I’m really mad about the hair colors. The original color choices were very limited, and they’ve added more and more. But why did they take away the unnatural red? We can have three shades of purple but suddenly I can’t have red???

When instead of just egnologing we have opinions they actually listen to them and do something... "you love gen 1 right!?" "Yes niantic but it only works when its nostalgic, and for nostalgia to work it has to be a past memory from a different time not repackaged 100 times every other year.. And why you shiny locking everythin?!?" We bought the DLC and they still locked even old shinies we have access to in other games...We cant breed any paradox pokemon for shinies so exclusives are now a bigger thing than ever... such a shame because between video games, cards, licences, plushies and other merch they make soooo much money most people couldnt even begin to imagine, yet we got the mess that is violet and scarlet... we gotta realize they lost there soul as a company around the time ultra sun and moon didnt do as well as they hoped. I uninstalled GO back in February, during the Timeless Travels event, no less (which I'd initially been excited for, wanted to try getting a Shinx), but then I realized I was more or less bleeding money weekly to keep playing. Uninstalled, told myself 'maybe I'll come back in the future'. And now I don't know if I ever will. I'm almost mortified to see what my character looks like now, and I cannot bring myself to reinstall the app and check. I'll gladly sit in limbo in this regard.

Something else I just noticed is that all the characters' skin looks more pale and washed out now. Not like whitewashing, a black characters still look like a black characters but now they also look very dehydrated or something.
Also the fact theyve effectively banned a user from using the ingame help by not closing the convo, then telling them theyve gone against the T&C and giving them their first strike
I used to have realism in what is called “reality”, I would go outside and there it was, a bland world of mediocrity where everyone looks average. Then Id have another place called “fiction” where magical cute monsters exist in a world of beauty and everyone is attractive. I'm a heavy guy but my first reaction after the update immediately was "why is my character's face so fat?!" And why do I look like "Casper the ghost?"
Wouldn't be an issue if they just added the new models as an option instead of replacing all the old ones. Like, if someone wants to be ugly as fuck, sure, let them, but don't force it on everyone.
I think my biggest complaint is that my character went from a somewhat slim build with a slight tan, to emaciated with a complexion comparable to raw chicken. Doesn't help that the morel proportions are seriously uncanny.
I saw this on my feed, loaded up pokemon go, saw my character had actually been changed, deleted the app. Almost lvl 40 and wont miss it at all. #revertupdate
For how I customized mine I had to make him wear a different outfit that’s not like the team rocket outfit. But besides that I’m fine with how he came out.

Investment firms tend to have "ESG loans" where if you can prove you are DEI-compliant (for instance by hiring a 3rd party DEI consultant firm), they lend you massive amounts of cash. They don't push those egregious changes for the consumers but for the investors, that's why they don't care if they lose money from the player base

Its like asking someone whose bound to a wheelchair "Do you want to play Wheelchair character? Or the character thats not in a chair?".
Games can look bad and still be great, look at original FF7 the game looks bad not counting the cgi cutscenes and the game is regarded as one of the best games to this day. Still this should be fixed, but no one plays this game for the character customization, they play it for the Pokémon just like any other Pokémon game so I just feel indifferent to this situation especially since my character doesn't even seem like it was hit with this, still feel bad for everyone else

I'd love for them to add it back and then we get to see just how many people even use the new designs. That way the whole world can get an idea of just how badly those resources were wasted.
Something else I just noticed is that all the characters' skin looks more pale and washed out now. Not like whitewashing, a black characters still look like a black characters but now they also look very dehydrated or something.

I used to have realism in what is called “reality”, I would go outside and there it was, a bland world of mediocrity where everyone looks average. Then Id have another place called “fiction” where magical cute monsters exist in a world of beauty and everyone is attractive. Then someone decided that it was a good idea to destroy that place called “fiction” by turning it into “reality” as well. Thank you for not letting me leave this miserable real world for even a second, its such a gift.
I finally had the perfect outfit I could keep forever, but the update made me shaped like a can of Coke and everything was clipping, plus somehow the faces got uglier. So I had to find things that looked almost okay. Basically... they tried making everything unisex. Because, reasons.
I mean if they want to give the option to create these “ugly” avatars then why can’t they keep the old ones as well, be like Palworld where the devs give you the option of creating decent looking characters or ugly motherfarkers at your discretion… 🤷🏻♂️
Character creator in Palworld was made like this because germans, austrians, russians and georgians sometimes want to make a character with very stupid moustache.

My character used to be very close to my body type but now it looks manly so I’ve changed the clothes I put on my avatar.
I think simply it lacks the Pokémon GO art style that we are used to they could have just added more hairstyles more skin tones and could have just been done with it

I think my biggest complaint is that my character went from a somewhat slim build with a slight tan, to emaciated with a complexion comparable to raw chicken. Doesn't help that the morel proportions are seriously uncanny.

Its like they watched that episode of Community about coming up with an all-inclusive mascot and thought it was a fantastic idea.
For how I customized mine I had to make him wear a different outfit that’s not like the team rocket outfit. But besides that I’m fine with how he came out.

Investment firms tend to have "ESG loans" where if you can prove you are DEI-compliant (for instance by hiring a 3rd party DEI consultant firm), they lend you massive amounts of cash. They don't push those egregious changes for the consumers but for the investors, that's why they don't care if they lose money from the player base
