to do the right things, they allow their kids to do what they like. The past is the past. Ah what's the use? Just grow up.
Funny what a pity neither of the two previous com-mentors had the balls too commentate on the video themselves. What are they scared of? Only one I would have the courage too state that I am afraid of is the Lord Jesus Christ.
why did the n.irish want king billy of orange (netherlands) and not a irish/scottish/celtic/ulster figurehead or monarch. can some ulsterman answer me this pls ?
WTF The funny side of the troubles!!....Yea come to think of it, it was much funnier than the Vietnam war and definitely hilarious compared to the middle east conflict. Yes siree bob.. those paramilitaries are a barrel of laughs.
cuzins9 What do you mean by that the Irish wanted king billy a protestant king? They never asked for it. it was the english who asked him to beat jame and not the irish.
Only people from Northern Ireland will understand this. Just read the comments of outraged outsiders

You know what's funny is all the protestants swimming home back to england, that would be class humour.
Can you imagine though all 1 million of them paddlin across the irish sea? It would be some sight
Olly go back to Ireland ya leprechaun
That's not very nice considering the most famous Irish republicans are Protestants.!!!! Stupid statement you made there.!!!!
I don’t want my Protestant mates to go anywhere.
The narrator sounds exactly like Liam Neeson.
The narrator is the man who presents the programme too, Jim McDowell.

Steven McNamara
British Army played a big part in the terror including shooting hundreds of innocent civilians and even helped in bombing Dublin
Your brain died and then you discovered youtube

It was all about religion.
it was politics, it just so happened that literally all nationalists were catholic and literally all unionists were protestant
This is not funny.
